- In the FIRST episode of Schizophrenic Storytime I share one of my experiences with auditory hallucinations and visual hallucinations. With my schizophrenia diagnosis I often still have hallucinations (even with effective medication and treatment). Please let me know if you'd like to see more of these story times.

I like story time and hope you continue. Schizophrenia has touched my family directly, and it's good to see someone who is upbeat and positive share their experience.
I had this when I saw a party happening across the road, there were cars, people, music, the whole thing. Dogs barking. I looked out My window across the road and woke my mum up to tell her that the party was too loud and annoying me. She proceeded to tell me there was no party and what the heck was I going on about. I started yelling and pointing saying look can't you see the party and hear how loud it is? I even woke my sister up and walked outside. I have schizoaffective disorder and it was such a strange experience as I had hallucinated it all!
I loved this! Short form videos often can’t go into as much detail as long form so hearing even more of this story was great! I look forward to more and good luck finding an editor!
Kody, I absolutely adore you and find you so refreshing! Thank you for being so openly you to the world on RUclips. You're so important. I truly appreciate your contribution to further mental health awareness. Virtual hugs to you, my friend. 🤗

I love these, it really helps me understand what is going on and helps me interact with those going through a crisis
Again man, fantastic video! Keep it up!!

I'm new to your content, but I'd love to see more of these.
Thank you so much for spreading awareness about Schizophrenia my cousins mother had Schizophrenia and she was taken from her mother and lives with her grandmother. Her mother passed almost 2 years ago and i never understood what her mother was going through till now thank you so much
Isnt your "Cousins mother" Just called your "aunt"
She was my cousin and so was her mom her mother I'd my aunt
OK maybe i am wrong cause i am No native english speaker but i thought your aunt is a sister or a sister in law from one of your parents ?
The girl who had schizophrenia, was my first cousin, so her mother would be my aunt and her daughter would be my second cousin.
OK so im right with my First comment
Huge fan, would love to see more!
You're awesome Kody ❤

Keep it up!! Thank you!!!
I have schizophrenia please do more of these
Definitely would like to know how to compassionately interact with someone who's experiencing this, and if and when to do so. Would like to hear how you would've wanted her to act in that situation.
You don't need to ask us - you know we will all show up no matter what you post! ;)
The pain, i feel your pain
Congratulations on being accepted!
All these scenarios brought you to us. Here. Now. So happy I found your tiktoks and love the educating you allow us to be a part of. My girls love your content, especially Magi.
I wanted to ask, do you recall what you said in response to the librarian asking you to leave? And if so what was her response back? Also I just discovered your tiktok today and it lead me here. Schizophrenia is such a crazy thing to think about. (Not in a bad way) It is fascinating how your brain produces these vivid hallucinations and they have full conversations with you. I’ve always wondered how people with schizophrenia interact with hallucinations. I am very thankful I don’t have schizophrenia, (I do however have adhd) however it would be interesting to experience the hallucinations and how people feel during them. Btw Thank you for the amazing content :D
What would be a good reaction of the librarian if she knew what it was about?
Worst case, I wouldn't mind editing your videos. I haven't edited for a RUclipsr in a while and I miss it haha
Have you find an editor? asking for myself 😅
So you mentioned some available shirts ... 😅 How does a gal get her hands on them? 🤠
Genuine question- after youre out of the "hallucinatory state" like once youre looking back, do the hallucinations seem illogical? I know in the moment they make sense but looking back do you ever wonder like how did it make sense at the time?
It’s the same when your having a lucid dream and your like: How did I not realize this was a dream sooner?
@koalaplays8855 ok that makes sense, thank you its very interesting to learn about
I have a question 😩
Are the voices coming from inside or outside the mind. I hear both ways and can have conversation. Or they wake me up. I've seen things, I wouldn't call it a hallucination tho. Or I feel presence around me.
🤨
The voices are probably demons in your case.
I would've been afraid if I were her, just not knowing better. Did you ever go back and explain to her what was going on with you once you were stabilized?
Do you have a discord community? Would love to join
When you become aware that the person you are speaking to is a hallucination, do they disappear or stay around?
I dont understand what he sees. You know it’s not the same as flesh people. They usually appear as ghosts, like see through. Or in a window, like a dimensional window and you only see what is in that window. Idk I’m sure everyone is different but thankfully I wouldn’t think a hallucination is a human.
Why do you consider hallucinating an emergency?
You show have a Personal Care assistant
