@ Natalia Kalinska - Suggestion: Since your on screen cursor is very small and difficult to see, and some of us are completely new to Canva, it would be very helpful as we follow along, if you would be more specific in your instructions. For example, at 9:01 you are speaking of ways to start a design from a blank design. You say the first and easiest way is to click the button "right here". Perhaps you could say "click the button here at the top right." I had to replay that section (and others) multiple times to actually find where you were clicking. Sometimes I never did find where you clicked to bring up certain sections of Canva. I realize that I must explore Canva myself, but when watching an instructional video I like to take detailed notes. I found that difficult to do in some parts of your video. I do appreciate your work though. Thank you.

Agree. I make this suggestion all the time. She is great but VERY knowledgeable and most of us are not. This is like trying for a PhD in 2 hours!. My repeated suggestion to all online teachers, especially RUclips is to SHOW us - don't just TELL us. Make your cursor as big and visible as you can and when you move it SHOW us where you moved it (and clicked it). This is a GREAT video and she obviously loves what she does. That I envy.

Hi Natalia. I am new to all this on Canva and not digitally savvy either. Your voice is clear and you have a nice way of explaining things. I stopped after the first 18 minutes and felt like asking this: Do you have any videos, where you show - slowly - how to design one picture and where you also show all the names on that narrow list above? I saw the tiny arrow touching, clicking here and there, but not on which names. Let´s say I´d create a cat with a bow around its throat sitting on a sofa and the text :
" We will look after your pet" as if this would be a template for a pet shop. This would be a great help for a beginner. Thank you.

Thanks Natalia. As a beginner I googled through pages and pages of Canva courses few if any offering a comprehensive and carefully explained course like yours. Till now I created all my 4 minute Global Issues videos on Adobe Spark but then they just upgraded it from simple to very complicated. My Canva needs are different from most of your students I guess. I want only to create videos for RUclips - composed of a mix of text and images and video clips - so for the moment two thirds of Canva's features are irrelevant for me. But I need a template. You did invite people wanting to create a Template to contact you and here I am. I want to create one Yt template with the same size screen, identical size and font text and a corner page logo - if possible without going at this stage to Pro. I am contactable on my Yt channel. Thank you again for that tremendous course

Thank you so much for your kind words, Anton! 🙌 I'm glad you think it's a thorough enough tutorial. If you're looking for a video editing tutorial, I have one on my channel already: ruclips.net/video/fZ6zfwkyxbk/видео.html. Although it's based on a talking head style video, the principles shown would be the same for what you need. In terms of the video for creating templates, you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/IMG5zUFrWxM/видео.html but I think you're potentially looking for something a bit different. What you talk about can be achieved without going Pro so I hope the video editing tutorial can give you a better insight. I hope it helps!

Dear Natalia your Canva tutorials have been a great help to as I didn't know much about Canva. Do you have a video about how to convert a real photo such as a lion ( not a graphic) to a colouring page please? Do I need to convert the photo to a graphic first, and then to a colouring page please? Sorry I'm getting myself very confused about how to do this. Thanks so much Jo

Looking great so far Natalia. FYI I have spent days trying to get my CANVA screen looking like yours and every other instructors'. My left panel and top bar were different. I use a PC with W11 and Edge so I tried CHROME. That was better - looked like yours. Went back to Edge - same problem. I noticed to date I had been signed in using a non-Gmail account I have (as I was when in Chrome). After signing off and then back in on Edge using my gmail ID - everything was good again!. Hope this might help some people.

Thank you for such a well developed training video. It is the best training video I have found on RUclips to date. Canva has changed it's look since your video. The features and functions you describe in the beginning are no longer in the places you are locatiing them; this makes a bit more challenging to keep up with you, wherein, I have to use the search engine to locate the functions. Is using the Canva search engine the best suggestions for how to navigate and keep up with your training video?

Very helpful, I appreciate the detail you went into, as a newbie. I did find your mouse swirling quite distracting though - had to go back several times to see what you actually clicked vs. swirling. (just me, I'm sure... 🙂)

Very helpful information and well-explained. My only problem was your cursor moved so fast to where you were talking about, I had a hard time seeing where you actually were on the editing panel etc. I slowed the speed down to try to catch up. Otherwise, it was excellent, thorough and clearly explained. thank you.
