Riding Shockwave while standing backwards wasn't ideal. I tried it because the park offered it to us during ERT. Needless to say, when I heard the ride operator instruct us to NOT put our faces flat against the headrest as it could break our noses, I wasn't expecting this to be awesome. We were also told that hugging the center post would make for an easier ride, which is exactly what I did, as you can see in the picture of the train leaving the station. I am hugging that support and not letting go. Lol. To be honest, it didn't help make for a better ride. Riding while standing backwards provided a very, very rough experience. Facing forward, I didn't have a single issue. I enjoyed the ride a lot. Not while riding backwards. Not recommended if you get the chance. Also, coaster RUclipsr @davidjellis has taken part in several of the nude record breaking rides if I am not mistaken.

I knew the Polar Express-Gravity Group one. Voyage at Holiday World is essentially real life Polar Express: terrain usage, airtime, the use of PTC trains resembles the use of a "1927 Baldwin S23 locamotive" (that's what I think they said it was) just because of the fact that the general design of PTC's chassis date back that far, and that's not even discussing the fact that it's in a town called Santa Clause.

But DAMN- the US has nothing when compared to the insane wait time of 12.5 hours for The Flying Dinosaur at Universal Studios Japan back in 2016. I do know that parks can inflate the wait time to make it look longer than it may actually be, but 12.5 hours is nuts.

Similar to a swing where you dont feel like you are sitting on a wall, even tho you are tilted at 90 degrees. The G forces that keep you in the swing are the same that push you into your seat when you go through a looping or a corkscrew, it feels very natural.
Airtime moments, where you are lifted upwards while going over the peak of a Hill feel much scarier in my experience :)

As a Brit who has been to Thorpe Park for many a year now and went about 5 times last season, the BO thing on number 15 is a myth. I have been going for the past 15 years and cannot remember thosesigns or anything BO related at all

That’s crazy that gravity Group worked with Zemeckis on the Polar Express scene before they ever opened their first coaster. Hades debuted the year after
By the way, I’m totally going to make some type of coaster in RCT3 that goes around animal exhibits now.

Imagine riding a coaster naked with strong airtime moments. An RMC naked would be hilarious. Everyone's teets rising in symphony.

10:02 Wow, that’s really interesting. I didn’t realize that Gravity Group designed it. I guess it explains why they animated the airtime so well, also that wicked double down in the scene.

Really surprised the 2 attempts of driving a rollercoaster on roller skates in Tripsdrill Germany wasnt on this list. But great video nonetheless!

Similar to the cars on Python and Big One, at Tripsdrill, a guy rollerskated down their Mammut and Gsengte Sau coasters for a german TV show

As a Polar Express fan, I would pay money to ride a Gravity Group roller coaster. All aboard!
