Also, I agree that cooking for one is the worst! My husband passed away a little over a year ago, and it’s been a difficult and painful adjustment. Fixing meals for one is just another daily reminder (as if I could possibly forget!) of my loss.

I was wondering what happened to you doing your detox. I'm looking forward to it. I've been a tad naughty with what I consider junk food.
But I have to say, I don't drink soda often but that sprite chill and coconut Dr Pepper at amazing.
Again, I look forward to joining you and cheering you on with whatever you choose to do.
For me and my health and my blood sugars, I need to be almost carnivore.
Artificial sugars actually give me blood sugar lows, not immediately but after time: it's weird.
And my emergency sugar is honey.
But I've been off track as I have said and need to get cleaned up again.
