@@lexjansma There has to be a balance where you can joke, but not hurt people. Hopefully the fact she was talking to a puppet made it funny and not really hurt her feelings and it was played for laughs.
@@davidriley8316 In this day and age, hurting people even happens when you objectively criticise somebody. People today are easily offended. Even the jokes agro makes to ann-maree, can today be considered "hurtful".
Not only no sense of humour but no guts either. So what if somebody takes an insult, tough! They can go and cry in the corner.
Agro you where amazing❤️ miss Claude also...Proud Aussie 🇦🇺 raised with proper tv. Anne Maree wonder what happened to you?
And to think, this was replaced by Koch and Co. Madness.
both more hands up their arses brainless puppets than agro ever could be.
and apparent self proclaimed moral police to boot.
@@John-gm8ty how anyone could stand watching that tosser kochie and that god awful sunrise.god must love me as i am either on the road to work driving or on two buses via the city to get there having left home at 5:30am to get my morning connection to spare me from brekkie tv.
Julian Grant nah m8 cartoon connection and cheez tv were separate shows that overlapped briefly whilst they competed between 95 and 97. Cheez tv went on to win that ratings war when cartoon connection was cancelled in 97. Channel 7 tried airing cartoons without a host/s and tried a new show with newer younger hosts but cheez tv had better cartoons and in the early 2000s seven cut their losses and gave up on morning cartoons aimed at kids when they put out sunrise.
Know right.. Everyone is alright on Sunrise..
Koch is a fuckhead.
Indeed it's sad isn't it. Competition with 9 as they had a morning show .
Anne-Maree: You know who's up there playing that music? Lorry.
Agro: You know his mother named him after a truck.
Anne-Maree: Ah yeah, who? Mack?
Agro's dead-pan stare to the camera.
Andres Ulloa I knew Laurie the sound guy 😏
That's a very articulate puppet for the time and location. I can see why kids were into this. And the chick is hot af mate.
How good was growing up in the 80s and 90s !
It was great better then now.
I had such a crush on Ann Maree when I was a kid watching this, then again still fancy her...lol
Bro same lol
She lives pretty local to me, I've seen her at the local pub once or twice..
@@rickoakley1835 Where abouts (roughly)?
He was always a bloody rude bath mat lol
I dunno if you remember when he hosted the Steve Visard show for a couple of weeks and was way ruder that Steve ever could be? And Steve Visard got shit canned one night when he went too far and Kerry Packer called in to 7 Studios and said "Get this shit off the air, now!"
I forgot all about Ann-Maree! She's cute AF. Where is she these days?
Agro, please come back!!! Say sorry to Ann Marie! you two are so cute together!
"I can't open them." "Yeah well, it's child proof." PMSL!
Love the 90s,, the generation from 2000+, the FUN you missed..
I am convinced that Ann-Maree during this time period is probably the most attractive woman who ever lived.
Not just talking looks! I mean voice, mannerisms, style, EVERYTHING! She's amazing.
Ranger Stacey 👌👌👌
I wish they still existed
@@johnko4555 Yeah in the uniform but still Anne Maree for me
She is
Steady. She's lovely but ONJ takes the title. Imagine being marooned on a desert island with those two......😍
I've watched everything I can find on RUclips with Agro and Anne Marie , thank you ! To those involved in posting them all , I have had a most enjoyable time laughing my head off ! If there is more material out there please make it available to watch .🧔🏴
How the hell did I not realise how cute Ann Maree was back then?! I must have been an idiot
we were all too busy watching the misbehaving bathmat XD
I was fond of Teresa Livingston, myself.
@@AstrosElectronicsLab I actually got to meet Ranger Stacy a few years ago when she and Totally wild came to do a piece about the museum I work at. I got to take them around the place and give them a guided tour. Off camera we talked about how Totally Wild was 25 years old and about Agro's Cartoon Connection.
Remember she had Sophie Lee hosting Loony Tunes as competition
the Teresa and Holly eras were just as good... Holly Brisley had the sexist voice too
I miss old Channel Seven before it became a corporate mobster.
My God, so funny and corny, but it didn't matter in those enlightened times!! Long before the PC morons were born.
Thank the lnp for allowing foreign multinationals, that is america, to buy out channels 7, 9 and 10 then tell us what good american tv we have missed out on …
Man this was funny ....no wonder we were such happy kids back then
Just discovered this, needed it in my childhood in America
It's definitely funny . Didn't you guys have a show called You can't do that on television?. Thanks
Australia was very chilled out in the 80s. Not like that now
Australian kiddies television, folks!😆
Holy Sheep-Shit Batman.. 61 year young Canadian here. Never heard about this show. Brilliant. And it's a kids show? Wow. Go Oz.
Thank you for uploading
My love letter to channel 7 : Want big ratings? No problem! No personality beats Agro. Get him back on air. I'll watch so ratings are guaranteed. Thankyou channel 7 for making a dream come true
Ann-Maree and agro were the best. Taking me back to my childhood.
Had I grown up in Australia I would have been all over this show! He’s so cute and rude! She’s a great sport too!
Born in Australia growing up as an Aussie kid Agro was one of the best highlights of my childhood loved watching him every morning so fuuny. 😊
@@christiejones2192 I m
She is a cutie love that blonde hair and voice
Makes me wish American television (and television in general these days) weren't so overly sanitized
As a kid i just watched for the toons and had no idea what they were on about all these years later after a lot of life experience i get it.
OMG I wish I could've been able to appreciate the underlying humour in this when I was a kid.
She is cute and Argo looks like Oscar the Grouch's cousin. 🤪 Am I wrong? 😆
He was on Perth Telethon the other week. Still a funny bloke.
Ann-Maree is SO ADORABLE!
Yes. Much better than her successor.❤❤❤❤❤
Anne Marie was the best ❤❤❤❤❤
I grew up watching this every morning before school in Brisbane & I us-to laugh so much .. I had no idea what they were talking about at the time but looking back
Agro was such a menace 😂
true dat.
You can't manufacture chemistry like this, yet they still try.
I must have seen these a hundred times…and still can’t get enough. So funny
She single handedly made the Bob hairstyle HOT! 🔥🔥
“Hey call the white truck. Bring me another dizzy blonde”
lol "we were gonna make some anne maree dolls out of pipe cleaners".
Lucky Jamie.. Ann Marlee deserved a medal working wth that carpet..
Ann-Maree will forever be beautiful
Have a quick google. She's still gorgeous.
@@CyberiusT you are right. Still a stunner 👌
She had such an Aussie accent!
She had an Australian accent because it was Australia before being overrun by terrorists and scum who are still trying to take the country and have ZERO interest in its history
That's a Brisbane accent
I know this will be shock horror but maybe just maybe possibly because she is Australian
@@millykay3209 ya don't say! Ya fuckin idiot.
Yeah weird aye was expecting Swahili
The show gets the flick and Disney takes over 😂😂 fucking love agro! 6.40 talking about escorts hehe
Tony Abbott should have kept being Agro and not bothered with politics
His reaction to that lorry joke. 🤣🤣
I can't believe this just popped up in my recommend vids, awesome!!! Those were the days before p.c and Aussie TV got away with murder!!! Love it, bring it back and replace some of the rubbish we're stuck with atm. Brings back so many childhood memories. Lol. I'm starting to laugh at the craziness before I've even pressed play. I hope you guys get a good laugh out of it like us Aussies did back in the day. Enjoy our strange humour... Danielle from Australia 🐨🍀
Cheers for the post bro. I remember watching this show when I was 18 saying to myself geez this puppet is just giving it to this cute blonde and she is copping it sweet lol
Holly was brilliant, and very cute. She stood up for herself with great aplomb. But the main thing was that she had a wonderful sense of humour. To think that she started on the show when she was only 16.
I loved this show!
I actually remember seeing 1 or 2 of these as a kid.
I love them both they compliment eachother and it is mostly spontaneous
