I thought the skunk wasn't too happy with how its mouse snack was presented a couple weeks back. It looked happier this time: a nice big rat, served on a platter, electrically grilled to perfection, medium-rare.
You've said Pack Rats have stolen traps in the past. You should put a small tracking device in something they'd steal and find out where they're stashed.

Mr Red Tail Hawk is a prime example of why you do not use poisons to control rodents. Not only does it kill the rodent, but also anything that eats it when it's dead.
@@thomasewing2656 Apex predator just means nothing eats him as a standard part of their diet - PLENTY of things eat red tail chicks and great horned owls will go out of their way to kill a hawk they find in their territory.
I have a few electrical mouse traps, If you take them apart and lacquer the circuit boards you double the lifetime of the device outdoors. I also wrapped them in old bread bags. Pro Tip: If you have pet mice or rats, placing some of the used bedding in or around your trap makes the trap more attractive to wild rodents
Hawk was like wow this is incredible cooked exactly the way I like it blood rare❕It's very unusual to get a mouse that is cooked, especially the way I enjoy it ‼️®™️ 🤣🤣
I like how almighty and benevolent Google is to not allow a rodent be exterminated, but watching animals tear into the flesh of other animals is a-okay.
If the trap resets it self, the price is already justified. I wonder, if you attach it at a slop, would the rat or mouse slide out. That would be similar to the New Zealand trap, that is way more expensive. It would be nice to test that idea. Thanks
@Yazeed Hawamdeh I have owls and hawks living on my property, so don't want them to eat poisoned rats. Rats will not get near snap traps; I have video of them checking out the traps, then going around. This might be what I need
You'd think that something that expensive and intended to be used outside would be capable of catching more mice. It would never keep up with some the barns Shawn has featured.
I have been trying to contact you via your website contact page but keep getting a recaptcha error. I have a mousetrap I would like to share with you for review. I think your viewers will like it!
7:10: Well, yes, that red-tailed hawk is one of your cast members --- but, as I was saying earlier, Mr. Skunkbutt seems to have turned his resignation form --- or gotten fired since he's obviously no longer on your show.
We have a rat issue in our garage in the cooler seasons. What would you recommend for a garage that is not heated. I thought the cold would kill the batteries not sure. We don’t have an issue with water.
Why on Earth did that Rat discarded such a fine Walking-Stick? I bet he spent a good Hour-or-two just picking it out! However, watching the Mice Sparkle as they fried their Brains was well worth it! 😁
If you take your electric mouse trap apart and paint all of the electrical exposed circuits and wire connections with conformal coating it will be waterproof. That's how I waterproof my quadcopters
Going primitive on you but you hav`nt shown the tree huggers delight before it`s not that old but very scarce. I bought one years back just to put on the shelf . Mine does`nt have a model # but it`s made be Havahart . It`s a tiny 2 door live trap just like the ones for coon and fox but it`s advertised for catching mice. Bought it at the local hardware store but it was`nt cheap neither were the regular size traps.
Looks like the grandson of the Carpenter Rat had a brief career. Let's see what the future has in store for the Engineer Rat's family. We all know it's a trap, but fair play I say.
Submersing electronics in water when there is no current running and then letting it dry out isn't much of a test if you don't let corrosion set it. The real test is submersing it with current running and then seeing if it will work again.
@Shawn Woods "In my opinion there's better electric traps made by Victor... much cheaper..." Which model would you recommend for rats? I'm assuming the primary k***ing electronics would be similar in most of them. Greetings from Australia.
Yeah. Basic design of the high voltage stuff would be the same across all models (and most other brands). Cheaper brands don't go as high voltage and often lack some of the safety features, so I wouldn't recommend Chinese eBay stuff. But the victors should all be roughly equal in their killing power because they'll be all the same specs on that part.

It got a rat trying to use a stick. This could be a good trap for rats that have gotten familiar with common traps.
that smart rat is going to be picking the lock...😆
He's like: "what's Shawn's wife's birthday?"
@@oldrrocr "This is the lock picking rat and today I was sent this trap."
@@JoeyBaby47 "I'll be using the stick that Bosnian Bill and I found..."
Those rats have been evolved to Einstein level.
@@JoeyBaby47 ... CLASSIC❕ LPL ‼️®™️
We basically got two videos for the price of one today. Great content.
You mean 3!

The hawk was so cautious. Almost like "this meal was way too easy." 😂😂
Might be a deadly trap xD
Ever seen the video where a vulture is trying to snag some turtle guts as an alligator chomps on a turtle?
"I sense danger, but... free mouse."
You've said Pack Rats have stolen traps in the past. You should put a small tracking device in something they'd steal and find out where they're stashed.
I`ve been in old farm houses and found their nests with jewelry, coins and all sorts of stuff.

Both the fluffy skunk and the beautiful hawk--what a treat! 😍
How could that hawk possibly see those dead mice from the sky?
@@spacefren3826
That's why they were called hawk eyes.
@@spacefren3826 Shawn is pretty easy to spot and he always brings treats.
It was pretty cute

Yeah I think so
In our house, if someone says mice, rats, squirrels, chipmunks the other one is obliged to say moles, voles and gophers!
You ended his javelin career 😂
The way the tail of the rat goes to resting position. That rat died in a second
Thank you for featuring a rat trap. More of them please.
The rat dragging a stick man, I love it lol. They're getting smarter!
When the light turns green, the trap is clean.
Nobody is talking about that orange flash when the trap got dunked. 4:55
"Who you gonna call?"
I love how cautious the hawk is.
It seems to be always on the lookout for the candid camera.
For an apex predator, he seems too cautious.
He's worried that Rachel will catch him doing it.

Love seeing the red tailed Hawk!

I loved seeing the rat drag the stick
Get well soon Shawn. There are still mice to catch.

Now if this trap could dump the cadaver into a pail for disposal you would have a winner.

This would be useful for me because I live in Florida and have pets.
Also maybe they should make it rechargeable for that price point.

As Exterminator, this trap cost 120 $ very expensive compared of using bait stations or traditional snap traps ..
