@@olgaturbo8781 I have a sublimation printer, which is kind of the same as an ink jet printer, but uses a different ink. My printer doesn't cut, just prints. A cutter like brother scan and cut or cricut just to name a couple will cut through the material such as vinyl or leather, some can also do a cut on thin wood as well.
Just found your channel. Liked, Subscribed, Hit the Bell, and Shared it with a dear friend who is getting into Sublimation. They are already into vinyl, but are ready to expand to include sublimation. SO AM I. Thank you for sharing all this important and valuable information.

With so much info out there to have to research it really really helps those of us that have never dipped into sub printing but long to. I have purchased prints off etsy to just press into shirts and have wanted to do that myself since. I am concerned that I will get the printer, ink, paper and blanks to find that I don't know where to begin once I have all the tools but I am hoping there will be more videos by you in the future of how you made those amazing projects shown in the video! Thank you for the great video! Can you make the large pillow with the Ecotank? Can you use liquid ink with the WF series? That’s the one I want but I know liquid ink saves a lot of money (atleast that’s what I’ve read). I want a sub printer that can do larger areas like the 16” or 20” pillow. Well i was told that i had my heatpress on too low, that it should be on 400 for 60 seconds but even though its better, its not what i expected. i think i need a different sub paper also, good luck with it all.

Just one quesion I have.... when you say you can use white litter HTV and sublimate on top, do you mean that you would heat press/apply the HTV to the garment/item first and then apply the sublimate on top? If so, would 400 not be too hot for the vinyl? And if that's not what you meant, could you please explain what you did mean? Thank you
Great question! Luckily, we have a video on sublimating on Glitter HTV. I'll link it for you here. But yes, you will sublimate directly onto the White Glitter HTV and the 400 degrees is not detrimental for the time it takes to sublimate (60 seconds). First time learning about sub world. I have a cricut maker. But not the printer you suggested. I really want to learn. Your video is amazing. I will tune in a lot to yours. Ty.
One thing to remember, is that your sublimation ink might need what is called an ICC profile to get true colors when you print. I have an Epson 7710 and use Cosmos ink which is not supposed to need an ICC profile. Sawgrass inks DO require you to download their ICC profile. Not sure about the ink that she's using. Just research your ink before you purchase it.
You are absolutely correct Alison. I print from Silhouette Studio (which doesn't use color profiles) so I often forget to talk about this. I appreciate you bringing it up! ---Becky

That's the real definition! What it does is coordinate the colors you see on your computer screen to what is being printed on your sublimation prints. Sawgrass inks must have an ICC profile or your colors won't print correctly. It is usually provided when you buy their inks. Epsons can usually use inks that don't really need a color profile. Why an Epson doesn't need an ICC profile is beyond my understanding! But so far, my colors are coming out pretty close to what I'm seeing on my computer.
This sounds like what our problem is. My sister and I bought an Epson printer and converted it. We used the ink and paper we were told to use. However, the first image we printed (which we purchased from Etsy) came out orange instead of pink. Can you tell me what we need to do?

OMG! YOU'RE AMAZING! I came across your video & I'm so delighted! I bought some baby tee-shirts back in May. Then the cricut sublimation PAPER cause I had project in mind. Didn't know till I purchased supplies that tees had to be some polyester....ugh! Ended up just doing vinyl. I hadn't thought about anymore....till now! I may wanna give it a go! TFS 😃👍
Oh no, how sad Susie! But it sounds like you have the hang of it now! Did you know you can also use Sublimation and Infusible Ink on Glitter HTV? That might be a good trick to learn in case you have cotton shirts in the future! Hope this helps! ---Becky

I just got my epson delivered today that I’m going to be attempting to convert to sublimation. I’ve never done this before and I’m excited to hopefully start a little business with it. I bought some baby tee-shirts back in May. Then the cricut sublimation PAPER cause I had project in mind. Didn't know till I purchased supplies that tees had to be some polyester....ugh!
Ended up just doing vinyl.
I hadn't thought about anymore....till now! I may wanna give it a go! TFS 😃👍
Oh no, how sad Susie! But it sounds like you have the hang of it now! Did you know you can also use Sublimation and Infusible Ink on Glitter HTV? That might be a good trick to learn in case you have cotton shirts in the future! Hope this helps! ---Becky

I just got my epson delivered today that I’m going to be attempting to convert to sublimation. I’ve never done this before and I’m excited to hopefully start a little business with it. I got my Cricut maker and easy press 2 this past Christmas but with covid happening right after I wasn’t able to do much. Anyhow I’m so happy I ran across your video, I subscribed to your channel, you are an awesome person! Love your energy!!! I’m so excited to hopefully start a little business as a side income as I’m a stay at home mom of 8.
