The new generation 2 GPU, compared to the last generation in the M2 (hardware RayTracing, for example), has a better neural engine (WWDC will highlight that), Faster RAM and storage, and support for various codecs. If you are keeping for 5-7 years as I do, paying the extra for the M4 will be well worthwhile and a no-brainer TBH.

The gpu green number means the miliseconds it took the gpu to render that frame, it means the gpu could handle 200 fps, but we dont know if the cpu could handle it and it probably would thermal throttle, the M2 takes about 6 ms, so about 150-160 fps. Some interestiing thing too is to see how much battery percentage dropped because it doesnt matter if its fast if the battery will only last 1-2 hours
Idk why people keep saying that WuWa is more demanding than genshin. It is very optimized on my m2 more than genshin. I can play this at max graphics, and only loses 2% for 10-15 mins of session. Meanwhile, genshin eats my battery like lunch, losing 10% for 8-10 mins in just medium settings! Both are set to 60 fps.

Nice video, but I recommend you should have a ambient temperature in your room because Apple very strict in iPad’s thermal management. Maybe high FPS for you but not in some country, especially in Asia which has higher temperature
Ambient temps are 25c. But due to the new cooling for the iPad Pro M4, I’m confident it can maintain 60 fps wherever. This device just isn’t really stressed by this game.
I'd love to see full efficiency comparison when you play a game that has simular graphics across the m2 and m4 models (which both can run at same fps) and measure the power consumption

What? I use the m1 iPad Pro too but I always play on max graphics, yeah sometimes I use it under the ac cuz it heats but only when it’s on charging, otherwise I haven’t got any problem .
i found that playing in a cool place and removing my ipad casing helps in the temperature. but in the end, both are gonna get laggy during heat throttle in warmer weather especially when a casing is used, which most of us will probably have on a tablet...

If you want to test warzone mobile on M4, test before thursday, because after the new update, ypu can download all resources without streaming. That's why in your warzone mobile review about the M2, the device struggle a bit due to streaming and playing at the same time

Some people make the 60hz refresh rate a big deal, which personally I don't mind cuz as I said, budget. But if you want that 120hz and OLED display then go for m4, since it's powerful and an overkill.

Metal HUD resolution is off. With withering waves due to the upscaling you have manually pixel count to get an accurate resolution. Hence, from square dream's tests, the iPad M4 has the bigger resolution.
Yo i got the ipad pro m4 11inch model with 256gb of storage and im getting a really weird glitch with the wuthering waves, i have turn off the screen rotation and the game is rotating alone meanwhile the white bar of the ipad’s ui stands still in a position no matters how many times the game will rotate up or down. If any of you having same issue please let me know

It's up to the developers not Apple. Plus game still hasn't even been optimized for M4 iPad. We have to wait for 1.1 update to see what devs did for the M4 iPad Pro. As of now the M4 is running the same version as the M1/M2 version.

"max graphics" for mobile on WUWA is significantly less demanding than Genshin though
I could be wrong, but WW looks to have better graphics, but this could also be because they are using UE4 while Hoyoverse is using their own engine.
