I enjoyed this video. Thanks for the clear instructions. I am just learning Canva and have been designing and printing mu mug wraps from Design space. My question: Can I download my Canva design to Design Space and print from there or is that no longer necessary, as I see you print directly from your download file. Thanks
You can definitely do that but I don’t think it’s always necessary. However it could be helpful if it’s a design you need to be very straight and then you have your Cricut cut your paper strait so that your image is strait on your mug
Thank you for the video. You made it easy for me to try cause i am not that good with computers. I will watch some of your other videos as well. Thanks
I use an epson surecolor f170 which is already a sublimation printer so I don't need to play around with icc profiles. If you're using a converted sublimation printer you can upload your Canva design to another program such as photoshop or affinity and adjust your profiles there.
How did you know where to space your left and right image to land on the right place on the mug? I am guessing on the first one you just are unsure and it is hard to get it perfect so you just cut out the design itself to make sure it is centered on each side. I find it so hard to get the designs correct on both sides without cutting them. I do see most people use a guide and I have tried that and it still isn't right.
I would add grids lines to the page and if that's not working for you print out a test page (maybe using your regular printer) and see if it's where you want your design on the mug (no pressing, just wrapping the paper around to see if it's lined up). If it is, print your sublimation design, if not make adjustments. All the best.
I am new at using canvas. Do you have a list of videos I could watch to teach me how to use canva. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
@stephsm3732 The printer I’m using is a true sublimation printer and it sounds like you’re using a converted printer and that’s why the options are different. If you need help with your settings maybe check out another RUclipsr who has a converted printer.
Make sure your scale is set to 100% on your print settings. Sometimes when you go to print your printer settings will automation adjust the scale of your image.

I have a garden flag 12x18. What page size do I need to set up in Canva for it to print on 8.5 x 14 size paper
I would set your Canvas size to be the same size as your paper.

Trying to get my head around ICC profiles, how do they work with printing from canva?
