      You can get the mbt2s to pull like the ssa-e with a change of the spring for a lighter pull too, the reset I found on the ssa-e is what makes it marginally better but again just put the ssa-e spring on the mbt2 and you have the same trigger, even the wide he says he doesnt like is on the ssa-e just up front and not the whole circumference.

      @@tacticalfun Geissele is better because they cost more. Geissele used to be even betterer because they used to cost even more. LaRue used to be the best when they cost more, but then they reduced their price and got worser. And, just tp prevent this vicious rumor from spreading, Geissele reducing their price from $250 to $150 has NOTHING to do with thousands of people switching from Geissele to LaRue, which are worser, because they still cost less. NOTHING!

    I get that the mbt isn’t a geissele but I have a cpl of each and the mbt 2 stage is far superior to a mil-spec not slightly better, much better.. The single stage isn’t as good but the two stage is a amazing trigger especially at that price point. The break on it is about 3.5-4lbs and incredibly crisp, I do wish that it wasn’t so fat but some ppl actually like it and it doesn’t effect my trigger pull all that much.. my SSA-E is better certainly, but it’s not like far and away better imo, you’re entitled to yours. I do think it’s annoying that you mention a geisselle trigger and the mbt boys start calling you an idiot for paying that. They are the best and I am willing to pay more to get the g on the trigger shoe, I admit that.. lol

      You see no seams nor cast frosting.

      My point being, your biggest gripe of your argument is the surface quality of non-essential surfaces that you won't see lmao.

    you tried to say it is comparable to MIL Spec which for anyone who has actually shot both knows that is a far far reach lmao. The SSA and MBT are both amazing UPGRADED triggers that feel pretty close in a few ways...

    I got the larue. I shoot daily in backyard and my ddm4v7 lw trigger was tiring my finger during precision fire, so i just wanted something good enough to do what i need. I am good with my stock bcm pnt trigger, psa ept triggers are fine, but the DD are not even slightly improved milspec.. they are milspec milspec. Im sure there better triggers, i dont care. I dont want to most sensitive cleanest pure break.. i found going too outside the envelope on a normal trigger makes going back to a gun with a normal trigger getting used to for a mag or so, dont need or want that. Just want to hit 200 yard gatorade bottles with irons, the larue is way more than enough for this.

Both made by geissele, both are awesome. Buy the best that you can afford and train with it. Also put a rock river 2stage (b4 the controversy) on my AR10 and it’s been solid performance…. I own my own home now 2000 sq ft home on 1-1/2 acres, I get the dirty vibes too from people who never get off the ground. Not my fault, I bust my ass to get where I’m at.
    You do a great job and your opinion matters to me, a real person with a real opinion on quality products
    Btw I have 2 mbt’s and a G I also have some aim surplus drop in that work well too. I like the MBTs on my spr’s but I can shoot faster with 3lb single stage drop in with a flat trigger. So everyone has an opinion and just cuz my preference is different doesn’t make anybody right. It’s what “I” like to use and what works best with me.

      Certain things like optics yes. Often times the price tag makes no difference to you as a shooter without practice and that includes fancy triggers. In this case the vast majority of ppl who have used the larue have also owned the g ssa e and claims are that the larue is almost as good for half the price.

    • @tacticalfun
      @tacticalfun  2 года назад

      @@_JEBUS i know no one who shoots competitive or for a living rhat prefers the larue

    • @2amichaelj
      @2amichaelj 2 года назад

      @@_JEBUS price is usually associated with quality. There are instances where the performance doesn't necessarily equal the price tag but it's hard to argue you typically get a better made product for more money.
      The materials, qc, customer support, and where it's made are the bigger categories imo. The SSA/SSA-E is a better quality, better feeling trigger... period. The LaRue isn't just as good but it's an awesome trigger for a little more than half the price.
      Every tier you go up the less performance you'll get in return for the money but it's still there.
      I'd say barrels, handguards, bcgs, optics and triggers are pretty noticeable to me. Upper receivers, forged lowers, even muzzle devices are probably those products where paying more doesn't get you a lot better. I've gotten out of spec stripped uppers and lowers on cheaper made products but typically any reputable manufacturer or retailer should uphold some sort of warranty or return.
