These clips are 'tame' when compared to the Christmas tapes that we used to share between the stations. In fact they got so wild that they were banned from being produced and circulated among the big 4 stations at the time. The adult jokes she said they called formula one jokes for they went straight over the kids but the adults got them. Ann Maree also said that the show couldn't be done today because we were so politically incorrect. Some think that Jamie Dunn was "feeling up" Ann Maree up under the table but all he had to do was touch her ankle and she'd jump. There was nothing but utter respect between the two of them. Ann Maree was on the show from 1989-1995. She got bored with doing the same thing and wanted to try new things so that's why she left. But the chemistry that she and Jamie had working together couldn't be replicated by other presenters and the show went down in the ratings. Jamie said that only thing that killed Agro off was Covid 19. To this day Jamie carries Agro around in the boot of his car and if people recognise him he does photo with them and Agro. Agro's voice is not Jamie's normal way of speaking. An adults only show was going to be done but the awful political correctness had it cancelled. Ann Maree is now 62 and when not working as a reporter spends time at home with her family.

Agro's Cartoon Connection was the best kids show. Sometimes the cartoons would bore me and id be hanging for the intermission 😄 watched Agro every morning before school and my brother even won some of the comps. Amazing chemistry, but the pupeteer and her were purely good friends.
