It takes many hours to remove the paint but it's worth it . I went a little insane with my spark and made it single speed at under 6kg .I have since added gears so will be weighing it soon .

I like your build (once again) a lot, especially the clear coat design of the frame! If you don't mind, I'd had some questions about some of your chosen parts: 1. Which bottom bracket (manufacturer) did you choose? 2. is it possible to buy carbon plate from bjorn cycle separately to tune the Fox transfer or did you use one from a seatpost? 3. Can you tell me which after market clamps and bolts you've used? Would appreciate a reply!
Thanks :) 1. I am using Raceface double seal 2. Unfortunately, no 3. They came one of the no-name chinese seatposts. You can use any with the round section
Nice and clean build. I have to wonder if you're trying to thread that line between durability and lightness. Have you had any parts break? Do those rims hold up to rock gardens or riders over 200 lbs? The tires look paper thin. The seat looks really cool, but how do you feel after a few hours in the saddle?
I’ve done a 7-day Bike Transalp race on this bike. No parts have broken and it performed great. The only thing I’d change is replace brake rotors with Trickstuff. Otherwise super happy with the setup.
damnn you got balls to do holes and stuff in brand new handlebar and headset .... I cant do these kind of stuff with my brand new hardwares really liked all your content about scott spark upgrades ... and built my bike around 10.5kg .. with not so light components
Im just wondering ... I remember seing you using a black marker to hide the writings on the tires... is it something specific for bikes, or just a black marker you can find anywhere !? Thx in advance 😉✌️
Best take I have from this video is that you can buy a full bike, sell the parts and be left with a cheaper start point for your dream build. A better alternative to just buying the frame on its own.
@@TwistedWheels ah I’ve seen them around! I might get them for my gravel bike - I mostly do road and single trail with it, and will keep the fidlock on the mountain bike, love that system!

How did you remove the stickers from the handlebar ? I can see that you're scraping with a knife, but it leaves lots of scratches, yet when you look at the handlebar again, it's smooth and clean. I've got this handlebar too, and I can't get the stickers off without scratching it.
Really nice build, congrats! Just one thing: Doesn't the brake cable rub on the fork when compressing/uncompressing? Would be a shame to ruin that nice black coating!
