@@TwistedWheels Hi mate, I'm considering a similar gravel build at the moment with the deda fork. I was wondering where the special wedge goes that is supplied with the fork? I've read on some forums that the fork only works with a 1,5'' steerer tube, which I couldn't believe after seeing ur video and the aethos not matching that standard. Also the deda website says that the fork is compatible with tapered 1'' 1/8' - 1,5'' steerer tubes. Thanks in advance!

    • @TwistedWheels

@@TwistedWheels awesome, thanks! I'm currently negotiating the final details with the frame builder. And I'm undecided between the EDG and the curvy fork. Love this build. Custom paint and IMHO the internal cable routing is what makes the build so special (super clean, less is more!). I recently bought an S-WORKS SL6 rim brake off FB marketplace and have managed to get it down from 7.4kgs to 5.4kgs with pedals. Would be insane to see what you could do with a rim brake bike (I'm sure you could get it to the mid 4kg's with ease, maybe even sub 4kgs?!).

What is your view of the disc rotors? I worry about so much gaps, I often go with more steel on them as feel it brake better
Thanks for showing me the saddle, I was originally looking at Selle saddles but forgot where I saw a carbon saddle and titanium rails of reasonable light weight so I might get your saddle choice

@Twisted Wheels - I have a follow up question - 1. Which dedaccia fork ? Is it the Road EDG/DCR fork or the Gera DCR? 2. What are the spoke sizes for inboard / outboard, front / rear, for the extralite hubs / light bicycle wheels? Thanks in advance for your help! I won’t have to sell my bike should specialize decide to release a full ICR aethos in the future. LOL
