More pre-modern art reviews please! Bazille was playing with breaking the picture plane and re-envisioning the organization of space before Cezanne got to it. Cezanne was on his Bon Iver in the woods while George was in the streets. I hadn't seen this painting before but the openness in the center allows the viewer full easy access to come into the studio. The red chair takes your eyes up, the angle of the hanging painting leads your eye over to the window curtain then you go into the convo, 'chopping it up in the studio'. There's playing with space in a beautiful way. Thanks for talking about it!

In the past 12 months I’ve seen Kendrick, Lizzo with Latto, Anita Baker with Babyface before the drama, Janet Jackson with Ludacris, Neyo, Flo, Ari Lennox, Durand, Jazmine Sullivan, Bilal, Alex Vaughn, Fantasia, The Walls Group, Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin and Maverick City the pop up Juvinille concert at the Howard Theater, skipped SZA, and Drake but will be seeing Beyoncé in august and just got tickets for Raphael Saadique, had tickets for the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop with LL and Quest love that looks like it’s gonna be cancelled all together which is a missed moment but so hard to actually pull off. Sad I’ll be missing Badu and Yasiin but still trying to go see Usher before that ends. Not including any festivals and missed a lot of other acts too
Now that you’ve seen my poor impulse spending habits 😂😂 are these many artists concurrently on tour and I never realized it or is something in the ether???its giving the rapture is happening in 2024 Doja just announced with ice spice and doechi that actually looks good. Hopefully Doja and Doe’s stage presence will rub off on Ice Spice… is Matthew Knowles or Kris Jenner her manager… she’s WORKING!!!

Lack of futures is because no one wants to make music with him. Think about it, a lot of people in the industry love thug. Young thug and Lil Durk will cut off any artist that's willing to do music with Gunna. Even if you're a new up-and-coming artist doing music with him right now will be detrimental to their career. Sad to say but it's true no one wants to work with a perceived rat.
