Nice video, I got the same controller the gamesir g8, for android, I don't know how you are able to control your right stick that well cause when I aim and moving the right stick it's like so sensitive and I over turn when I'm shooting and I'm having issues with it no matter what sensitivity I use even at the lowest. I even try to adjust deadzone on the gamesir app. I love the controller it's smooth but I can't aim for nothing with it.

No worries it’s a valid question. This video was made before I ever tried Gyro. So yes Gyro is off here.

How can you remap the buttons? Im using a backbone and cant find how to setup the buttons. For example auto tac sprint, slide cancel at analog etc. Any ideas?
Not sure the only remapping I did was through the actual controller. But I didn’t change anything controls wise in game.

My joysticks don’t seem quite right when I move the right stick it’s the most noticeable the left may be fine but I’ve messed with the controller sensitivity and everything it just seems like it’s not tracking correct
I think it’s due to the default deadzone for the sticks in the game and currently there is no way to reduce deadzone sensitivity in game.
Not gonna lie gamesir g8 is the best I program the buttons so I can jump and drop shot people lol
Yessir feels great for a mobile controller.
I have both backbone and gamesir g8. The g8 is much better than backbone tho. But cant mod the back paddles

You don’t need the app. The app doesn’t support the current version of iOS.

I feel like I play better on the Gamesir. But I did just travel recently and the backbone was still fun and small enough to fit in my bag.

I think they should add a dead zone setting. Seems to be my main issue with the aim.

@@SinnerManGaming there’s no other noticeable input lag when it comes to shooting, moving, jumping etc. But the aim seems like it kicks in late when moving the stick and someone mentioned the default dead zone is 15 lol not sure if that’s 100% true but sure feels like it.

This game really looks somehow blurry even at high settings probably because most modern games are using this weird anti aliasing methods, other games may not have the best graphics but they looks *sharp* compared to this

Not all buttons can be hidden I think but I showed where I did it. Go to customize hud click the button you’re trying to hide and there should be a checkbox that says “hide button”
If you go into the in game settings there is an option to have the HUD as controller default, that gets rid of all the unnecessary touch buttons on screen.

I'm confused as to how you are using the controller in white light mode, it only works with green light.
White mode is for iPhone and green for android
Green light is for android.
@@Misaac ahh ok thanks I just got mine 2 weeks ago, was hoping to use it for Warzone Mobile but the right stick feels really sensitive and awkward to use, I'm coming from a PS5 controller where the position of the stick is slightly inward and also the left stick is perpendicular to the right so that might be the issue. I was also having trouble controlling recoil in CoD mobile and Remote play of Apex Legends. Could there be some sort of input delay on the right stick?

You can play on a lower fps if you’re worried lol. I just don’t play for long periods of time regularly.

No. This device uses a USBC connection. You need a controller that supports lightning port for iPhone 13 Pro Max.

You plug it in and you play. That’s the setup. The only extra thing I did was map slide and jump to the back paddles/buttons.

There's barely any input lag, the issue is the default controller deadzone is set to 15% and can not be changed. Possibly the dumbest thing they've done.
Yeah It felt like a dead zone issue but I didnt wanna be wrong if it wasn’t. They should really put a dead zone settings so it could be lowered.
That’s one of the reasons why I didn’t get the controller. Until they don’t add deadzones I will not buy it.
What about the heating issue?
I haven’t had my phone overheat yet. But I also haven’t played more than like an hour, hour n a half. Does get hot but I haven’t had any warnings or shut downs due to heat.

I tried to program my buttons and fucked it up. I don’t know how to rest it either lmfaoo. Waste of money. I googled how to factory reset the controller and I couldn’t find anything
There is a little booklet that come with the controller that give all the information about the settings.
If it's same as the g7, u can just press and hold the m button along with the paddle u want, then press which button you. want the paddle mapped to

Seems like it was way less baked for android. They could’ve just dropped it on IOS first and in Beta or something. Kind of a bummer for those expecting this to run atleast somewhat properly on their device. I’ve seen a lot of complaints. I’ve never been a mobile gamer by any means but it seems like I got lucky owning an iPhone 15 pro max.
I think what they did wrong is to exclude tencent from development of this game
Tencent is one the most popular studio for development mobile games like pubg mobile and cod mobile and the optimisation on those game was flawless
Activision did a nasty move by excluding tencent
