Disney did a great job on the whole street leading to the ride. It's amazing, especially at night.
Can confirm still amazing
Can also confirm it’s amazing
And it still is amazing
It is in fact still amazing
after all these years its still amazing
The ultimate power you feel when you win the race is the best.
Are there two tracks throughout the whole ride? How do they get two cars on the race track
Cause it doesn’t look like two tracks till the end.
Is the runner random?
durrBubbles honestly idk, I think one goes before the other and then the second catches up at the two different scenes, the paint job or the tires and then you race.
@PhreshFunk i didnt see where it split...
durrBubbles @2:06 you can see that you can see the track splitting into two sides. One to the tires and on to the paint-job
This is actually super adorable, well put together and fun for all ages. The little ones for sure would totally get a kick out of it.
I cried extremely hard because it was terrifyingly fast for me when I was like 9
Fr😂
My brother loves this ride
The drops are pretty intense, I wouldn’t say all little kids will enjoy it lol. I’ve seen kids crying
I’m not even a fan of the Cars movies but even I think this ride looks great.
Your Lord and Savior how dare you disrespect cars
I've been on it, and it was pretty great! The line is always really long tho, so get fastpasses 😉
Your Lord and Savior are these cars self driven or do you have to control it? i know i went to a car ride at the other park and i could barely drive it
Q Nguyen it’s self driven
It goes faster then it looks i been on it
I've been watching a bunch of videos of this ride, looking at overhead shots and schematics, and one thing that's really impressive is how it's designed to conceal so much. You have no idea how much the tracks and queue are intermingling until you see it from above, because the sight lines are intricately controlled. It's a masterful use of space. RSR is just awesome in every way. Thanks.
I've loved this ride since the first time I went on it. My favorite memory, however, was getting to experience it with my niece and nephews. They all loved it so much. It was one of the last big experiences I got to have with them before they moved out of state. I'll forever get a little teary-eyed, riding this ride, because of the memory of the joy they had while on it. ❤
This is one of the best rides I’ve ever been on between universal and Disney. It’s breathtakingly beautiful.
Damn it! These cars seems scarily realistic!!! How did they manage to recreate screen accuracy there???!!!
Miłosz Kowalczuk because their Disney
Authenticity is a priority for Disney Parks.
Money
Bbp NM .
Disney basically ownes everything, Vice media,ABC,A&E, fox(and theres way more i dont know). So if Disney makes a rollercoster type ride, you know its going to be good.
Haven't been to Disneyland is awhile but always wanted them to bring this to Disney world. What a cool ride. Really cute.
Just go on Test Track. Same type of cars -- just with a different theme.
Same. If it comes to Florida then I’m in peace
It’s basically test track but cars 😊
The part where you get chased by frank will always hold a special place in my heart
That part is slightly terrifying
The best ride in DisneyLand. The wait time is always long!
Funny for me, because the line was like 20 minutes long when I went on it
@@davidgordillo6583 nice!
@@davidgordillo6583there statement is true
I've ridden this ride and it is absolutely as much fun as it looks. be advised that the race is actually technically real. each car is a slot racer technically with its own Drive motor. depending on how much the vehicle weighs it could either win or lose a race at any given time. in the actual racing portion of the ride there are no speed sensors in the straightaways to control or slow down or speed up either vehicle, however the vehicles are limited to the maximum speed they can reach. the first iteration of this ride was test track at Walt Disney World Florida.
This is my main favorite ride at Disneyland so perfectly designed it's for all ages the animatronics are the best!
When I went there last summer I felt like a little kid again going on all the rides in Cars Land. Best day ever
I was 8 when Cars first came out, I'm now 26 and to this day it's still one of my favourite movies ever! This is deffo on my bucket list 🤣
0:34 the bridge/waterfall right here is some of the best forced perspective I've seen at Disney
Wow...that ride looks like a legit 10+!
Because Of The Drops, This Ride Was The Bane Of My Existence When I Was Younger.
I Would Always Absolutely Refuse To Set Foot Anywhere Near It, But I Still Liked Cars Land.
This has got to be one of the best rides ever.
This ride looks super fun and well put together! If I ever visit I’ll make sure to go on it 👀 this sort of thing makes me excited for how rides can be in the future
Rise of the resistance
Best ride in the park by far!! Just went with my 8 year old daughter and she agrees.
I realize that EPCOT has Test Track, but i find it unbelievable WDW doesn’t have Radiator Springs.
My personal opinion wouldn’t fit.
If they built a Florida Speedway like Daytona up road.
That’ll fit with Cars Theme in Orlando.
Wish they'd re-themed Test Track as Mater's Test Garage or something, and had a smaller version of this ride. could have also themed the area around Test Track a little. Instead we got some crappy Tron/Chevrolet stripped back version.
I agree!!!!
So glad this video exists, gives me good memories from when I was 5 years old
The dips alone are worth the price of admission!
For whatever reason, I don't remember most of this ride, only the hills. It's because of that feeling in the stomach when it just floats for a sec. I'm 14, and feel entirely stupid for getting scared over this, but idk it just won't go away.
That’s the airtime! Thats what most coaster enthusiasts crave lol (it hurts for me tbh but still fun)
I’m not a fan of drops either but that part is somewhat tolerable enough for me
This ride constantly breaks down so i haven’t experienced it. Thanks for the vid.
This ride NEVER gets old! It's completely random but if you're lucky, sometimes they play "Life Could Be Dream" by The Chords while you're walking through Cars Land.
During my few days I never heard that song😢
@@Therapy_duck don't feel bad, it's completely random if/when they play it.
They play it at sunset (you can look up the official time, it's usually 2 minutes after) when they turn on the neon
@@genevieve5627 great to know, thanks!
It’s always the best when you and the others in the other car start trash talking before the race
must say, this is one of the best theme ride
MY FAVORITE RIDE EVERRR!!! 😝
THE RIDE IS A LOT OF FUN!
Thanks for the upload! Good to have relieved it after being on it a few years ago. The quality is simply incredible, and the race is a really nice fun touch, too!
THIS IS A FUN RIDE!
3:05 Boogity Boogity Boogity! Let's go racing you bunch of all stars!
This is definetly one of my favorite rides in the park! I was really scared to go on it before it started but once I got on I had a absolute blast!
The first Cars movie came out the same year that I graduated from high school. I also remember the Talladega Nights movie being in theaters during the summer as well. I think that 2006 was definitely the year of Stock Car Racing movies, it's amazing how time quickly flies. My little cousin loved the country song Life is a Highway and would not stop singing it. We even almost got kicked out of Barnes & Noble, because he was in the music area singing Life is a Highway out loud. The Cars 2 movie was good, it focused more on Meter and his spy missions. However, the plot didn't forget about Lighting McQueen and the racing event that was taking place during the movie. Radiator Spring Racers looks like a pretty cool ride, and they did a great job with bringing the Cars movie to life. I think that they could have made the racing part a full minute, instead of the short 40 seconds.
So this is just a re-imagined version of EPCOTS test track?
I like it better
Well test track is basically just a reimagined update to the old rocket rods
Love this ride very much hope to come back again to Disneyland and try this ride.
Me 2
Nice ride and attention to detail. I personally loved the "Wig-Wag" Railroad signals.
This ride looks MASSIVE
When I went on this ride I had never seen a video but I ended up loving it and forcing my family to get on 5 times 😂
A cars themed ride , Oswald?! , i gotta go to Disneyland
One of the best rides! Love it
This ride looks fantastically fun!
That looks like a very expensive ride. Sure enough saw another video saying it cost 200 million dollars. 🤑🤑
Eric in Florida it’s gotten it’s money’s worth! This ride always has very long wait times even beating out the falcon
It's in California Adventure Park you don't pay that much you get a ticket then you can go on the rides for free but you just have to pay for a ticket but it's not that expensive
@@billiezawadiuk5850 They meant expensive for the company to build, with all the scenery and animatronics, not for people riding it :)
@@maryv5815 oh ok sorry thx
Disney does a great job integrating the music and BIG SOUND in all their rides. Sound wasn't great on the vid, but I'm sure it was fantastic in the ride.
At 110.00 a pop, long lines and overcrowding, it better be good.
Cars Land Radiator Springs Tokyo Disneyland
Tokyo Disneyland Cars Land Radiator Springs
Goodbye😢😭 Attraccion Cars Land Radiator Springs
0:55 Mack Screaming version japanese
This ride is so fun I definitely recommend! But if you don’t like fast crazy stuff I don’t really recommend it. One issue is that when u r about to crash into stuff it’s terrifying.
The amount of accuracy in the whole design in this ride scared me
Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to take my daughter here but really it’s for me haha
Thank you for your comment!
Don't forget to subscribe and share ours videos :)
That ride looks fun.
My friend and I did this in July of 2018. We got the high side of the big turn. One of the best rides there. The long wait time, not so much.
Such a fun ride. Best at DCA
A wonderful ride
Did this in 2012
when the race starts, no stopping for Ice Cream bars, or Cole will be pissed. lol
That was a lot of fun. Thankyou for sharing this.
I just surprised my niece with tickets to Disneyland. Can’t wait to take her on this ride!
How was it?
@@crustycolin We had fun because we always have fun together but I will say that I will never be back to Disneyland because we only went on four rides a day because the lines were so damn long and the reservation system makes it so stressful. You’re on your phone your entire day making reservations for the rides and then only having a certain amount of time to get there. Everything is so expensive and they really try to squeeze as much money out of every guest as they can. All of the staff was miserable and yelled at my niece twice for silly little things.
@@AllisLife thats a shame. I went a week or so ago and had a great time. did you gp at the weekend?
@@crustycolin We went in the middle of summer during a weekday so I think it was probably just high season
52.4 mph back in March this year, what fun.
YES RADIATOR SPRINGS RACERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best part for me when I did this was when Frank showed up and I went "AHHH IT'S FRANK!!"
I cried after this ride 😭
Why?
They did a good job. Fast and the furious ride should do something like this
I think this would be great at Hollywood Studios because they added Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land, it would fit in really well.
And with Lightning McQueens Academy…
How fast do you go when you start racing?
Phantom67 60?
@@Missab4000 its 45 mph. I work this ride
Josh Ryan 45 mph? The cars feel and sound like 150 mph!
@@joshryan3473 do you actually feel a stomach drop when you start racing? 😭
@@strawberrymilk6752do you
Yep, this is going straight to my bucket list
That looks great!
It looks like your riding on a slot car track.
This ride is an absolute blast!!
I LOVE THIS RIDE!
I love this ride!!!😀
i remember when i rode this years ago for the first time mack’s horn scared the crap out of me because i didnt expect it lol
That looks like brilliant fun!
That’s so cool I want to go there . I wish it was in Florida -
Test Track at Epcot is very similar to this
Would this be too scary for a 4, almost 5 year old? They meet the heights requirements but have never been on a "thrill ride" before. We plan on working our way up to this ride with some other "milder" rides first, but considering the reason we are going in the first place is Lightning McQueen...grateful for insights from any parents of preschoolers/kindergartners.
It would be too scary for 4 year old me
I was on this earlier and god I had so much fun! ❤️❤️❤️
This was an amazing ride. We had a blast. Wish it were a tad longer, but ultimately, we were satisfied. I'm sorry for the folks that haven't had a chance to ride it. A few of the rides like the Guardians of Galaxy one was shutdown for "maintenance" quit often, so that sucks. Come on Disney!!! Do better!!!
im pretty sure i went when it first opened, i remember waiting two hours to get on the ride. def worth it imo
This is one of my most favorite rides ever
I remember going on this. The airtime was amazing
coming from someone who hates most rides that are too fast this one wasn't that bad. Just be aware of the speed. I totally wasn't preparing for that.
me too! i wasnt expecting the ride to be that fast
I went on this ride in Anaheim and my car won.
were you on the left or right. i think it pre determined by que order.
@@acceleracer4 I was on the left car.
When you went on the dips
*I felt that*
same🥲
theres this weird wavy road that we go through when leaving and we chant 'wavy road' at so my family and i were just going "WAVY ROAD! WAVY ROAD! WAVY ROAD!" and the other car looked concerned
such an outstanding ride
If you do not visit Disneyland often pay for the Lighting Lane (this ride has an individual lighting lane). You will not regret it and it is totally worth it. The line for this ride averages around 50 minutes and it does break down often. You cannot skip this ride in DCA!
The butterfly’s you feel tho 😖….it’s still my fav
This ride is 40mph and the mummy ride at universal hollywood is 45mph, my question is are they similar that goes 0 to that speed? the mummy scared me so bad so i wanna know if i can ride this and enjoy it,
Such a fun ride! A definite must do whenever I get the chance to go to the DL resort.

Are there any drops on this ride?
Closest you'd get is probably at 3:38, but it's very slight and not that forceful (i.e. you don't feel it all that much).
Do you know approximately what time of day this was? I wanna go on this ride when the sun in on the waterfall is this one is closer than the last video I watched.
This ride is great.and it doesn’t seem that fast like a roller coaster
This is the best ride in the whole park
1:18 How curious, Mate speaks but does not move, he just stood there, I don't know if that animatronic failed
The imagineering is amazing!
this is the test track of Disney's Californian adventure
The racing part was the best.
Attention to detail in the Disney Land is top notch.
Man, these slot car sets have gotten a lot more realistic since I was a kid.
Rather have this layout/theme instead of the Test Track at the Orlando one
Jack Schissler Test Track used to be pretty cool and then they had to go and change it.
nah test track is wayy more fun breh
Theyll likely retheme it to cars like everything else is ip once chevy contract runs out. And probably release cars 5 to make it relevant like they did with toy story land
This is what Disney used to be like. This ride belongs in Frontierland WDW. Instead, Disney plans to destroy the land, starting with Splash Mountain.
Now in 2024 they made splash mountain into Tiana’s bayou❤
HOW MUCH Did It Cost To Build That Ride ??
200 million USD
Thx
Absolutely love it!!! ^_^
