I agree with your point if DID and Schizophrenia jokes being mixed up. I am diagnosed with DID and it’s a very much different type of jokes, I love both! 😂
I found the one with the phone calls to be one of the funniest. I have watched your channel but never commented. I swear I found you through Jess Kent, who I’ve watched since she only had 15k! But it turns out I have schizoaffective disorder with my mood disorder being bipolar I. I felt scared at age 17 in psych classes that I was going to develop schizophrenia, not knowing I already had, with paranoia starting it off. The bipolar started a couple of years before. Or maybe they started at the same time and I can’t remember the schizophrenia being a part of it for the first couple of years but yeah. Anyway, I’m glad I’ve been subscribed to your channel and thought I’d say, hey, I’m Amy Catherine. (It was better before they started using handles on here so I didn’t have to say my name all the time..) I hope your other mental health issues get resolved soon and your ‘physical’ health (strange that we separate them since our brains are part of our physical body) also takes a turn for the better and that everything is okay. Good to be here!! I loved the first one with the kid and the one with the band, also! And the Maybe your meds will call you. That was funny. Just the lift I needed to start my day at 7pm bc of other physical issues I’ve being dealing with all day. Thanks!
I came across by chance so to speak (I don't believe in chances) and I think this is such a great channel! I don't know why I never thought of looking for one here. I grew up with a parent suffering from a very strong for a schizophrenia that set me up on a path of wanting to understand the human mind and ended up on a rich spiritual journey. This is helping everyone! 🙂
I'm not diagnosed with Schizophrenia, but I do have hallucinations. Mostly auditorial, but sometimes visual, it usually happens when I'm in a low moment. Though, lately I've been struggling with my Insomnia and was hallucinating Squilliam Fnacyson laughing and degrading me for not being able to sleep.
I just discovered your channel and I had to take a moment to say thank you 🤍 I've been a person who has been living with mental illness for 37 years 🫠 Sometimes I feel like I am the only person on the planet who can laugh about my struggles and who isn't ashamed of who I am and what my struggles look like 🙄 but seeing someone else with my kind of attitude is awesome 😎 it is such a great experience to see someone like you who is educated, proud, understanding and kind 💖 Thank you for all of your content! 🫡 I'm completely sure that you have given others struggling with mental illness courage to stop hiding who they are and be proud of the strength they have gained from living with struggles like ours!🤘🏻 Keep up the great work man 😈💚
That one with the call is so true, i sometimes hear my phone ring, and i’ll pick it up and like no one is there, OR the one with the nemo dialougue is so relatable because when i was younger i would hear something say my name and be like, “come over here” or, “watch out! Its going to hit you!” And i would always talk back to it like i was hearing my thoughts or something. Took me a while to realise what was actually happening
I didn’t know it was that rare for childhood schizophrenia! My friend’s boyfriend has schizophrenia and one of their twin daughters was diagnosed with it and she’s 10 😳
I definitely hallucinate really, really good music. It drives me crazy that I can’t listen to it again.
I can only dream it, but when I wake up I forget. The times I've remembered them it sounds so much worse when I try to play it.
I hallucinate heavy metal music and I hate that style drives me crazy
I don't have schizophrenia but I think it's a sort of OCD, where I keep making and listening music in my head almost all the time.
