Shawn, thank you for taking time to review our trap. The video was absolutely remarkable to watch. We also want to thank all your viewers for all the great ideas and improvements they are coming up with. We are taking all their comments into consideration and hope to update our trap soon to make it even more effective. The support we are receiving is absolutely touching and we cannot tell everyone enough how much we appreciate you all.
UPDATE: We apologize for the delay in inventory. Amazon is having some issues receiving our inventory due to the large influx of sales. We are now manually shipping out orders from our warehouse until further notice.

There was evidence of it not working as the peanut butter was eaten clean without a catch. I did catch a few chipmunks until the plank warped from heat and they would no longer walk it. Also, rodents began chewing through the lid to eat the peanut butter from the top.

    - Put something on the lid to quiet the sound when the flip resets so they don't get scared off, like some rubber tape where the flip hits
    - Put a couple tiny slits near the bottom of the bucket and a bit of food in there so trapped mice act like a "stool pidgeon" and attract more (live mice inside with food makes it seem safer to new mice coming in)

Also, the trap door could be more stable at the middle, so that the mouse will go completely towards the tip, before gravity takes it down. Shawn, I totally agree that this is the most effective, clean, simple and easy to catch mice. My mouse count is over 30 now and as the cold weather and snow hit, I've not seen a single mouse in the house. I do however keep catching them outside. I now have two flip n slide traps working outside. I couldn't be happier. Thank you and Rinne Corp for testing and producing this trap. Happy New Year from

I got mine this week. I noticed that the mice were able to get to the bait without dumping them in. I think it's because they have a little bit of quality control issues with this item, where the thing isn't quite balanced right. I also noticed it seemed to almost vacuum seal itself when it rebounded. I decided to tape a penny under the flapper, so that it will actuate quicker. We will see if that works. There also seems to be some flash on the pivot points which may be keeping it from rotating freely. I will touch that up with some sandpaper, if the penny trick doesn't seem to work.
