I just took my m4 iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro back to the store and am sticking with my 2tb m1 12.9” iPad Pro (got it for the same price as the 256 on Amazon refurbished back in 2022). This thing is doing just fine. I want a smaller iPad so I have the m2 iPad Pro 11” refurbished in my Amazon cart right now. I have been an iPad Pro loyalist since 2015! I used it for teaching as a teacher, recording and editing lessons, and as well as creating math problems for online tutoring companies.
I know this is nuts, but for the new keyboard case was the win over the AIR. I know that's crazy, but I am a function row junky. Also that haptic trackpad is awesome.
I recently tried out the iPad Air and iPad Pro at the Apple Store…the Air just didn’t bring me the same feeling of excitement when using it. I hate being such a screen snob when it comes to iPads, but the Pro is worth it to me! TREAT YO SELF 😂
Interesting takes on the iPads and the Magic Keyboard. I’ll disagree though :) (Despite an outrageous price) The Magic Keyboard is probably still good for Air users…simply because it serves their needs well. If someone is a Pro user, and the typing experience is the majority of their use case (as opposed to drawing, gaming, or editing), then there really isn’t much benefit to using the Pro. For people who are truly on a budget or are just looking for a simple tablet, the standard iPad is likely the best value option.
Great video. Have you decided on your colour combination? How were you to get the nano texture version. Looks like they aren’t available till July. Do you think you will keep the nano texture version.
Haha you’re always one step ahead 😉. Nano texture video is probably this week. Man I don’t know how to explain it but it’s definitely intriguing. Stay tuned 👀. Thanks for watching as always!
I got my M2 iPad Pro last year & so glad I did. I’m in NZ so it cost $1500NZ and I was able to use the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil 2. As an illustrator I love having Face ID and 120hz. To me this is the perfect device. If I brought the 11’ M4 iPad Pro it would cost me almost $3000NZ with all the accessories. It’s a beautiful looking iPad but not worth it for me.
The New 13" Ipad Air 2024 still way cheaper than the M2 Ipad pro in my country, I bought it and it's Fantastic, with the Price, Screen size and apple pencil pro compatablity is👌🏻, the LCD panal is really Great, and 120hrz not worth the extra money for me tbh
Just got the Air but the sales person sold me the wrong magic keyboard which was for the ipad pro... guess what, not compatible. Being a new apple user, this was a sour experience.
I agree with you on the display, 60hz in 2024 it’s criminal, huge deal breaker for me, the M2 iPad Pro would be the perfect iPad if it had a faster refresh rate display i don’t really care about the other features on the Pro besides that.
yes because aside from the landscape location of the camera the m2 Pro's and even the m1's are better in most ways like thunderbolt use-c, 120 refresh displays and FaceID. Not to mention much better speakers.
@@TausifHussain it’s just the thicker bezel on the air compared to the pro, it’s honestly not a big deal and i like how extensive you went in the comparison
Also little to no mention on the new Air's regarding having the new location of the front facing camera. This is Hughe for house who do a lot of meeting on Zoom, etc.
It is pure business--upselling. If Apple gave 120Hz to the iPad Air, they likely would see the 9 million expected Pro sales drop by millions. No sensible business would intentionally lose money--for obvious reasons--as the shareholders will want to know why! Apple provides a choice and you have to pay if you want the "pro" features. I am not justifying it, simply explaining the reality of having a good business model.
I truly don't understand why these tech channels are hating on the price. Best display on any device, M4 Chip, 16gb ram, beautiful design. It's like they are enjoying trashing the pro
Yes, many reviewers need to include the point with the pricing. The M4 iPad Pro will be future-proofed and suitable for 5-7 years, even longer, so the yearly value is very reasonable for those who buy it for business. People spend $60,000 on an EV that loses $10,000 as soon as they walk out of the dealers, yet will never complain about the price!
I’m picking iPad Air purely for the fact that the screen doesn’t flicker and give me eye strain headaches like the iPad Pro OLED screen does.

I agree about the Air not making sense if it's not actually lighter than the Pro. Thinking about keeping my 2022 iPad Pro which is fine for my needs.

Exactly 😂😂😂. Bro that air is tough for me to use. I can’t do it.
I did 👍🏻
60hz it’s a huge deal breaker ! Makes your powerful iPad feel slow .
The new m4 pro is very cool. But I am sticking with my 2018 pro. It’s still doing a fantastic job.

What about battery?
Air means it’s the with less pro features. Nothing to do with physical tablet size or width

Sheeesh yeah. Price wise that’s insane. And yeah the m2 pro is such a good choice right now!

Fair enough! I’m sure there’s def a an audience for this! I’m glad it worked for you mate.
Just love ipad air 13 inch
Don't waste your money on pro trust me
If you're not looking at these side my side, the air is fine and you won't notice any issues.
iPad Air mate it’s a great all rounder! And absolutely amazing! Nobody I’m the real world can afford the Pro for everyday use.
Thank you for review, I like the way you compare logically and honestly
I’m glad I could help! Thank you for watching!
Still loving My iPad Pro M1
I’m not an iPad artist but I treated myself with Pro 11”. Air was boring and felt cheap compared to pro.
Nice you got the iPad Pro 🥰. Are you taking about the build quality of the iPad Air M2 11”? What about the iPad Air M2 13”? Thank you.
Just got the Air but the sales person sold me the wrong magic keyboard which was for the ipad pro... guess what, not compatible. Being a new apple user, this was a sour experience.
What kind of watch do you have on?
I want to see the screen mirroring using the iPad and pencil pro on the Mac before I purchase. I want to see a smooth photo video editing
Can you use the iPad and apple pencil to edit smoothly connect to your Mac using all Mac apps via screen mirroring?

Why I feel that iPad Air battery is draining very fast? Atleast its doing for my one
So like instead of buying the air m2, just buy the last gen pro m2?
yes because aside from the landscape location of the camera the m2 Pro's and even the m1's are better in most ways like thunderbolt use-c, 120 refresh displays and FaceID. Not to mention much better speakers.
I think you switched up the m4 ipad pro and the m2 ipad air at the beginning of the video
Oh snap good eye!! Yes you’re right lol. How did you pick up on this. I’m actually impressed.
@@TausifHussain The bezels gave it - I was also alarmed lol
@@TausifHussain it’s just the thicker bezel on the air compared to the pro, it’s honestly not a big deal and i like how extensive you went in the comparison
My dad decided to buy me and my younger sister an ipad. Mine would be 13 inch pro and my sister’s one would be 13 inch air.
Are those a wise options?
New Air will get 120hz just when pro has 240hz 😂
No sound quality test. :(
Also little to no mention on the new Air's regarding having the new location of the front facing camera. This is Hughe for house who do a lot of meeting on Zoom, etc.
Agree not giving pro motion to the iPad Air m2 is criminal such an insult !!!!!! And Apple keeps getting away with this nonsense.

Oh no! Not 60hz!!! The shame of it all. 😂
It’s abhorrent
I truly don't understand why these tech channels are hating on the price. Best display on any device, M4 Chip, 16gb ram, beautiful design. It's like they are enjoying trashing the pro
I hope you’re not talking about me because I’ve been head over heels over this m4 iPad Pro lol
