Wow that Queen Suite silde looks like if the Flash would ride it. but in all honesty, Wally West might be the fastest man alive but This japanese water silde looks hilariously stupid.

I don’t like you
I wanted to personally say a Big Thank You for the best and most unusual videos. I love each and every one of them. I grew up at Action Park (then was) here in NJ back in the early 70's. It actually started as a Skate Board Park, Alpine Slide (no track), roller skating, horseback riding, and dune buggy ride place. Very out-doorsey but no real waterpark. When they started playing around with the mountainside and plastic they started creating some very odd slides. Aside from the Loop d' Loop, they had One Huge Piece of Rubbery Plastic simply pulled alongside the mountain pitch. They had previously dug out a few different rows in the soil to create grooves for each rider....easy up to difficult. I of course had to hit the difficult from the very start. The Loop d' Loop is one of the very few I have ever stayed away from....it just didn't feel safe at all and there was NO trap door when it first opened. No way at all. - Cheers and Keep up the Great work. Much Love - Kathryn
My jaw DROPPED at the fly over. if you need that many safety precautions, I don't think it should have ever opened lol.
Straight facts, I am glad that slide is gone tbh.
Yea, it's definitely one of those things that really only existed to serve as a cool feat of engineering. Like a fun science experiment. But for everyday use it was just kinda....dumb.
Yup some people are crazy enough to say it’s safe lol that’s why we had places like action park n stuff (also your noodle pfp is cool)
Fr 😭
I went to Duinrell a couple of times as a kid. I was too young to go on that slide but it scared the shit out of me.
First of all, regarding the disclaimer, I’m always glad to see you treat serious topics with the respect they deserve. There are a lot of RUclipsrs who gladly would rather be controversial to drive clicks.
You’ve also done something extremely dangerous by telling me about the Japanese love hotel slide. I’ll have to keep that in mind for when my fiancé and I go to Japan in a couple years 😂😂
I was looking for a comment that mentions the disclaimer and I completely agree, all other channels with waterslide accidents or bad designs include veruckt
Fly-Over already sounds terrifying enough in concept, and that's without getting into the fact that the slide is made out of what appears to be semi-transparent blood-red plastic!
Seriously, the video snippets you showed look like scenes from a horror movie, especially how relatively slowly the person gets dragged through the tube, only appearing as a dark silhouette pressed against the translucent wall.
Just looking at it gives me the heebie-jeebies.
I can only imagine the panic that some people felt once they were inside
I mean, all waterslides are made of plastic, dude.
😢
@foreverconfusedd7949 😂😂😂
I suppose red plastic wouldn’t show blood. But yes, I’m claustrophobic enough that most of the slide mentioned do not sound like fun to me.
I think the Fly-Over’s concept should be revisited at some point. Just give people some scuba gear, make the slide bigger and put it into an aquarium to simulate scuba diving or something. There is a good idea there, it just wasn’t executed very well.
Ooh like an underwater Lazy/Rapid River?
Or maybe fill it with flowing water but still room to breathe, like a narrow lazy river?
But also make it a clear slide and maybe where you can see fish?
That sounds like fun
I’m the Fly Over’s number one defender. It’s a terrible idea, but I can’t help but adore the science aspect of the slide. I wish I could’ve ridden it, just to see how “terrible” it really was!
Yeah something about it makes me want to try it. It's like a different kind of scary for a ride
I sooooo wish I would’ve been able to ride it.
Number one in Action park was featured in the Jackass film
It could probably work for a much shorter slide, but I doubt any modern waterpark's legal team would allow it. Too much of a liability for sure
@@runic_raptor I don't know about that.
They did seem to have every precaution possible in place, including the swim test before even being allowed on it.
I do think an age limit was probably a good idea as well - a panicked child is never a good thing - but I don't know about 14. My kids, even as young as 10 or 12, would have loved it!
I'm glad you didn't put Verruckt on this list, and not just out of respect for a dead child. Verruckt wasn't so much just bad, it was a case of straight up malignant neglect. A bad slide might cause minor injuries or show you a bad time. Verruckt *killed* someone. It was in a league all its own, and not in a good way.
Yeah especially since there were so many setbacks and delays because of safety concerns and they were like, "well screw it anyway", it makes my stomach turn knots
I have 0 knowledge in waterslides but if i we're to design one there would be quite a few twists and turns and would be constantly be going down at a 10 degree angle at most so it would be simple and safe.
I had a friend that moved to my small town in Texas in the late 80’s from New Jersey. He would always talk about the slide with a vertical loop and I assumed he was making it all up until decades later when all these Action Park documentaries and podcasts started happening. I’m sorry that I never believed you, Pat!
I'm from here and it's absolutely wild to me that this local water park is internationally famous. I went there dozens of times, lmao.
Everything you read about Action Park is true, I saw it all, it was the best park that ever existed.
@@SAVikingSAsomeone died there and they covered it up. There’s actually a documentary about this where the teenagers that got to have not rules against freedom remember it as great while others that got injured or had family members injured Remeber the founder as a crazy lunatic(which he was)
Everyone talking about how dangerous Flyover looks and then there's me thinking what an ironic naming concept for something completely submerged underwater..
It’s a miracle that no one managed to drown or get seriously injured for number 3. You couldn’t pay me enough to want to experience that.
Ditto.😮 I hate going under water and I'm not that good a swimmer, nor can I hold my breath that long.😮 I'd sooner ride Summit Plummet, and I hate heights,😅😅
Yeah
I love the random sass out of nowhere in the videos, especially in the love hotel water slide segment.
7:14
That joke caught me off-guard, nicely done
that is a wild joke lol
I'm glad someone else heard it
The thought of the Fly Over slide really makes me uncomfortable.
The single video that exists of it makes it look like something out of the movie Saw. Just a shadow very slowly squirming through a red tube that’s completely submerged in water.
The Flyover is perfect for those who want to know how Agustus Gloop felt when he got sucked up the pipe in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
I don't think I have too many 'phobias', but "Flyover" had me going "NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE" and curling up the whole time you described it.
Same lol
Omg yes
It’s terrifying but o actually have seen it I had a friend go on it and he made it through but I could not go on it especially about how you have to also manually crawl through it and imagine trying to recreate that now
Flyover looks like what will happen if you fall into an intake pipe at a dam. results in drowning 99% of the time.
When it's got you, it's got ya.
Delta P... difference in pressure.
A lot of these rides just make me say "What were they thinking?!", Cannonball Loop looks like they asked a group of 8 year olds to design a water slide
That’s Action Park as a whole in a nutshell
Well close, it was the owner of Action park who designed it. A person with no engineering skills.
Yeah that’s not far off! Look at the park it was in 😂
@@RAdaltonracer I was there a couple of times back in the day.
The minute you mentioned that Action Park was uninterested in that particular water slide my first thought was. “If Action Park thinks it’s too scary, that water slide is waaayyyy to crazy!” In its original hay day Action Park earned the nickname Accident Park. It changed hands and became more safety conscious but apparently those who weren’t horribly injured or killed were quite fond of it accidents and all.
I figure the Action Park looping slide from the 80s had become such a legend that they figured they could capitalize on it by building "that, but safe!" but then realized that it would actually be too unpleasant an experience for anyone to enjoy it.
I went to Action Park multiple times as a kid and it's one of the few things in life where no amount of internet hype can properly describe it. You just had to be there.
Welcome to Traction Park!
Traction park….class action park… so many memories and more memories I can’t seem to remember for some reason 🤔
@@Merrick081087 those are great!
I'm glad the Fly-Over had so many rules to use it, because that's just TERRIFYING. I'm honestly shocked no one drowned in that!
I worked that waterslide the cannonball loop, I can tell you tons of stories about it
Feel free to send me an email at themeparkcrazy1992@gmail.com !
I've definitely had a nightmare about a water-filled water slide... I couldn't believe it when I saw that one actually existed.
I am hungarian and I can confirm that the turbo slide Is One of the craziest slide ever, it's extremely fast and also very fun. Definetely recommend it!
I really respect you for not including Verruckt. Thank you.
yeah that disclaimer and the fact that it had no audio, i feel, was the appropriate way to handle what had happened. Horrible horrible tragedy
i mean, drawing attention to how dangerous it was isnt exactly disrespectful.
"Underwater waterslide 1 isn't safe!"
It was safe😂😂 it's not even the wors what the netherlands have 😂😂😂
No, that would be the love hotel slide. That is the kind of thing where the raft would go flying and explode.
I'm from New Jersey, and I can definitely say that I'm fascinated with the history of Action Park. You should make a video of that place in the future because it definitely deserves a video on your channel TPC!
We have family friends from NJ, and I’ve also been to Six Flags Great Adventure a few times (haven’t been since they changed the animal park part).
@@wintersprite low key someone should do a doc on the early days of the safari at Great Adventure. They had baboons tearing cars apart, rhinos charging them, it was insane. A baboon climbed inside our car and was running around like a maniac.
0:30 NO not the roller coaster at alton towers...

Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.
Water Slide 1 looks too intense for me
Five mad movie makers coming here is crazy
I heard the rafts sometimes explode!
Ideas for most intense water slides video:
Turbo Blitz at Kristall Palm Beach: Slide with a turn so intense that no one under 16 can ride
Blizzard/Grüner Hai at Miramar Weinheim: Extreme G-force and a very intense landing
Turbó at Adrenaline Aquapark Zalakaros: Starts slow but reaches insane speeds near the final turn
Jeez almost hitting the wall of the pool makes this even more terrifying
Honestly the Fly over slide always reminds me of the chocolate tube from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory lol. I kinda wish I had the chance to ride it still though.
Video idea: Top 10 best amusement park on ride photo services. Also, the 4th slide looks like something that would operate at Action Park in NJ.
u still have the spongebob popsicle from like 2021 😭😭
They had a mat racer back in the 90s that got airtime. The members of Alice In Chains raced each other down it on an episode of Headbangers' Ball.
Even _with_ Fly Over's safety systems, that design was just *BEGGING* to drown somebody! See USCSB safety videos for plenty of examples of safety systems failing for one reason or another.
“Gone Wrong” is hilarious
(GONE SEXUAL) (COPS CALLED????)
I was getting anxiety just watching the “underwater slide”
Thanks for passing on the low hanging fruit of Verrukt out of respect. Classy move.
7:13 did bro really just say that 💀
I DIDNT EVEN NOTICE THAT UNTIL I READ THIS COMMENT 💀💀😭😭
There's technically a "looping" water slide at Germany's Aqualand Waterpark. It's not a vertical loop by any means, but it does send you upward. I've been on it a few times.
Yeah, this is how all modern looping sldies are built. Some even have two loops, like the one at Kristall Palm Beach or the now defunct one at Wave in Wörgl, Austria. And there even is a looping slide for inner tubes, the Double Loop at Ondaland, Italy.
There is one at Noah's Ark Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells. It's called Scorpion or Scorpions tail or something like that.
If I had grown up in New Jersey, there is no way my parents would’ve let me within five miles of Action Park.
7:40 OMGGG I WAS VERY FOOLED BY THE LIGHT PINK SLIDE AND FLOWERS BUT WHEN I SAW THAT GIRL GOING DOWN IT I WAS LIKW “😨😨😨”
If you wanna go in the pool at the bottom, try the stairs
@@jessicahutton82 ohhh ok lol I’d definitely take the stairs Not then the slide
(Gone Wrong) is crazy ngl 💀
"Delta-P-The Ride" looks too intense for me!
Once it's got ya, it's got ya!
Thanks for not including Verruckt.
When your own son tells you that one of your theme park rides is not fun, then you might as well scrap the project.
I got an ad for Google's AI company right after you mentioned recreating that slide with AI
Oh my goodness I couldn't stop laughing at the Crazy River one. Just guest after guest smacking into a wall and flipping over hahaha.
Really appreciate you leaving Verrucht and Caleb out of this, something so tragic shouldn't be reduced to just an entry on a list.
Thanks for putting the disclaimer right up front. I wondered how you were going to handle that.
I used to ride the fly’n Mayan at the dells growing up. I thought it was an absolute blast but I remember it being closed a lot or having really long lines when it was open
8:26, 8:28 It looks like the A.I. got the painful part right; look how the slide is clipping through the support column, anyone's guaranteed to have their legs smashed by it.
The Fly Over slide freaks me out! Seriously, it looks like some weird Saw trap the Jigsaw concocted.
wake up honey, theme park crazy just dropped a new video
You should totally do a themed water slides type video, there’s a water park in Denver Colorado (Waterworld) with two water slides that act as dark rides done by Sally corp. real cool! I feel like themed water slides really add to an experience
The flyover is one of the most scariest experiences I ever seen. I have somehow saw this one twice that I have re-created that planet coaster to use the the coaster trains to hit the guests and Went through the slide
The Fly Over's idea made my stomach drop, and I literally live in Vernon, NJ, where Action Park, now known as Mountain Creek, is located.
Appreciate the mention in the video, keep up the great work
No problem 👍
Respect for not covering Verrückt.
Waterslides absolutely terrify me so I don’t know why I’m watching this! But it is fascinating to see your perspective.
WOW, the feeling you see a ride on the list you've actually been on!
I'm talking about the waterpipe of Duinrell in my case. Yes, I remember walking in there, and seeing this. I can still remember the true feeling of "wth". But when seeing how long the pipe actually was, it was far less intimidating. I rode it, and honestly, it isn't something you'll remember. If you've your eyes closed, you'll just experience something close to an elevator ride. You'll just be transported. There is no thrill or even much of anxiety. You dive and about 10 seconds later, you come back up another small pool. I do remember how I fear the funnel slide next to it way more, because of the chance that somebody might fall onto you after you fall into the water.
Also, I don't remember any line or instructors with the water pipe. It was just me.
As for your number 2: it reminds me of Batman Forever, if you know what I mean.
How Was Cannonball Loop Open To The Public! That Looks Like Something Straight Out Of A Cartoon! 😂
There weren't many safety regulations back in 1983.
@@ButteryBiscuits-hk4px That Is True
I need to thank you for really getting me into being a coaster enthusiast. It has been pleasant 3 years so far and can’t wait for the many more to come. Thank you.
It has been my pleasure! Thank you for watching!
I enjoy going on water slides, but the look of Fly Over would have me avoiding it at all costs. Also when I started the video, I knew that Action Park would have to make the list and you did not disappoint.
WOAH WOAH WOAH! Don’t diss uncle Fred’s tool shed!
6:20 Blizzard at Miramar Germany for number 1 for sure!
Specifically the old one, before they re built it
0:36 I think its super cool that Palm Beach was mentioned. I used to go there all the time around 2012. It definitely has a few clunky rides lol. There was one called mars or something and it had a clear tube at the end that everyone would get stuck on. Its definitely got a mega butt ton if cool rides though.
I have been at Caneva Aquapark twice now, about 7 years ago and last year. The waterslides you mentioned are still open for business. Though we did get some air time, and other guests as well, it was not as much as seen in the clip here. Still get your heart going though and absolutely love the concept.
As far as I know, there's a weight limit on this ride specifically so that you don't fly off like a shooting star.
BTW Bella ciao
Trust me guys, the supersplash (n 7 ) is not bad and doesnt hurt at all. You almost hit the water like when you dive in the water and its extremely fun+ n.4 got a bit modified i think because i tried it multiple times and saw it multiple times and nothing never happened. I just defended these two attractions bcs they were the only two i actually tried
Geez! Fly Over made me light headed just hearing about it! I had to take deep breaths during that section
I'm so sorry but my lord was I laughing during the clip of #6! I think my laughing at pain (including my own!) sent me into hysterics at the people who fell out of their rafts, but especially the first girl whose raft started to zoom while leaving her behind.
I admit, I don't like water slides for that exact reason though. I'm not really able to sit on a raft like that and stay in position, and I'm just not into fast paced stuff, so it's things like the lazy river and wave pools for me.
love your content man
Loved the @AirtimeThrills reference. Two of my favorite park channels coming together!
Will you do a video about Epic Universe? I know it's not a top 10 thing but the hype for it right now is unreal especially after the reveal of the Dark Universe land.
The left slide looks like a OSHA Violation *WAITING* to happen
Looking at Galactica, there is one thing about that water slide I really did like, and that was the look of it. To me, it looked like a mysterious sewer system, and I think that would be an excellent premise for a water slide. Imagine having to walk through a long rider line where the premise of the "story" unfolds (think Disney here). Perhaps there is a major natural disaster that is causing unprecidented levels of flooding, and you are being forced underground at a water works facility to try to escape. The story unfolds as you walk deeper into the facility, and you discover that your only chance to escape to safety is to ride the flood waters through the sewer system. This, I think, could be a great premise for a ride.
Great video ! It's nice to see content on waterslide because it's still interesting yet less talked about
Excellent video! MINDBLOWING stuff! I can just imagine the pitch meeting for the underwater water "slide." "So know how being stuck underneath ice would be utterly terrifying? Let's turn that into a waterslide!" The Fly Over not having a tragedy happen feels like a miracle. Who in their right mind?!
Me watching cave diving videos: wow, that's crazy, they're really risking their lives
Me watching Fly Over, essentially a man-made cave dive: same reaction
You are the best youtuber on the platform And you are 1 rollercoaster and water park enthusiast Just please I love this is my favorite youtuber in the world
Hey TPC long time veiwer, just want to say i love the video's i probably wouldnt be a coaster enthusiast if i hadn't found your channel a couple years back.
Flyover legit sounds fun as hell. Lol
Actually, in italy there are two more airtime hill slide, one at le vele acquapark, the other at ondaland acquapark. But twin peaks remain the higher one
The fact that no and I reapet No one on queen suite has fallen off the side of that slammer of a waterslide is Absolutely remarkable 😮 OMG!
When the First Lady flipped at 5:35 I started laughing so hard. And when the two dudes went flying at 8:57 too. So hilarious.
Honestly, #10 Galactica was my favorite slide ever. It's a shame it's gone, because there were so many wonderful childhood memories made in there. This slide was the main reason to go to Palm Beach!
I would love to see more water slide videos. This one was very interesting
Lmao number 9 suffers from the EXACT opposite problem of number 5!
Imagine taking your date, spouse, wife, husband, whatever out of a luxurious date night. You get that suite at the hotel, think “oh hey we’ll spend some time in the pool, go down the slide, get a little adrenaline going” then you end up just going to sleep because you had a traumatic experience feeling like you were about to freaking die on a water slide
YESS, Definitely do the INTENSE waterslides video!
Both the closed water coaster and the open one in the dells are very fun! The closed one at the Kalahari was one of my favorites when I was younger. The Chula Vista one isn't as good (the stop at the endis jerky) but definitely still fun
Sick video, as someone from Jersey I wish I got to experience (Class) Action Park before it closed. But hey, at least we still have Hurricane Harbour
The one in the love hotel has got to win some sort of award for the most potential injuries per metre of any slide in the world!
VIDEO just got recommended. So glad it did
Italy theme parks and aquaparks lore guys only Italians can understand
I have a bad sense of self preservation so my dumbass probably would’ve been happy to ride in the flyover because ‘I trust science’
Whew, my anxiety skyrocketed on this one, pretty much reaching stratospheric levels! The mere thought of serious bodily harm rattles my bones - and not in the fun, skeleton-dancing kind of way, haha! By the way, a huge shoutout for adding my tunes to the mix - music truly is the best anxiety balm
Flyover might be the most horrifying thing I've ever heard of. _Horrifying._
Maybe we need to start implementing crash test dummies in water slides.
That was the thing about the Cannonball Loop at Action Park, it decapitated the dummies.
@@PlayButtonPone Thank goodness, that would've been messy if they hadn't tested the thing.
Every one of these look like some crazy designs I would build to torture guests in RCT3 😂
Forget going to Noah’s Ark, Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, or Mt. Olympus for my Wisconsin Dells Birthday Party! I’m going to Chula Vista to ride one of the world’s worst water slides!
It looks like your in a coffin on sky caliber but you will probably stay in the coffin after the ride💀
If you don’t get it I mean you will be dead because of the drop and loop
The flyover seems like a fun way to recreate that scene from the end of The Shawshank Redemption
