As a brazilian who watches this channel religiously since 2019, I can finally say that I feel very well represented and proud about a TPC Top 10 list 😎😂 And yeah, Insano and Kilimanjaro rock! I gave up going down Insano as a kid (I was already midway up the stairs and chickened because of the beating heart loop and the warning creepy messages) and now I feel like it's my duty to go back to Fortaleza and give it a ride.
Waterslides are a very underrated attraction, everyone always talks about Rollercoasters and the like, but a good slide is nothing to scoff at. Personally, if I rode number two and felt myself being pulled down, I think I would have a panic attack.
We have something extremely similar in Germany and it was always really scary as a young teenager. Sometimes you got Stück and couldn't evade other people and they crashed into you. I always had a bunch of blue bruises after going on that thing haha
I can confirm number 2 is far from a pleasant or thrilling experience if you are not a fan of getting drowned on purpose. It is located at my local tiny water park and I would never ride it again.
I can’t believe summit plummet is on here 😂 I remember doing that as a kid and not even being bothered! I do remember the speedometer too and thought that was the coolest thing ever
I remember when I went to on it as a kid, when I got up to the top, I was really scared of it because of how high up I was , but then I thought “ Screw it” and decided to do it. After I got off, I realized that there was nothing to be scared of and from that point on, I could do anything.
I really appreciate the disclaimer at the beginning! That's all I wanted when covering parks in the middle east, thank you so much :) Also, I love summit plummet. I rode it so much the last time I went there, that I started viewing it as just a means to get around, and the adrenaline started to not affect me LOL
I can understand why he put that disclaimer. But honestly, how would a government like Qatar would use that video as promotional material? I mean, they might even recognise the video and would better off just leave it as it is. But overall, quite a fine disclaimer. 😏
The most intense water slide I've done was "The Fall" slide on Rise of Icarus at Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells. My only problem with that slide is that the water was freezing.
@@christianortiz-v1l yep. and the price they want for bowling is INSANE. we went into town and did Asgard Axe Throwing (they have an arcade in the basement and INSANELY good pizza) and for bowling we did Alpine Lanes. far, far cheaper

@christianortiz793 Two questions about the Dells. 1. If you were to go to the Dells in the middle of winter, would you go to GWL, Kalahari, or Mt. Olympus? 2. What is the best resort with waterpark/standalone water park at the Dells indoor and outdoor?
Anf I just love how you include parks all over the world. When I clicked on this video i was afraid it was going to be mostly about the most popular slides.
As a (partly) Hungarian, I can say that the turbo is one of my all time favorite slides. Last time we went there I went down the turbo like 30 times. I think I will never find it boring.
Late to the party but one of the most intense waterside I ever did was called Colorado Rafting at Mont Saint-Sauveur water park in Quebec. Is basically a rafting simulator as a waterside. It has ramps, but as all hell, get splashed with water. There are handles that you have to grab on for dear life. They even make you wear a helmet for it!
This video comes just in time for Planet Coaster 2 eve! I'm so excited for the game, and I'm definitely drawing some ideas from this video for my future parks on PC2.
The most intense slide I've been on is the Colorado River Rapids at Mountain Creek Waterpark. As one of the surviving attractions from Action Park, you're thrown into a solid 3 minutes of airtime, intense rapids, and constant slamming into the concrete walls as you navigate the course. For a long time, it was required that you wore a football helmet as not to slam your head against either the low ceilings of the dark cave section, or the people in front of you.
I have been on a waterslide before. It wasn't as crazy but it was intense. I could only imagine the pain for the people who got airtime on those slides.😵💫
There‘s a similar warerslide like the Wildbach where i live and i can tell you - it IS terrifying to suddenly dip underwater in the middle of a waterslide
An honorable mention I'd like to nominate is any of those dueling slides that twist around each other like DNA. I went on one at Raging Waters in Sacramento, CA and it felt like landing flat on your back followed by being waterboarded while slamming your hips side to side over and over again. 2/10 too much airtime for an enclosed waterslide.
I totally agree! I took a spiral waterslide in Sweden when I was 11. It required you to wear a HELMET and cross your arms and legs. Which should have told me something... Five seconds in, I was going so fast, that the water my feet sprayed up hit my face so hard I COULD NOT keep my eyes open. Waterboarding is a fair comparison! I lost all sensation of being up or down, and this worsened when I had to shut my eyes. I was just being centrifuged, while water whipped and pounded my face. I emerged in some kind of seizure-like condition. Couldn't talk without slurring my words, couldn't stand on my own, had a hammering headache, and started vomiting. I was like that for a few hours after. Turned out that the slide triggered my brain into developing the worst possible, full-blown migraine attack in the span of just a few seconds. Crazy! I have had a fear of tube-type waterslides ever since.
Great video, but a few slides are missing that would be worthy of this list. Turbo Twisters at Myrtle Waves: 100ft tall dark speed slides with one being the most intense I’ve tried in America, with near blackout g-forces. Cycloon at Tikibad: a 45mph bowl slide also with insane g-forces, the 3rd most intense I’ve tried. And the most intense is Tyfoon at Tikibad. This slide has an arc into a super tight and long spiral with forces so high I completely greyed out and nearly blacked out. I slid it in 2019 and still haven’t been on anything as intense to this day.
Awesome video as always Theme park crazy those waterslides look very intense especially Devil’s peak and Turbo Blitz very cool keep up the excellent work 😎👍😊✅😁🙂💯
Cool video my most favorite waterslide on this list was vertigo also that icon that looks so epic also thank you for making this video very informative!😊👍
Jumeirah Sceirah at The Wild Wadi is the most insane water slide I've ever been on they've knocked it down now and replaced it with a less crazy one with the same name but the original was really special.
The disclaimer in the beginning of the video just shows that you're a class act person. May your videos blow up 10 times more and you get the recognition you deserve!
Especially considering how almost 2-3 slides in a row really did showcase flashing colors and lights. I'm not even eptileptic and I appreciate that warning for not only the small migraines/headaches I may get, but for those who do suffer from the condition in worse ways.
I enjoy the waterslide content so much more than coaster content because I feel like I already know so much about coasters from watching you, El Toro Ryan and other RUclipsrs. But I know virtually nothing about waterslides, so it's a lot more exciting to learn about them.
Cobra at Alpamare in Switzerland is also one extremely insane and intense slide. It starts of with very tight turns, then it goes into a little dip that is shaped like an S-Turn, it completely throws you into the other side of the slide (it doesn't hurt). After that it goes into a crazy intense helix that pulls what feels like 4g (not really though). then it has another dip, a quick straight section another S turn and another dip into the final run-out of the slide. The slide is so fast and its over so quickly.
Cobra was one of the highest candidates on my Bucketlist, and finally, I made it to Alpamare last friday: Man, this thing is truly unhinged - nothing less than my new number one waterslide! 😊
That #2 slide is terrifying. Hitting the water at the end is the worst part of a slide and I love them! No thanks to being forced under HALFWAY THROUGH.
Back in the spring of 2016, my family and I went to Blizzard Beach while we were at Disney for spring break. My sister really wanted to ride Summit Plummet, but it was closed for refurbishment when we were there. Oh well. Maybe next time I go (whenever that is), I'm sure it'll be open for us by then. Also just an FYI, Turbo Blitz is easily a hard no for me for that one tight turn. If I ever rode it, my biggest fear would always be breaking my arm on that turn so maybe it's for the best LOL
Some people actually appreciate the warnings in order to prepare ahead for audio only. It's a good thing. Some channels aren't courteous enough to do that.
Honestly this video has awakened my fear for waterslides. I love me a good out of control feeling coaster but I will not get into waterslides that seem to crazy as it honeslty scares the crap out of me
I went to Perfect Day at CocoKay! It was a blast and I enjoyed it on my birthday cruise!!! What I really like about the Daredevil’s Peak is how fast you go down the waterslide. When I got off, my reaction was huge and it was super fast. I had no idea what was going on with my mind but this was the best slide I’ve ever went on. That’s why I love it even though that you can take the plunge on Daredevil’s Peak Slide.
With 15, I rode the "old" Blizzard (at this time, it was called "Grüner Hai" - green shark in english) without expecting it to be so freaking intense. After the landing, I was just like "What on earth was THAT?!?" 😂 Turbo Blitz also was brutal - the forces came so abruptly 😳
I went on my first trapdoor slide at soak city at Valleyfair in Minnesota this summer. That shit was way more terrifying than any of the coasters there.
I’ve been on Thrillagascar, and it is by far the most intense drop I’ve ever been on. It just keeps going and the speed is so fast that the water hurts your feet!
@ThemeParkCrazy Thank you for the video. I,m a big fan of the current water slides/rapids Those are more common in Europe yet still rare. It would be awesome if the could be a video about these in the future!
Ever since I seen the planet coaster 2 trailer I've been craving water slides, and at the same time your videos about water slides. But at least I got to go to Lagoon-a-Beach this summer. PS without your videos I would not have known about stuff like coaster enthusiast and specifically stuff like the word for LSM or French braids.
This really made my day. Just randomly watching a water slide video recommended by RUclips when I suddenly see my local tiny Czech water park nobody has ever talked about before on number 2 spot 😲I had no idea how famous this slide actually is. But honestly... I go there multiple times every year but I rode that slide only twice. For the first time when I was a kid and I hurt my leg so that I had trouble walking for a month. For the second time maybe two years ago as an adult and good swimmer and if it wasn´t for the ropes, I would drown. It was the worst feeling in my life not being able to get above the water because of the current. When I talked about it with some of my friends, most of them had a similar experience. They turn the slide on only once an hour for a limited time so that a life guard can specificaly watch the small pool and help people in case of drowning. At least now I know that it was not only my weakness and I think it well deserves the spot. As a country with no coasters I can at least say we have one of the most intence water slides in the world. But no I am definitely not riding it again.
Water slides can be the most terrifying thing on the planet, but I still like them. I once rode a water slide on my back, endearing the water bowl park, I hit my back so hard I thought I broke it LOL😅
I used to love waterslides as a kid, and although I don't go swimming that often anymore I still savor those moments! BTW I'm a longtime subscriber of your channel! Since the failed coaster video of vertigo at Walibi Belgium
One that I'd put in the list is Ramubrinká also at Beach Park in Brazil. It's very similar to Daredevil's Peak, but it's completely dark inside the tube, you lose completely the sense of direction and where you are! And since the drop is a continuous helix it gets very intense, I'd say that was almost as intense as Insano tbh
Could we get a countdown for the most visually pleasing water slides? There are some very pretty slides out there both in slide design and surrounding scenery
Aaaaaa, Blizzard Beach. That brings back some memories. Mainly of me riding Summit Plumit and my swimsuit being *buried* up my ass by the time I got off it.
2:27 Oh my god, next time you think how stupid it is to be made to cross your legs, rewatch that. First and third had them crossed. Second didn’t, and even lifted his legs. I really thought he was going to get injured but somehow he came out okay. Just barely, I’m guessing.
I assure you, some of the slides at El Vergel in Tijuana would move some off this list if more people knew about it. There were two that were ‘never agains’ for me, and their drop slide (that looks like any other) has such a steep intro drop that you don’t touch slide for the main drop until it starts leveling out.
Most of these slides are on my WATERSLIDE Bucket list. tho one I WISH you would've included was L2! A DOUBLE LOOPING waterslide in Austria! That is #1 on my Bucket list right above Kilimanjaro!
Really surprised Ko'okiri Body Plunge at Volcano Bay didn't make the list. 125 foot tall drop door slide. Nearly gave me a heart attack when I rode it!
I’ve done the Devils Tower slide complex and they are all intense. I went on a day where there was little to no wait so I also got a great cardio workout climbing all those stairs.
Wildbach looks downright dangerous, but I'm incredibly curious how it would actually feel. Every other slide just looks awesome, especially Vertigo. A 40-second trapdoor slide in a clear tube is unreal!
Wish Deep Water Dive at Kentucky Kingdom would have made the list. It had the hight record before Thrillgascar, except for it is more exposed. Both the tower and slide are fully exposed to the elements so you can take in the hight. This trap slide is taller than any coaster in the park. And watching the whole park as you drop without any restraint or barrier is a surreal experience. Gives one hell of a wedgy at the bottom though.
Fun fact, another intense water slide would be in Germany called X-Treme Faser, in Galaxy Erding Water Park. There's quite a bit of controversy in regards to why.
Yup, the blizzard at Miramar was absolutely insane before they "retracked" it. Before, it had a short straight section in it that made you level out after the first curve, slamming you in the second one like crazy. Nowadays it's a long curve to the bottom. Still really intense tho!
The most intense waterslide I've been on was in México, at Atzimba water park, in Zinapécuaro, Michoacán. It was made of concrete, and some sections were kinda rough. You were supposed to ride on a mat. I was a kid, so I went down twice with my dad. We didn't make it to the bottom either time. The first time we had to leave the slide half way down. The second time I hit my head, and we lost the mat. We had to walk the last part of the slide, but I had already scraped my back, ankles, knees and elbows, and I had lost part of my swimsuit.
One Slide that I think should have been included or mentioned would be the "X-Treme Faster" at therme erding in Germany. Keep in mind that every waterslide in Germany comes with a age restriction, although most "turbo" or more extreme slides are 12+. Xtreme Faser has a minimum age of 14 iirc but even more interesting is the fact that due to it's very harsh landing/splashdown only men are allowed to slide. Personally I remember the old blizzard at mianmar having a similarly extreme ending, since both can end up having you skim the water surface for a bit before actually coming to a stop and both left me with some bruises afterwards. I haven't experienced the blizzard since it's renovations but the old one still counts as one of just very very few things that made me nervous and anxious before doing them for the first time.
I would say the most intense slide is 360 Rush at Spring Valley Beach. You trap door into darkness and come out in a large bowl! The SMOOTHEST speed slide I have ever rode! Honorable mention is Free Fall at Alabama Adventure for intense pain that slide gave me!
My most intense water slides are Hurricane Hole at Splash Lagoon in Erie PA, as well as one of the Bermuda Triangle Slides at Waldameer’s Water World (Specifically the middle one). I rode one of the slides next to Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach but if I ever go there again I want to try that 120 foot drop!
The slide at Margaritaville in Jamaica is probably the most intense I’ve been on. Steep straight section then a very sharp turn that drops you into the ocean. Smashed my head on it shooting out but it was super fun. Pretty sure there wasn’t an engineer involved in its design!
I've only been on the Blizzard in Germany, its a 2h drive from me as honorable mentions I would also add Ko'okiri Plunge at Volcano Bay and the Free Fall at Galaxy Erding

And BTW the name of the slide is "divoká řeka" which translates as a wild river. The name you are using is probably a German translation.
It’s a Theme Park Crazy and Airtime Thrills double feature today!
I find it so funny that u brought blizzard up 😂 I’m German and I go to Mira at very often blizzard really is a good slide
Oh dang…I’ve seen pictures of the complex that vertigo is a part of, but I didn’t think it was real!
Water slides can be the most terrifying thing on the planet, but I still like them. I once rode a water slide on my back, endearing the water bowl park, I hit my back so hard I thought I broke it LOL😅
Love the mention of Daichi Miura's Blizzard haha
The last slide is on my bucket list.
I used to love waterslides as a kid, and although I don't go swimming that often anymore I still savor those moments! BTW I'm a longtime subscriber of your channel! Since the failed coaster video of vertigo at Walibi Belgium
Hoosier here, I've been in Anaheim CA, and the hotel I stayed had a pretty insane slide. Nobody can deny that.
I really hope you do a full video on Aquatar, i'm so fascinated by it and would love to see a theme park fan cover it in full.
Holy shxt...i thought Summit Plummit was too freaky for me. These are NUTS 😂😂😂
Just would like to give a shoutout to Black Hole at Wild Mountain! Speed slide that sends you underground into the dark
You have got to include a slide called ‘Leap of faith’ in the bahamas atlantis resort on this list. it’s absolutely insane.
I'm surprised not to see Tai Nui at Volcano Bay in the list, definitely more intense than Summit Plummet
It is located at my local water park and it feels like drowning. Not anything I would recommend lol.
5:50 makes me think of that one waterslide eddy and ed built trying to convince edd that it was still summer
YEY! New Theme Park Crazy!
Gotta love water slides
Fun fact, another intense water slide would be in Germany called X-Treme Faser, in Galaxy Erding Water Park. There's quite a bit of controversy in regards to why.
I’m kind of shocked Verruckt wasn’t on the list. But then again it was dangerous.
I was at Hershey Park yesterday and I rode candymonium and wildcat's revenge for the first time and I love them both
Yup, the blizzard at Miramar was absolutely insane before they "retracked" it. Before, it had a short straight section in it that made you level out after the first curve, slamming you in the second one like crazy. Nowadays it's a long curve to the bottom. Still really intense tho!
Waterslides freak me out more than any coaster 😂
I haven't experienced the blizzard since it's renovations but the old one still counts as one of just very very few things that made me nervous and anxious before doing them for the first time.
the turbo blitz crying rn
I would say the most intense slide is 360 Rush at Spring Valley Beach. You trap door into darkness and come out in a large bowl! The SMOOTHEST speed slide I have ever rode! Honorable mention is Free Fall at Alabama Adventure for intense pain that slide gave me!
After I watched the video I started booking a trip to Brazil
Deep Water Dove at Hurricane Bay in Kentucky Kingdom should get an honorable mention, it’s a drop slide over 120 feet
The most intense slides I’ve ever done are the Kamikaze and Turbo slides at the Faliraki water park in Greece
Yay! I’ve been waiting for this one
I've only been on the Blizzard in Germany, its a 2h drive from me
as honorable mentions I would also add Ko'okiri Plunge at Volcano Bay and the Free Fall at Galaxy Erding
