I love the videos. Congrats on the new baby! Keep up the great work. I'd love to stop in and visit you the next time I drive to Palm Springs (April 2020). :-)
Those racoons reminded me of when I fed a family of racoons from my porch when I was little. They are so friendly they just want food and we didn't want them picking through our garbage. Sadly they never came back but I do see a different family every few years. My backyard is quite large where I live and I have about 10, 40 foot pine trees in my backyard. Really cool to see wildlife you normally wouldn't see in an urban environment. I'm going to a college in a forest based area and just yesterday I saw a family of racoons. They were so quick on their hunt for food. Such curious and hungry little critters. Glad I didn't miss this video. Really good watch. And also congratulations on behalf of the new trapper in the family.
I'm dealing with a mouse in my house right now, I think it's the Brain. I caught 3 dumber ones. I have 3 different live catch traps set up, he won't go into any of them. A havahart, one with a drop plank, and a bowl with vegetables oil in the bottom so when he goes to get the food he can't escape. Nothing is working. But he's a bold mouse. Comes out on the countertop during the day, I've seen him half a dozen times. He's just to quick to catch. Might have to try a kill trap. But it'd rather not kill it.

Loving when you do segments showing the wildlife that comes to eat the rats you've trapped. I'm doing something similar at home with a large cow skull I'm letting decompose in a cage on my farm. So far I've recorded opossums, raccoons, deer, hares and even some passerine birds that perch on top of the cage. It's fascinating getting to see all the critters that come to check things out!
Like the auto-reset mouse/rat trap. Quite an ingenious invention. The water trap serves 2 purposes ... 1. You do not have to handle live biting and scratching animals that you may get an infection from. 2. No rats making distress sounds or emmitting odors of distress.

Try this for poison oak (PO), I'm allergic and this works for me, it eliminates the oils that cause a reaction: After you have been exposed to PO rinse off the skin with cold water, no soap, no hot water. Soap will get rid of your own oils that help protect you and cold water will close the pores on your skin sealing it from the PO. A cold stream works really well.
I've never heard of you until I needed to catch an errant mouse living in my bathroom cupboard. You seem like a genuine and kind man. Your family is beautiful. Subbed.

Nobody gonna talk about how surprised they were when a deer popped up on the trail cam
Deer. On a trail cam. Nothing could surprise me more!
Bless that fan for being able to bring you this trap.
I think this is my favorite style of trap right next to the delirium,
Great man , great dad , great content !
Congrats on your new baby and great vid!
I hope his pet rat gets treats for their help
I'm 73 and I love to watch your videos.
Congratulations on the new baby. May the Lord bless you all.
FINALLY.
Today’s video!
I've never heard of you until I needed to catch an errant mouse living in my bathroom cupboard. You seem like a genuine and kind man. Your family is beautiful. Subbed.

Congratulations on your 4th child brother. God bless you and your beautiful family
Hey Shawn we are taking our 3 kids to South Africa in Feb for a temple dedication. I am hoping they learn something there!
The trash pandas are adorable. ❤ Felt bad for the pig hybrid one who missed out a rat when his mate got the last one. At least he got to take it out on the camera lol.
You had the truck since college?! SHOW US! Could you do a quick walk around it? I'm a car guy, and love when someone keeps something beyond the payments because it was a good vehicle. As a viewer from nearly the beginning, it would be so interesting to me and I'm sure a bunch others. 👍
3:30 "he's not too happy about testing this trap out. We'll go put him back in his cage." *angry squeak*
When a rodent gets caught what do they say?
Oh rats
"SHAWWWWWWWNNNN!!!!!"
*Papyrus is fuming*
0:37 “Im going to need something a little bigger”
Me: Bigger or Supersized? Thats bigger than a baby itself
“I don’t know if rats like bacon” phssss even vegans like bacon
😂🤣🤣
20 year old South African woman here! I've been watching since the beginning of last year
