Thats true but no one plays on uncapped fps, a better test would be to set them on the same settings with the asus phone capped at 80 fps and the iphone capped at 50
If the iPhone is capable of being more powerful than the sd 8 gen 3 but can't because of very bad thermal management we shouldn't consider it more powerful
It won't beat the redmagic or rog 8 Pro due to no software based thermal/power consumption restrictions, but I do believe the A17 Pro can beat the SD8G3 found in Galaxy and OnePlus devices where there are software based performance restrictions. Apple has it too, hence why we see the iPhone dropping down frames despite thermals and GPU/CPU usuage being low. Once power consumption reaches a certain level, performance drops. This is why the S24U performed not so great when compared to the rog 8 Pro
I love Android but I will never pay above $450 for an Android phone, used or new. I prefer iPhone as the latest and the greatest flagship, but I will always need android as a secondary phone.
Optimising for android is like optimizing games for pc. Lot of varieties. Optimizing games for console is easy, just 2or3 hardware, but for pc dozens of combination and drivers. Like that there’re dozens of android devices with various specs, that all in slightly different aspect ratios and needed to be optimized. IPhones are easy for developers, just 4 models each year, 4 devices with same chip and all with same ratio. Many developers said that optimizing apps for iOS is easy for them. But android is required to get its massive user base, just like the PC situation.
I know this video is old, but please explain one thing to me. How is it possible that the ROG phone can get these results, but the Samsung s24 (which is overclocked) can't get anywhere near those FPS numbers? The samsung should be scoring the best. Do you have game booster off or on for the Samsung phones?
GOS is turned off and plugins installed. S24U is being held back by software limitations to Power draw and also OC chip. Overclocking is usually a bad thing as this causes device to overheat faster, throttle, and uses higher power draw.

Simply u should ask why the rog get mor fps than the iPhone and we know that the A17 is better than the sd8gen3 it is because the cooling system that s why it is a gaming phone anyway Samsung always are bad on terms of gaming
SD 8 Gen 3 phones seem to either throttle too soon or get too hot. It seems hard to find a good balance between the two results with non-gaming phones (like the S24 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, etc). Maybe the OnePlus 12 is a better balance?

Numbers are not all do rog and iphone both handle smoothly no stutter? Theres games like u lose 0.1 60 to 59.9 and u feel the stutter so hows here the situation for both?
The test is not balanced, because High graphics + Uncapped gives 120fps, but Peak graphics limits Uncapped at 60fps, so maybe you can do a retest with Iphone with High + Uncapped to show the balance
I play this a lot while im at work, I drove for work and have the AC going to cool down my phone but Ive noticed since this last update that my phone lags when displaying texts and its really annoying. I’m on an iPhone 13pro and will be upgrading to a max 17 if it makes it that far wothout getting worse
Thank you for showing this. Android version is awful, i don't blame the developers. I blame the shareholders for pushing this game before it was even ready for android! And Activision for not having the balls to say NO!
And here the iPhone 15 Pro Max is “worse” at high graphics possibly to the overheating , but I don’t know. The ROG 8 Pro uses 1.2% of the gpu per one fps at high graphics, but iPhone 15 Pro Max only uses 0.92% of gpu per one fps. Makes me wonder how many fps we would get if iPhone 15 Pro Max High graphics would do should near 100% of the gpu be used
Also so Sir, the Rog 8 fps looks a bit low , I play via 55 Inch tv via HDMI -USB C on 1440p 120hz and I did not see so low fps.. either the Red Magic 9 P its lying on fps because sometimes looks slow but fps looks 75 ish .
Hi. While playing the game in any quality, the GPU will be utilized to push max frames at that graphics level. You keep the ROG to Mid graphics for the game, still the GPU would run almost 100 percentage. You would get about 100 FPS avg. The ROG can run high graphics are about 80-90 fps. The test that you did is not an ideal scenario of people while they play the game. They use an external cooler or at least hold the phone on hand to get that back case get some air to breath. The ROG definitely can handle the peak graphics at a little lower fps but definitely better than the iPhone. The inconsistency of the ROG FPS is due to the thermal throttling. Please run the test with the given Aero cooler. It will definitely perform better. The game needs offline assets/maps/operators to perform better. These are definitely doable from the developers.

what app do u use to check the fps of the phones?
Visual quality on Rog8 is only at high. iPhone Automatically wins
he also tested the Iphone 15 pro max at high settings averaging at 75fps , still rog8 wins with average 81 fps.
@@hamadax97 you still can’t play at peak resolution if you have rog 8. Thats a downside. Meanwhile you can’t really tell the difference between 75 and 81fps
not really, after updates I'm sure peak will be available
@@reda497wait for updates, 8 Gen 3 should handle peak easily. They'll unlock in future updates
@@hamadax97yeah, and he also mentioned that the Rog8 uses almost 100% of GPU while the IPhone uses way below that.
What app testing tool do you use
1:35 please how do you get the resolution and the fps graph ?
You gonna check the black shark 5 pro and RM9P?
A17 PRO is just peak.
How about the Redmagic 9 Pro?
I plan to test soon. I have a few more rog 8 Pro tests before I move on
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has better GPU than Apple A17 Pro. But the GPU usage is approximately 100%.
So there are some optimization issues for sure. 😮
Apple pays them to make ios superior 😊
They are both optimized. But Snapdragon 8 gen 3 isnt that powerful as a17 in CPU department. Games mostly rely on CPU more than GPU. And iPhone has the most powerful CPU in smartphone industry. So yeah, you need overall optimization, great CPU and GPU as well
@@tawsiaislam2855 cause apple got the patent for 3nm processor for 2 years from tsmc, from Snapdragon 8 gen 4 they'll get 3nm then we can compare it
GPU is supposed to be at 100%. If GPU usage is not at 100% for games like warzone, that means theres a cpu bottleneck or the game is not optimized for that device
@@nx563 Apple pays to make a good app not to make it superior to anyone else Lol
Why would a third party dev make a worse app just for money? It would only defame them.
How the heck did Samsung with the same chip came out last with only 56 fps and 99% gpu usage!??how’s that even possible!??how!?
Simply u should ask why the rog get mor fps than the iPhone and we know that the A17 is better than the sd8gen3 it is because the cooling system that s why it is a gaming phone anyway Samsung always are bad on terms of gaming
Because the game is not optimize yet for the andriod user
La verdad los graficos del Iphone son notablemente mas realistas, un mejor producto el de apple la verdad
The rog phone thermal throttles then goes down to the 60fps. The s24 ultra probably doesn’t have enough cooling capabilities.
the new asus rog phone design isnt as good as previusgeneration and redmagic is much better for this
SD 8 Gen 3 phones seem to either throttle too soon or get too hot. It seems hard to find a good balance between the two results with non-gaming phones (like the S24 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, etc).
Maybe the OnePlus 12 is a better balance?
@@phothewin6019 gimzo something channel covered up a video on OnePlus 12 upscaling kit and that it actually drains less power when the pixelart chip is activated
S24 Ultra beat them gimmick phones like Noobia and Rog 😂
My Samsung Galaxy S3 mini can easily beat both ROG & Nubia in Warzone with Ray Tracing while using 0.01% of the Exynos powerful processor
Can you compare the price for Iphone 15 (1tb) to ROG phone 8 (1 tb) in usd? Thanks
what app do you use for resolution and fps?
Liked the video bro but one question. You said the iPhone 15 pro max used 70% of GPU usage. Where does it show that?
Check out my latest warzone fps test, I showed in early part of video
The rog is a beast 😮😮😱
Samsung is absolute beast 😮😯😲🤯
Honestly, I wish they could give a peak on android as well but as you could see peak couldn't handle 120fps
When are you going to make the video teaching how to unlock fps in AAA games on the iPhone 15 pro max?
Very soon. I was initially waiting for the m3 iPad Pro but it hasn't come out yet so I'll just continue to make the video without
Can you tell the app name that you used for checking resolution in Android
why are both data and wifi on on ip15promax?
I realized I never turned it off when testing. But I tested it using wifi
Iphone 15 pro max = Overpriced
RoG = Worth it
But in the end
Pc is most worth it.
Why stay at 120 fps for 1 minuts and than drop to 60 hz whit also some bad drops at 40 fps.
I would see the iPhone 15 pro at high grafic, beacause if it stays constant at 75 fps for all the match it is the better device no doubt
How do you check the resolution of each device and on each graphics quality and how do you check the API the game is running on each device
Bro on uncap setting how much fps does iPad Pro m2 give on both high and peak graphics? I was planning to buy it for Wzm that’s why
Man ipad m2 is the best device you can buy to play wzm. You don't have to think twice
Mi iPad air con m1 va super bien
@dame tech please test the gaming performance of Huawei devices like p50,pura 70 ultra or mate 50 and 60
Does the mobile phone get hot after playing for a long time?
I have been using iPhone 13 Pro Max and Samsung S22 ultra for 2 years now.And with my experience I agree with all of your videos. Where are my iPhone 13 Pro Max can run any game at 120 fps my S22 ultra barely even touch 60 fps in any game.
Full support from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
Puedes aser una comparacion entre el rog 8 pro y el s24ultra ?
Can you make a video testing all supported iOS devices FPS on their Max graphics. I have an iPhone XS Max and would like to know what FPS I'm playing on on High graphics.
Better do again a test with the same graphic settings.
All three phones are great!
Is it only me or the graphics looked better on the rog compared to the 15pm
Hello Sir, could do also a Red Magic 9 P ?
Yes I plan to test redmagic 9 Pro very soon
And here the iPhone 15 Pro Max is “worse” at high graphics possibly to the overheating , but I don’t know.
The ROG 8 Pro uses 1.2% of the gpu per one fps at high graphics, but iPhone 15 Pro Max only uses 0.92% of gpu per one fps. Makes me wonder how many fps we would get if iPhone 15 Pro Max High graphics would do should near 100% of the gpu be used
Assuming the situation, I would see the iPhone 15 Pro Max getting easy 90fps and maybe even 100+ fps.
how was the input lag of the ps5 controller?
Why does the iPhone seem a bit laggy at beginning
Loading map and real players vs bots in other test. Plus resolution is at peak. At high, fps performance is very similar to Rog 8 Pro
Game so unoptimised that it becomes benchmark tool
Warzone mobile needs more polishing and better optimization on both systems at least on low end Android devices
hi, could you please test the Samsung s23?
Yes I can do this
@@DameTech thanks man 🤝
ROG 8 PRO has better FPS but lower res, perfect for gamers! But Iphone is more stable at long gaming
Do you have rog 7 ultimate? I'm curious
It's like night and day compared to the iPhone Pro Max!
Is it true that most of the AAA titles are releasing in iPhone right now?
Where is the point of having access to peak graphics when staying at 59 fps ? I think snapdragon 3 gen 3 has more common sense
Will you be reviewing the OnePlus 12?
Como monitorar FPS no iphone ?
I wanted to use the same fps software across all devices
Very curious to see who the s23 ultra might perform here on high graphics. Im guess low 50s to high 40s on average
What controller do u use?
No update here 😅 asking the same thing
Also so Sir, the Rog 8 fps looks a bit low , I play via 55 Inch tv via HDMI -USB C on 1440p 120hz and I did not see so low fps.. either the Red Magic 9 P its lying on fps because sometimes looks slow but fps looks 75 ish .
Thanks to this wonderful video, Soon i will buy ROG 8 it is more chipper than ROG 8 PRO but they are the same Snapdragon 8gen 3.
Rog is the best option for gaming
You could do another test using a cooler.. to see how much it improves 👍🏻 I have bought the fun cooler 2pro and it keeps my 15pm at 13° stable
