@Angela G Hey Angela! I don't make a ton of labels in Canva, however I wonder if it's part of the template you're using? Are the lines part of the background? I'd try two things: First right-click the background and select "detach from background" and see if that does it. Then if that doesn't work, try to unselect the option to add bleeds/print marks on your export. I hope those help!
OMG i have just started an Embroidery business. and i looked at Canvas and thought. it was to hard to do, as i have Dyslexia. but after watching your video i think i might be able to design my own templates and business cards. love how you put the scan. code on the back of your business cards for people to go straight to your site. thank you so much. have a follow here for life lol.

And is this the free version of Canva? Because in mine t doesn't show the Mkre button at all I the left menu nor the QR code hitton..I had to click the Apps button to then scroll through to find the QR code button..just wondering..thanks for sharing
WOW, you're the first tutorial that doesn't glaze me over, but makes me get excited to start designing my website!!!! THANK YOU, you have a new subscriber!!!!
It took me almost 2 years to learn how to use my Cricut! It looks like it may take me that long to use Canva! You make it look so easy and may try it when everyone is gone to try. I enjoy watching you and you explain your steps in a clear and concise manner. Thank you.
Hey Alma! As long as you're enjoying the learning process, take as much time as you need to learn. I hope you enjoy your foray into designing with Canva :)
I created an account after your last Canva video. I have recently started a business and have been working on a logo in Canva. The business card idea was great and I will definitely be checking that out. Thank you for these! Keep them coming!
I didnt see a free option. It only gave me a 1 month free trial. But, it took my paypal info first. All I want to do is take images, like people do and add music and words and little video scribbles on them... like I see people do all over social media. But, everytime I go searching for how to... a million things pop up, all seemingly useless... and i swear... I just get burned out while spinning my wheels. Anyone else get eye fatigue all the time too from looking at the internet? I'm turning 48... I dont know what is happening to my attention span or my eye sight. I am UTTERLY frustrated.
Dang! Where's the auction?? You whipped through this so fast I thought I was at a auction. Thanks for the tutorial, just not beginner friendly. Still love your tutorials that you make. 😊
Hey Dawn - yes, this is a quicker paced overview than my normal format, but I still feel it's a great way for beginners to get started with the platform. That being said, here's a slower tutorial I have on Canva and how I create my printables, if that's more your speed :) ruclips.net/video/aVnDEvFqK1E/видео.html Have a great weekend!

Whitney I am a 61 young newbie to all things social media. Sure I can scroll FB and IG but now I am starting a business and every time I think I’m going in the correct order with my to do’s I find something else I should have done. Have you ever done a start to finish step by step to create an online presence for small business? Or do you know of any resources that might teach this old/young dog new tricks! Trying to not lose my sense of humor! Haha I am grateful for any and all tips and recommendations! Thanks Whitney!💚
Thank you so much! I'm currently trying Canva to brand my business but I am clueless! I always end up so frustrated that I just give up trying to do anything. Although, one of my issues was that I was using my phone and not a computer. You made it look so easy!
This was wonderful! You do such a great job explaining Canva. I did something yesterday that I cant figure out how to fix it. Could you help me please? On the Upper Left Side where you type what your searching for,, mine has shrunk to a very narrow strip. I can hardly see whats showing (for text,, video,, elements etc..). I cant figure out how to set it back to normal/larger size. Do you have a video that shows how to adjust the size? Thanks!
THANK YOU! I downloaded Canva because I needed to make a flyer- it’s on my iPad and it was so freaking confusing! Trying to even add text was a nightmare- because of the pencil, there was no keyboard and it would only do one letter at a time- VERTICALLY! lol, I finally closed it and decided to come to RUclips for some instruction. As usual- the pc version looks much easier 😂 Thanks again!
I've made one-sided Birthday card/Gift bag tags on Canva, once I get what I wanted, I'd print & laminate, then use a nice ribbon to tie to the strap of the bag. I don't know why I didn't think of it until now but this is how I'll be labeling Christmas gifts come December...
Are you using it on your laptop or phone? I use my Samsung 22s for most things because it's faster than my laptop (I need a new one). I'm thinking I'm going to have to default to my pc for canva. Great video by the way.

I love Photoshop so today I signed up for Canva. You covered a lot but feel like you should slow down. As a beginner for this software, I was trying to keep up with where your cursor was just to follow.
Yes! You can either print via Canva's services or export in the file type your print shop needs and send it over to them - usually a .PDF file. I've done it both ways.
Really really good overview. Love that Canva sponsored but it wasn't overly salesly. I will apply these tips today-especially around formatting and font. Thank you kindly!

Great video, when you do sublimation do you use canva? I just got a printer and ink and paper for my birthday. I ha e made any thing yet. I'm a little nervous about doing something.
Hey Kelly! Yes, all of the sublimation files and SVGs I design are all via Canva. It's my go to for anything and everything digital design :) As for your first project, I'd get some cheap blanks to play around with. My first couple projects with sublimation weren't the best (because I was learning as I went). Having the cheap blanks will give you peace of mind to test and then you can transition to the bigger/more expensive things once you get your barrings. Happy creating!

Thank you , loved your video. This is the first time I'm trying this but it's been a challenge for me because of so many other different offers to us. I'm trying to get on the best one and mainly the easiest one to use. So I do have questions and sorry but I am a questionable person before I choose. Can we print this on any cards? and my best one does it allow us to use our own pics? and can it be used for tshirts? and would it allow us to join our pics for a tshirt design? sorry, but I had to get this out of the way. Lol. Sincerely JT. 😃

Hi Steven - in general terms, anything that is offered in the Canva free elements you can use. Typically anything that is Pro, you cannot sell. Beyond that, I believe there is a section of the Canva website that outlines in more detail how that all works.
Excellent content presented well. However, for those of us who are not tech savvy, (I know, we are the older generation, and there aren't that many of us), a little bit slower pace would be helpful. Stretching the 9:24 to 15:00 mins would really help. About the time I was figuring out where you were going with a design, you moved on.

Yep! Just export as a transparent PNG or SVG to cut on your machine. Or you can use a free site like remove.bg if you have the free version of Canva ✨💕
I have a question does use this media safely in a canva design for a wide range of personal commercial uses means you can use it for RUclips or other social media platform?
Are all of canva's stock photos and clip art copyright free to use im working on a cooking channel but im terrified of getting in trouble for copyright? Also this video was extremely helpful thank you so much!
What a great tutorial! Just recently tried it and used the free version to design a baby shower invitation to text out. Do you need to purchase a commercial license to sell any designs I make using the free items on Canva? I wasn't sure if those items were copyrighted or not. Thank you SO much for all the videos!
Yours is the second video I looked at to help with creating a design. I am on that page in Canva and it looks nothing like the one in your video nor the other video. Thus, I can't find how to do anything. Any thoughts, anyone?
this canva video was super helpful!! I was wondering if there is a way to "flatten the images" used on canva so that they can be sold as part of a product on the teachers pay teachers site. Do you know? thanks!

I'm so glad!
Thank you for this! I’ve always been intimidated by Canva and designs
You're so welcome! The more you use it, the easier it will become. You got this!
You are enjoy to watch, so lively and good speech output :) I learned so quickly, so much. Keep Going Forward
Thank you so much!
Such an informational video. Thanks, Whit
I am going to try it. Thanks so much.
Would love more of this type of content. Maybe creating digital documents to sell?
Hello, I'm having a paint party for the kids in 3 weeks. I would like to know if I can use canva to make iron on for them to paint on a T-shirt.
Yep! Just export as a transparent PNG or SVG to cut on your machine. Or you can use a free site like remove.bg if you have the free version of Canva ✨💕
Thank you.
I have a question does use this media safely in a canva design for a wide range of personal commercial uses means you can use it for RUclips or other social media platform?
I have the pro account and I use it on my channel
Are all of canva's stock photos and clip art copyright free to use im working on a cooking channel but im terrified of getting in trouble for copyright? Also this video was extremely helpful thank you so much!
I use some of the elements on my channel - I would just double check their terms of use if you’re in question on something.
What a great tutorial! Just recently tried it and used the free version to design a baby shower invitation to text out. Do you need to purchase a commercial license to sell any designs I make using the free items on Canva? I wasn't sure if those items were copyrighted or not. Thank you SO much for all the videos!
Hi April! You can use the free items in digital designs/templates you sell :) The Pro features you can not use in a sold product. I hope that helps!
@@Whiskeyandwhit Great!
Yours is the second video I looked at to help with creating a design. I am on that page in Canva and it looks nothing like the one in your video nor the other video. Thus, I can't find how to do anything. Any thoughts, anyone?
Newby to Canva. You have helped me!
Do you have to alter graphics, invitations, etc in order to be compliant, for an Etsy business?
I’m not an expert on selling designs, but you typically want to use their free elements in designs you want to sell
Thank you, I'm just starting out and your info was very welcome x
this canva video was super helpful!! I was wondering if there is a way to "flatten the images" used on canva so that they can be sold as part of a product on the teachers pay teachers site. Do you know? thanks!
Yes! Just export as a PDF, JEPG, or PNG and it will be one flat file to share 🩷
thanks so much!@@Whiskeyandwhit
Do you teach Canva classes for beginners?
I have a few more videos on my channel
Hi Whit..Thank you for a great video
I have an question 🙋🏻♀️ is it possible to remove the background from a logo and just have the words when creating say a business card on Canva!
Hi there - totally you can do that. However the remove background function is only available with the paid Canva Pro Version
Thanks! 😊
