This is the COOLEST video You've done yet Casey! Grumpy is definitely deserving of this and you may not be blood relatives, but you're definitely family!
Caring for your neighbor is an OLD American value that fell by the wayside very fast throughout the past couple of decades. We use to be the greatest country overall and it was because of values like that. I'm so damn happy to see this and it restores a little faith back in me that has been gone for a while now.
In dutch, there is a proverb that goes like: "Beter een goede buur, dan een verre vriend". Which translates to: "Better a good neighbor than a distant friend".

Casey, if this video has been special for you, I think the vast majority of us who watch your videos will agree that it has been almost as special for us, seeing the excited hug he gave you when you told him that the car was his. , and the joy on his face is priceless .
As I have already said before, the "content creators", apart from making us viewers feel part of your family, have recorded moments that will make the memory more real when the people who appear in those videos are no longer there.
here in Spain it is 1 in the morning, and this video has made me go to bed with tears in my eyes and a smile on my mouth, thank you very much for sharing moments like this :)
Aww..what a nice comment 👍
Oh yes
One thing is for sure, we don't need to pretend that Grumpy deserves the car. Grumpy, have fun with this car and Casey, thank you for making Grumpy's wish come true!
These videos are deeply reminding me how much I enjoyed the cars in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
... now I have to go rewatch that.
I hate Casey Ladelle for buying Grumpies car.
This was truly a moving show of appreciation, and I am sure Grumpy is the most deserving recipient.
Yet another reason to hate Casey.
So easy to hate.
Yeah, that Casey guy is a total dick for buying Grumpy's dream car right out from under him. This was the last straw, i'm unsubbing now.
Johnny, YT shows you posted your comment 6d ago. How is that possible when the video just came out 2h ago. At least in the US.

He was holding back those tears! That was awesome Cassie. You never said that you were good at recovery, but you're king on being an awesome human!
I'll second that with no reservations!!! Gotta to go dab my eyes and blow my nose!
Wow I’m 67 retired and you made me tear up pretty bad my wife made fun of me. You and your wife are the best special neighbor to that man.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
i'm 65 and glad to know i am not the only one who was brought to tears😭
Grumpy must be 80+. He looks very very fit, incredible!
“Friends are the family you pick for yourself.” I saw this in a wall plaque somewhere and never forgot it. And how true it has become.
Because, after all, you are stuck with your family but you have picked your friends and they have picked you.
We (Netherlands) have a saying: better a good neighbor than a faraway friend. You guys are very good neighbors and the best of friends. Can’t cherish that enough! Oh, and you both (and Carina and Carla) have big hearts!
In dutch, there is a proverb that goes like:
"Beter een goede buur, dan een verre vriend".
Which translates to:
"Better a good neighbor than a distant friend".
I'm so glad I gave you a second chance. When Matt first sent me to your channel a few years back, I thought you were too goofy and just trying to be Matt in the PNW. Later on I watched a few more vids of yours and became hooked. I never was going to 'join' any channel (or Patreon), as I am on a fixed income and cannot afford it. They you started your Patreon with the idea of helping others and made it so that I could help out, even if just a teeny little bit. Makes me proud to be able to help you do the things for others that you do, especially this one! You looked so happy to be able to do this for Grumpy (and he is extremely happy!), but I still think you are goofy, just a lovable goof.
Who are you? A neighbor?
I had a neighbor just like that , and they are priceless.
Ok u got me to subscribe again with this one. It's cool to see yall doing for others. Later

I hate Casey LaDelle for giving me the biggest grin i have ever had in my life ! Enjoy the car , Grumpy !
the money you paid for that car can not ever begin to equal the value of a great friendship and the kindness you bestowed for your friend, your adopted family. GREAT VIDEO CASEY.
Love, love, love this, what a beautiful gesture
Grumpy we love you and thanks for being you!
"Thank you for being you!" - I guess we all can give that one right back to you, Casey.
His reaction when you gave it to him was money well spent. Enjoy it Grumpy.... Casey you are a good man.
You two (your families) won the lottery on being neighbors. I really wish you all a the best, and continued happiness.
God bless y’all, and God bless you for such a kind deed.
The guy who was selling the car could have easily kept that box of extra parts and sold the items on Ebay. What a stand up dude to give the whole box to Grumpy. Watching these type of videos makes me realize that there are still good people in this world. With all the shit goin on in this world sometimes I need to watch a video like this to put a smile back on my face.
Can only thank God for guys like these .
Kinda grumpy myself now , wife and kids don't need me anymore, after 50 years of marriage I'm left all alone now without a tomorrow.
Life's a bitch sometimes.

Aww, that is fantastic. What a wonderful thing to do. I look forward to seeing Grumpy drive it.👏❤
Dammit Casey you made this old man cry. Ya'll are good people and that's something kinda rare these days. Glad to see you don't take it for granted.
his reaction was so worth the wait man, that was adorable haha i love when grumpy grandparents go soft
" We dont need to be related to be family " was the most beautiful thing i heard on youtube in years. God Bless you and everyone around you Casey.
That's the funny thing we are all related and family on this world, It's Gods blessing that makes that possible.
The best gift is one that someone wants.
Everyone else on here has shared the same emotions I had, so I will say this: That was a beautiful Model A! The owner made some safety modifications without detracting from the car's character too much. I'm sure Grumpy will love it! YOU are a hero, Casey!
17:54 the way he said "side curtains" nearly broke my heart. I felt everytime he looked at those curtains and dreamed he would have them
I have watched this channel for a few years now and never understood the haters. You do a wonderful job of caring about those around you, that must be why they hate. From one grumpy old man to that caring soul Grumpy, his kindness has always shown thru on here. You Mr. Casey have to be on cloud nine right now man. The greatest feeling I have ever felt is when I see what a good deed does for other deserving folks and it shows thru that you get the same feeling. Keep up the great deeds, it can never be wrong no matter what others think.
Very Well Said!!
I got teary eyed, when Grumpy got teary eyed. Casey, this is just awesome.
Casey, you’re an evil evil man. A extraordinary kind and caring evil man. So cool!
God is good. Congratulations to you both. That sun setting as he's rolling it off the trailer was magic.🌟♥️ 🍻
Someone is cutting onions around me... What a wonder gesture for an incredible man.
A wonderful thing you have done here for Mr. And Mrs. Grumpy. I loved seeing this. Thanks Casey for your generosity.
Casey, you are an amazing person. The world needs more people like you.
What a am a zen thing you did for him. Made his night
Couldn't have been a nicer guy to have gifted that car too and couldn't have been a nicer family than yours Casey to have gifted it!
You're good people. Both of you.
that is so true. sometimes the best family you can have are those you meet along the journey of life.
You can pick your friends but not your family
How great he Grumpy knows the Car very well , Legend Ausome Video guys ♥️🎉
I’m Not crying, You are❤ Casey you are an awesome human being 😊 Grumpy was overwhelmed with your generosity and kindness. I know that it meant the world to you to be able to gift that car to him. God bless.❤🙏

I liked cwhen ge said there wasca white line and he was gunna shoot you if you crossed it. Bushyboy Oz
My first vid of yours. Thank you sir for being a helper. Nothing asked, nothing expected. Just love of everyone!
Too much joy. Too much happy! Beautiful. Now off to grunt and break stuff.
My first video too!! Awesome !! I know a Grumpy myself and will have to give him a shout ASAP! Good Job Casey!! 🤗🙏. Amen!!!
It was my 1st time seeing this channel as well. Made tears in my eyes.
If only this was how the world was all of the time.
My first too and now I’m subscribing ❤
My first video on this channel too. Won't be my last. Now a sub. Hope there won't be too much cutting onions videos. Runs the mascra. lol Thank you for showing us the kindness the world must have.
I don't, as a rule, ever comment on these things, but this is a most touching and heartfelt video. Thank you Casey for keeping the human touch alive and well in these troubled times. Thank you
That is the best thing i have ever seen on your channel. I love to see people do things for people that change their lives.
Thank you Casey, such a really nice thing to do. Hope Grumpy and his wife have many, many years of happy motoring ahead of them.
AND THIS. This right here is why I Love your channel. I really like people getting what they deserve. Congrats Grumpy! Hope you wear it out at least twice!
I had a grumpy in my life. I helped him as much as I could. He passed a few years ago. True friendship is extremely hard to find. I miss the man every day.
Thankfully memories last forever you will see him again one day this is how i remember america help because their deserving and your situation allows you to do so
❤
It's what we do for them while they are alive that matters . I lost my befriended disabled neighbour a few years back also , I couldn't afford much being a single Dad looking after a Child with ASD , but I made him really nice dinners often and bought him groceries at Christmas . It meant the world to him that he wasn't simply forgotten , and that means more than the money spent . What a great video from a great guy , Casey 👍
RIP Mark's grumpy.
I bought my Grumpy a cell phone when she moved away from me and her daughter wouldn't let her call me. She passed way a few years ago, on the 10th day before my birthday. Now I find dimes everywhere. Dimes from angels.
That's an awesome thing you did for him buying him a car that he always wanted.
I'm a firm believer in "you get out what you put into life" That's one of the nicest things I've ever seen done. Congrats to you and Grumpy.
I especially liked the part when you were signing the paperwork and grumpy was in the background feeling the car and still checking it out knowing he wished it was his! You are an awesome man casey I hate you for making me cry.
Grumpiness is projection of sensitivity.
Grumpy people are emotional and they hide behind anger so they don’t show weakness.
If only women and strangers that are too scared to get intimate with people out in public that have just had enough with people and finally act out understood this... 😓😞
The softest creatures have the hardest shells
This is my husband described exactly!!
Hey, I resemble that remark!
This grumpy 70 year old fart can confirm.
Two top notch men right there. Awesome video.
Miss my dad so much. He left me a 1966 Mustang. Tears of love watching this video. God Bless.
Thats an awesome car. Dad must have been a cool dude.
I miss mine too.
66 Mustang was my first car ..... one of my biggest mistakes was trading it in for a 68 GTO....
My pops gave me a 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix (J). Salute 🫡 POPS, GRUMPY and ALL THE ELDERS!

Such an awesome thing to do for Grumpy!
You just can't help yourself. And that's a good thing.
It's people like you, your wife, Grumpy and his wife who keep the light on and keep hope flowing in the world.
Thank you, all of you.
Awesome friends are worth it. Keep as close as you can.
Casey I'm crying and I'm 68 years old you put grumpy in a special place in he's life thank you Casey. !!!!
He was grumpy, happy and bashfull all at once
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That comment is sheer perfection! Thank you. It really put a smile on my face and I hope you don't mind if I steal it for those happy occasions when it fits.
When he handed you his parts catalog “it’s an old one but I had it laying around,” tears in my eyes.
I love seeing classics saved. I have a 63 ford f100 I don’t have to money to save. Thankfully it’s in okay condition and I might have time before it starts really going bad.
The look when you said you were buying it on his face was of disappointment but giving it to him he looked like he didn't believe you at first
Grumpy deserves this car, thanks Casey for your generosity
Casey certainly did a fantastic job for grumpy . You don't see this sort of things these days
Every neighbour should be like Grumpy and Carla. The world needs more people like you. Thank you for sharing this amazing story.
That was a really great thing that you did.. made me cry lol. nice to see that there are still people like you in the world.
Grumpy looked so gutted. I knew he was getting it but still felt terrible for him for a little bit. That car clearly went to the right person which is what every car guy wants
I watch loads of recovery channels to see people doing recovery . I watch this channel to see people being nice to each other
Amen!!
My favorite episodes are the Grumpy episodes. Long live Grumpy!!!!!
