Joe needs to buy all return pallets. Period.
he probably will
You would only say that until a pallet from Lover's Lane shows up for auction.
The STRAPS!!!!
The straps were supposed to go back on the trucks to the warehouse. They shipped them back in a return box which is supposed to hold small RTV (Return To Vendor)items.
The straps are not return items. As a former HD receiving associate I am still laughing about that and the number of emails I have read from corp. requesting the return of the truck straps. We now know where some of them have ended up.
LMAOOOOOOO
Where can I buy these pallets?
I’m going to personally watch this video 1 MILLION TIMES!!!!! I wanna see you unpack a litteral truck load of items.
I'm just leaving it playing on my phone while I do other stuff 😂
It's gotten 8 thousand views in the 23 minutes and 49 seconds it took me to watch it. That's over 200 days before it hits a million. I've got four devices plus my phone. I'll do what I can.
Needs to be off unique network IP addresses. Not just devices. :(
@@ThePcProGamerz I also have a VPN
@@jeffscott3186 has to be unique device with unique MAC, on unique accounts. You can get multiple views from a single IP address, just as you can get multiple views from one account or one device using multiple accounts. But, after 2 or 3 views, your view will no longer count.
you would need to create a virtual machine, spoof the hardware ID, use a VPN, and dont sign in to youTube or use a different account for every single view+device+IP
Babe wake up John bought another pallet!!
Me "babe leave me alone for half hour, I GOTTA see this! Get your mum to pick the kids up" 😂
I had the wife bring the MiL to the airport so I could watch this. Today is going to be a good day.
Babe wake up, people are using tired memes again.
... and then your right hand sprung into life!
What's with all these partners sleeping so much?
The stock taking company I worked for had a neat trick for counting hardware you weigh the total and weigh single screw/bolt and do the math when counting millions saves you hours
go away bot. you're not fooling anyone.
@@dement3djoker That is the general way to 'count' things like screws.
As a former employee of Home Depot, sometimes we would RTV or "Return To Vender" items that were just returned for unexpected reasons with the item completely unused or displays when new items came out. The Spax screws were more than likely put in the Husky tool box by receiving before being sent out because Spax was dropped by Home Depot.
So where is the contest on viewers guessing how many screws are in the bin for a laser level :) hahaha
Imma guess 512 let me know how I did.
673 is my guess
its 4

Funny how those ratchet straps make us laugh. After we get our goods from the store, we put them away and box them. Once the box is filled, they usually send the items back in a return trailer or UPS. It's an intriguing unintentional freebie.
Yup cheap vs expensive beginner to pro tool boxes.... Like a tool box for just a random home owner to a tool box for the guy who fixes everything! ❤❤
Weigh 10 different screws and get the avg. Weigh all the screws all together and there's your screw count give or take a few.
Edit:
I worked at a hardware store and seen Hillman reps do the inventory like this.
used to use a similar method to count stacks of cardboard. see how many is in an inch then measure the height of the stack
We always do that when we do inventory. Our scales even have a function for it so you don't have to calculate anything.
DAMMIT I WAS LATE! 😂🤣 Just commented the same (Except I said 20 because depending on the scale)
They have to be sorted first. It’s a few different types. At that point, you could quickly just count each stack.
ah! you beat me to it.
Lock Picking Lawyer here and today I show you how I can open John Malecki's safe with a pair of Shop Shades in under 3 minutes...
just as an aside, a safe isnt just to prevent theft, most of them are actually more to protect documents and such from fire damage, the (easy) theft prevention is just a bonus ;)
If they're fire rated.
You can bolt them to the floor.
Safe's are a theft deterrent. Fireproofed metal cabinets are to protect from fire.
The fact that some safe's work as a fire-proofing is the bonus here, not the vice versa. That is why safe's are rated by the time it takes a professional safe cracker to get into it, and not the duration of fire exposure they protect from.
That being said, this safe wouldn't even protect from fire that well, probably. I mean, it has plastic and even a BATTERY totally exposed in front. In a fire the battery will turn into a bomb.
No matter what, an unwieldy safe that weights a bit is harder to steal than the money/jewelery/documents/whatever inside it would be. That's why a safe, even if technically can be taken by the thief, is still protective. Because a safe NEVER is meant to prevent theft. It always was and always will be meant to give time for guards/police to get to catch the thief before they manage to get to the inside. If your only method of protection is a safe...you're doing it wrong.
I have a fire rated safe specifically for important documents, but they're usually only rated like 30-60 minutes if they're not super expensive. But I like to use my other safe to keep stuff out of my kids hands that I don't want them to touch or know about.
The energy when you guys are opening good pallets is off the chain. 😂 everyone is just super happy
Working at home Depot, the discounted and damaged stuff were damaged in store or shipping and likely not sold to customers, the stuff with RLC tags are more then likely customer returns
for the cart with wheels some cut down 1x4s on the sides of the bottom will help prevent it from buckling since it's already been bent in. I did some thinner 2x2 angle iron nut and bolted on my old one. stiffened it right up.
We use that Husky job box for my son's toy box. I told my wife I finally found my perfect job, opening pallets of returned tools from all my favorite stores LOL
John I adore the spirit you provide and I'm dfaf about your instruments. Thank you very much!
Those straps are how they strap down pallets in the back of the dry van trailers. It was definitely put on there by accident. They're normally at the shippers. They'll secure the load and the seal the doors. I'm a truck driver and that's what we use
John I dfaf about your tools, I love the energy you bring, thank you soooo much!!!
Hilarious! It's like Christmas as a 9 year old... but by proxy. Thanks for a great start to the day.
Had 2 of those husky boxes for years while I traveled as a millwright, one for smaller tools and work related stuff and the other for clothes they held up well even left the tailgate down and dropped it out the truck at 30 and it was good
First time checking out the channel. Legit breakdown for sure. Im digging the 1st Cav flag next to the Air Force one too!
That Husky job box now serves as my son's play box. I told my wife I have got my perfect job, opening pallets of returned tools from all my favorite retailers lol.
Oh I have one of those husky storage boxes on wheels, it's pretty great. Had it for ~8 years outside exposed to the elements and it's held up fine.
15:31 the little thing is part of the locking bar that is supposed to swing down to let you lock the drawers shut, those were the things you called the "extra slides"
Those husky tough boxes are pretty solid. We use them in my unit, it makes a good range box and they’ve been beaten to hell, dropped out of aircraft, and filled with all sorts of nefarious tools and they still work fine after years of abuse at the hands of my platoon everywhere from Iraq to Bulgaria to NC.
Love that there’s no ads but only shop shades ads. I think it’s gonna take me a few more video’s and I’ll buy Shop Shades
My friends and i also saw a box, my friend said ‘i can fit there’ and indeed he does
1 week before this video was posted, i just purchased about 17 pallets from home depot return product. This is a wonderful way to renovate a home or stock up on tools. I got enough tile and flooring to re floor my entire home, garage and outbuilding... for just slightly more then he payed for this video.
"Have you ever seen someone get this excited about dollies? My workshop is jealous! 🤣🛒"
application video, very practical for everyone, thank you,I love this your video
Great content thanks for sharing
I love these videos. I have learner alot from this channel❤
Hell yeah, I love these videos.
Thanks for the video John
I look forward to these videos every week. It’s like Christmas for our viewing pleasure.
Love your videos man. Share them all with my uncle, he's also a fellow wood worker, although not as great as you. (Don't tell him I said that)
Thanks for the vids, keep em coming.
E-Track bits can be bought at some home depots.... One can cut down chunks of rail, or get individual connectors.... I used some 16' straps to tie down sets of shelves....
I have that same job box for lugging my guitar gear around and its A+ awesome
This has been one of the best videos
Love that nows theres an app. As soon as you said it I had to download it.
6:56 fun fact: In Europe you can't buy just one or two return pallets.
It's either 4 pallets or truckload (32 pallets) and those cost about 5-30k€
Depends on the country I guess, you can definitely buy single pallets in Ireland and the UK as ive seen ones for sale from Argos and the range from time to time.
❤ this and the anticipation of weather its worth it or not
Best pallet video so far! 🎉
Definite yes on the tool chest comparison. Could have snap on, husky, general and whatever brand lowe's sells
Regarding the bolts: Presuming they are same. Once you know how much each item weighs, weigh the entire batch and divide the total weight by the weight of a single unit. simplifies inventory a great deal.
Funny how you said the husky rolling site box is actually really or at least the older version I've been using for almost ten years. I did residential reroofs and we used it to hold our 4 nail guns, extension cords, air hoses, skil saw, gas blower and two sets of tool bags and all the hand tools we ever needed for a four man crew and even a spare box of coil nails and a couple bricks of 5×7 tin shingles. I know that sounds like I'm lieing but it even held our emglo air compressor from time to time and it's currently being used to hold two coil nailers, a senco m2, bostitch framing nailer, two brad nailers, narrow crown stapler, 2 50ft yellow jacket extension cords, 100ft 1/2" air hose, 3 50ft 1/4" air hose, 1/4 sheet sander, 6 1/2 skil saw, 7 1/1 skil saw, ryobi 18v 1/2" drill, milwaukee 4 1/2 angle grinder, and a ton of hand tools including vice grip clamps, speed squares, rafter square, hand saw, 3 flat bars, cats paw, multiple putty knives, utility knives, utility blades, 4 1/2" grinder blades, caulk8ng gun and multiple tubes of Caulking. I can't say enough good things about them they just aren't the biggest so you have to organize to get more in than you first think you will.
I Love John Malecki Unscrewed Videos
Those tool bags make great fishing tackle bags...i use one in my kayak
For the bolts: Assuming they're all the same. Weigh one to get the weight per item, then weigh the entire lot and divide by the single unit weight. Makes inventory waaaaaay easier.
Love the video!!
I have that 24" top box the one that is 138, I bought it 5 years ago and had coupons. I bought it and the 5 drawer bottom for around 200 bucks cause the combo was on sale and the coupons. its lasted perfect and still works great.
this is becoming my new favorite channel
Nice as always!
I work at HD... These are RTV pallets... So yes, returns. Also, those US Cargo Control straps are usually meant to be sent back on the returns pallets so the Reverse Logistics Center (RLC) can ship them back to our DCs for the trucks
great vid like always
Thoroughly convinced they saw the address for shipping and made sure to make it good so more people buy them
Dude that rigid cooler was probably mine. I bought it in a rush and didn’t notice it was a actual damn cooler. The rigid packout system has been my mobile mechanic setup for 6 years and I love it.
edit I bought a cooler about a year ago to replace my middle crate for a sealed box but ended up buying a cooler. I should have noticed because of the color.
The king👑 of youtube is back and a another good video
You can insulate and modify that first storage box (after the dollies) into a job site power station. If you do solar looks big enough for the Jackery solar(? I think that's the brand??) and some outlets.
where do you buy the return pallets from?
Ok Mr Malecki that was a damn fine haul. I love this channel and have loved seeing it grow. Congratz team.
I love husky storage I have. It's beyond rock solid.
They sell the tracks for those straps at harbor freight. Very handy
I work at some Home Depots in California and those bolts are all more than $1 a pop. The shortest ones they make are still at least 90¢+ and those looked to be longer ones.
To the right person that drawer is a small jackpot.
😄👍
Love ❤️ these videos
Those are great Dollies!
The feel good video of the year
Those straps are what are supposed ti keep the products safe in the van trailers we use. (I delivered for home depot a few times) so probably return those to the store. Us truckers need them. They are like gold to us.
I have that safe and love it.
I have the narrower brother of that Husky box and I use it to transport my desktop when I need to. Absolutely more than robust enough for all sorts of equipment. Those sentry safes are trash. It's a like 1/16'th inch layer of steel on both sides of some fire proofing material. You can cut through the whole thing in less than 30 seconds with a circ saw. Like, in half.
That box of straps are the straps our distribution center uses for their trucks to the stores. I assume someone sent them to the repairs and liquidation center were returns are sent instead of shipping them back to the distribution center as we are supposed to
Awe man, tool box video!!!!
I totally slept already! Let's go Sunday 🎉
I want all that stuff!!! I didnt know ryobi made those boxes!
Finally another pallet video !
Lol about those ratchet straps..lol when we receive our loads in the store we set them aside and box them..when the box is full they usually either ups or send them in a return trailer lol..interesting accidental freebie lol
Yep, my understanding is they were shipped back via UPS to the RDC, regardless it means the RLC never opened the pallet
@jaykoerner probably..lol well atleast my island of misfit toys are serving good purpose lol
Lol…lol!
I'm a month away from pulling the trigger on a larger tool box, one of the big old mechanic sized ones. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a video on cheap vs expensive Tool chests!!!
😂😂😂 Love the action packed unveiling 😂
The laser levels are cool! Would be even more awesome if they were in Packout boxes.
Definitely do the toolbox comparison! And you should buy a pallet from like an Agway if you can.
If you have a scale weight one screw then dump all of them in a box to weigh them together. Quickest way to count something like that if you dont want to count them individually
I have that Rigid vacuum. Have to buy some new filters though.
I appreciate the video. John
I like the ryobi link drawers wish I could find them in my area always out of stock online
Let's go. John you gotta give all those bolts to Lou and get him to weld something cool with the welder from the temu pallet. Next return pallet Amazon and woodcraft 😂😂🏴👍
Great video
Would love to see you compare 10-in-1/15-in-1 type tools with single use tools and see if they are worth it.
Definitely would like to see different tool storage reviewed
Bro I know you’re probably not going to see this but if you don’t want those workbenches I will definitely take them. 💯 I’ll make them to good use, I’m in the army and bought a house with a decent sized garage finally and have been looking for a workbench.
You absolutely have to build a sweet desk with a hidden safe in it now!
149!!!! John you killed it!!
Hell ja, ich mag diese Videos.
Absolutely we need to see if those snap on boxes are truly with the extra $50,000
Send him out for pallets in the future. Excellent picks. If you want to send me the Ryobi Linkx bows, on laser level, and the cooler,I’m happy with that.
Those 4 drawer and the roller chest go together btw
The bearings on those hand truck wheels are almost always crap, but there are good bearings available if you know the right part number.
Get a Menard's pallet next!!Let's GOOOOOO!!😂😂
16:22 If you don't know what to do with those Ryobi link system drawers, I'd love it to get two of them.
If you look at the tags on a lot of that stuff if it ends in change that is zero anything 02, 06, Then those are things that basically had gone down through all of the markdowns and they were told to get rid of them.
i got a smokin deal on a milwaukee wheelbarrow at HD once. Logo looked way different. Wondering if it was from europe or something. it was all red at least. They actually had a few of them when I bought mine
