Radiator Springs Racers is a slot car dark ride attraction in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure. The attraction features third-generation Test Track technology, an attraction located at Epcot in Walt Disney World. Radiator Springs Racers is themed to the fictional world from Pixar's Cars. The attraction is the most expensive to be built in the entire Disneyland Resort, one of the most expensive attractions Disney has ever built, and one of the most expensive theme park attractions in the world at an estimated cost of over $200 million, which took up about 18% of the entire cost of the $1.1 billion expansion plan for Disney California Adventure Park.
The ride, along with the rest of the Disney California Adventure multi-year expansion, was announced on October 17, 2007. However, the first indication of the attraction and the new land was some concept art published in the Dreaming section of The Walt Disney Company's 2006 annual report. By late 2009, construction on the attraction and the land within had begun, taking two and a half years to build. At the "What's Next?" presentation at Disney California Adventure on June 11, 2010, Imagineer Kathy Mangum gave a brief rundown of the storyline for the attraction. Ride testing began in early 2012 with soft openings beginning in the spring. The ride officially opened to the public on June 15, 2012 with lines up to six hours.

Carsland, one of the best things to happen to California Adventures. This ride is so fun! The wait, not so much. Single riders line is the way to go.

Literally the line for this line is ridiculous like about 2 hours if there ain't a lot of people but I really like it, especially the racing part at the end
Coolest ride in Disneyland Resort!!!! This ride just cost $200 million for the expansion of Disney California Adventure in $1.1 Billion budget.

Best ride ever
I went about a month after the ride opened. Waits were around 4 hours. We only did FP, got up at 6 to be at DCA when it opened and waited about 45 to get a FP and they were usually sold out for the whole day after an hour or do. It was so worth it!! Such an awesome ride.
Kept thinking "OH! My 5 year old godson would LOVE this..." And then it got to the racing part and I was like "Hell no!"

I got to DCA half an hour before it opened in December of 2013 and the fastpass line was already at Tower of Terror. Also the line when DCA opened was 3 hours. Luckily I get on the singe rider line

Not all the time. It depends on how packed the park is that day. I've got an annual pass so I go like 3 times a month if not more. Besides you don't go to Disneyland/California adventure without a game plan or else you'll be waiting in lines forever. It's their own fault if they don't know that.

Everyone knows the fastest way to get around a disney park is fastpass. If they don't know that then they didn't plan their trip very well. Again that's their own fault.

It's not a matter of going everyday. Who goes anywhere without first doing some research on the place your going? Why would you go to Disneyland without planning the trip? it doesn't matter if someone's never been their before. If you go to Disneyland without knowing, hearing it from others or having looked it up, the best way to get around disneyland you can't blame anyone but yourself.

I always say at the side, it’s actually pretty comfortable. But it looks uncomfortable.

Went October 2015 got a fast pass around lunchtime for a 6pm ride on a Thursday. Wait was around 15 min but standby people were waiting an hour.

SOMEONE HELP!!! I'm going to California adventure soon, I hatteee fast rides and rolller coasters, I was able to go on Indiana jones and star tours but that's the closest I will go to a roller coaster. Is this ride gonna be ok for me? Is it fast? Is it scarier than Indiana jones?

The first time I went on it i thought it was scary but fun. OMG that ride is so fast. I was so scared screaming like a bitch but to be honest I hate stomach feelings or butterflies. I am not going this shit again because I am going to faint.

I know exactly how you feel Miryam.. I was so scared the entire time, I couldn't even scream, my hands were numb by the time I got off of the ride, from holding on so damn tight. I hated it.

The Damned Damsel take the single rider line next time you visit radiator springs. It's a Much shorter and quick way to get on the ride.
I went there, it was horirible, i cried, i wanted to get off already, when i started th ride i just cried so hard, even the race part! DONT RIDE IT PLEASE! U WILL CRY HORRIBLEY SO MUCH HORRIBLENESS
