I am so glad to have found this video. I am just getting started in sublimation, bought a printer, and sub ink, and so far, two are wasted that i printed. And I too couldn't find the correct settings in my printer. So, thank you so much, this was so helpful, and I saved it for future reference.
Thanks for sharing I’m a beginner also and I was doing the same thing lol didn’t know watching different videos but this one is the realest and best thank you again!!!!
This is so helpful! I'm researching sublimation at the moment and trying to decide if I want to jump on the bandwagon. Your video provides information that I have not seen or heard elsewhere on the struggles that come along with learning a new craft. Thanks for making this!

Notebook is a great idea. You could even screen shot your printer settings and stuff like that, print off the screen shots and store those in your notebook too. A virtual notebook works too, word doc or Google doc, copy / paste the screen shots, and keep notes there and you can access them on your phone or computer and it's free.
I loved your presentation! I am excited to get BACK to crafting. We moved to a new home (late 2021) and I was blessed with a whole new craft room. Fully furnished. I have not made one thing! Love your video I'm a beginner out of Atlanta ga I'm starting something great and I need a mentor on the things I need to get started on creating designs primarily for my line
I have the same printer and have no idea about the settings and also was under the impression that you could not keep changing ink. I am just learning and glad I found you.
Yep, to my understanding, each ink has its own icc profile. But I will say the first time I used a different brand to fill my tanks, I forgot to update the profile and didn't notice a difference.
TFS these great tips. Although I have the printer, paper, ink, mugs and mug press, I have not done sublimation with the printer. The first take away was just don't dive in as enthusiastic crafters do. Slow it down, keep notes, learn, measure twice and cut once. I am so glad to meet you. And will be looking forward to learning a great deal from you!
Hey! New subscriber here! I'm hoping to get into Sublimation soon, so came here tonight and searched "step by step sublimation for beginners". Your video came up, so I gave it a go. I appreciate you being kind enough to share the "little things" that all too often most people have to learn the hard way. Or if someone is willing to share the information, they also want to charge you to learn it. Or how people buy a Cricut and let it sit in a box for a year (or more) because they're afraid to get it out and screw up. That can get expensive!!! I hope to check out more of your videos for continued suggestions! TFS!! :)
This is an excellent video!!!!!! I'm subscribing today this is the first video I have watched of yours but the information is solid! Your voice is lovely, and so are you! Glad to have you in my crafting group!
I'm buying my printer today and so happy to have this info first. You are easy to understand and very informative, so thank you! I'm sure this will save me time and money.
This was good. I always do print n more prints until I’m happy with my sizing then I print my final bit to use. Not done sublimation yet keep getting confused, told new unused printer then some say used an old printer. Some say you need to keep to the same sub ink so I’m still confused
Tampered tumblers are of the devil.....lmao....love it!!!! Also, your information is extremely valuable to those of us who are just starting. Thank you 😊
This is a GREAT video. Thank you. I’m just starting out and already have multiple sheets of paper with notes for each project lol but you had me on the floor with “dumb big“! I’m still dying over that😂😂😂
Thank you! Very helpful and straightforward and slow paced I wrote down everything thing you said I’m trying to learn! With that said. you have a new subscriber 👍
I want to tell you I love your personality. You are awesome the way you help others. You made me feel like I am not the only one experiencing these issues. Thank you for your help. I have subscribed and liked. A couple of things I have learned watching some of the other videos on You Tube. First, as far as the lines from the pressed images. I learned that you could spray the pressed image with a little peroxide, and it helps get rid of the edges you see. Leave it on for a few minutes. you should be able to see the lines disappear. Then wash the blanket or shirt in cold water. Second, I am not sure if on a mug press you can use painters' tape to go around the tumbler after the initial taping with the painter's tape. It helps apply much more pressure to get a tighter fit and more colorful picture. Maybe you could try it. Just a couple things you could try that may help. Look forward to seeing more of your videos. :)
Great video Sis! One piece of advice about the journal. I find it helpful to keep it on the computer in a Notepad document. Easier to edit and manipulate.

Thank you so much for the info. Can you explain to me about the drivers. When I go to More Print Settings, I do not get all the options you are showing. But I keep seeing them in everyone’s videos.
If you google Epson EcoTank ET-2670 drivers, it'll take you to they're website and from there you'll be able to download what you need to have access to all your printer options.
I am happy I came upon your youtube experiences they are very helpful. There were some issues I was having that were similar to yours. Keep up the good job! Thank you
I just watched this video and thank you. You said to check the drivers on my printer. How do I do that? I love the notebook idea. I bought a Rocketbook for my notes and I love it.
So, you'll want to make sure you can access all your printer settings. In order to do that, you have to install the drivers. Just Google your printer plus drivers. ie Epsom ecotank drivers. Hope that helps 😊
