M4 ipad Pro is clearly the winner here, judging from the stable 120fps it's providing. It can maintain 120 most of the time compared to the m2 ipad Pro, which sticks around 80 - 90fps.
Well before release the m2 ipad could and still can handle 120fps its just i think apple is making more updates to slow the m2 down in order for customers to buy the m4 i defo want the m4 by at least winter id want the nano texture display tho for gaming and other things

Wzm devs made peak/higher graphics no longer playable as they further increased graphic textures for specifically the iPads (not smartphones).😢 Make sure to avoid playing on peak graphics as this is now very demanding and too much for both the iPad Pro M2 and M4! Hopefully devs bring old graphic textures back so peak will be playable again. As for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, peak graphics remain the same and is playable. Last but not east, tablet version cannot be compared to smartphone version of this game. Tablets are running to what is equivalent to high graphical quality and smartphones are running low graphical quality.

The problem with the replaced textures, if they use the same texture at 1700p like at 1200p, it's not this bad, but the iPhone and Galaxy will never use the 1700p texture on the phone, and the 1300p for iPhone an the even less than 1080p for Android is a much smaller/lighter texture pack..
Because iPhone have 1000p renderig resolution on high setting but M2 iPad have 1200p rendering resolution on high setting (just look the resolution numbers after the text), so the phone can use the 1080p textures but the tablet use the 1440p textures for the game, bigger/better resolution textures = more demandig, so less frames.
I'm currently playing on xiaomi pad 6s pro. I can play on graphics: higher and framerate: un-capped, but unfortunately there's still some bugs and issues like random flickering, desync when shooting an enemy, sudden crashes and overheating. But if i play on higher with high framerate, it still overheats and random flickering and desync are still there.Also, it can only run 60-80 but usually 60 or barely 60fps on un-capped and 45fps on high. Idek how's that possible on 8+8gb ram, snapdrag 8 gen 2, gpu of adreno 740 and 144hz display and res.(2032 x 3048).

The biggest question is whether it is possible to remove the higher resolution and run the same settings as on the iPhone, possibly at 120 fps on the M4.
if you prefer the PC version then definitely ROG ally. but for me, I like WZM better due to better portability and being able to switch between iPad and smartphone. As for performance, the iPad Pro M4 is significantly more powerful than ROG ally. The ROG Ally can only play Warzone at 1080p while the iPad Pro M4 can handle WZM at 1600p resolution and higher graphic textures.

According to 3DMark Wildlife Extreme the M4 is better. My ROG Ally gets a 5.1k score at 30 TDP. Technically the Z1 Extreme is better than the M2 because of sustained performance and sustaining a 5K score due to fans/cooling. The M2 starts at 7K but drops down to 4.5k score after 20 minutes. The M4 chip gets 8.9K and drops down to 6.6K after 20 minutes. Thus, the M4 is better as even in its throttled state, it's still ahead the Z1 Extreme. With a fan or cooling the M4 is massively ahead and on par with mid tier RTX desktop GPUs.

it's tandem oled meaning double . Less likely for dead pixels than regular oled. If you have the money then it is the best device for mobile gaming atm

I think it’s optimization issues. This game is still a mess and why even more it’s impressive the M4 can achieve this frame rate. I expect better fps performance in a month or two when ranked mode gets released. Devs have stated that fps will approve across all devices in future updates

Higher is different between different devices. For android Higher is still 992p. For the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPad Pro higher is 1200-1600p. For example, the iPhone 14 Pro Max higher is also still 992p. Both the Redmagic and ROG 8 Pro is capped at 992p at higher graphic settings.
iPads are the only way to play this game. The consistent crashing and fps drops on phone are no joke down right horrible experience. I have a iPhone 15 PM “flagship phone” and it’s still not optimized. Android and IOS phones L’s

@zenofficial3040 since the M3 was the first chip with Ray Tracing and Upscaling support, the M2 is not recomanded after the M4 release (since M3 not used in any iPad), M4 is more future proof, for the upcomig games (or for the updates on the current games)

If you play with controller than u can choose the option on custom hud sets
You can turn down the opacity of the HUDs. Which makes them harder to see on screen but will defo help with burn in

Sadly not for me. At high or 992p it’s in the low to mid 60s still. Game still has issues with Galaxy SD8g3

@zenofficial3040 since the M3 was the first chip with Ray Tracing and Upscaling support, the M2 is not recomanded after the M4 release (since M3 not used in any iPad), M4 is more future proof, for the upcomig games (or for the updates on the current games)
