    I would expect 1 hour of a personal trainer one-on-one would cost $60-$100 per session. $8 is a bargain. And he's really attentive and supportive!

      You’d be surprised how many clients reach out for Personal Training that have no desire to change. I’m a Personal Trainer and the majority of my clients just want to throw money and hope their problems change. So when he said, ‘you’re eager to change’ I FELT THAT.

      @@foushoo oh 100%, I completely agree with you. Boundaries do have to be explained and set. What I had in mind is that there are also so many people who will just criticise people immediately, without helping them to realise why their perspectives or approaches to change need to be adjusted. One of my areas of expertise is Health & Exercise Psychology and it's quite shocking how many PTs will just shame individuals without listening to them more or providing some basic compassion - It shows just how you have to be a people-person in the field!

    Loved both of these, the first one went above and beyond, the second - a whole team working together, banter, wholesome vibes and most importantly Will being surprised throughout on how hes being pushed and taught new things just really provided that cherry on top. Just shows that no matter how long you train, there is always new things to discover, most importantly not having an oversized ego and actually appreceating is where WIll shines, mad respect.     Will, the fact that you look this YOLKED at 197 is so motivating! I'm 198 (6 and 1/2 feet and 20% body fat) and nowhere near as muscle-bound but I know with consistency and discipline I'll get to where you are! I've been training for 4-5 years now but lost track of my calorie intake since 2022 after my father passed away. Gained about 15lb in fat.. It's been really hard cutting lately but watching your videos from time to time always keeps me motivated to enjoy a healthy fitness lifestyle (that includes indulging in the occasional donut(s) every now and then, haha!). Thanks for always uploading top-tier content that keeps us smiling and motivated. You're awesome, mate! Keep it up :)

Definitely with a price tag like that and you have the deep pockets I’d personally go with the $8k for that kind of customer services they deliver too! 😎

      the 2nd guy is a typical bs personal trainer saying things like you need carbs to lose weight, fat dumbbells help recruit type 2 muscle fibers, high calorie protein shake to reduce cortisol levels. All total bs with either no or very weak scientific data. Plus that dumbbell press set was stupid. Trainers always like to have clients do weird stuff to make them look clever and unique. How do I know - yep I used to be trainer and I'd have clients do dumb stuff too.

    Btw, for the gals and for anyone really....static holds and/or pausing in an exercise are very effective. You can use a lighter weight and get the most bang for your buck when you pause and hold the weight and control the negative.

    2-3 years ago I found Will’s video about how he lost 100 lbs and it got me motivated. I’m now going to the gym 3-4 times a week lifting and am down 25 lbs while putting on muscle. 6’1 220 now with a lot more progress to go, but the fun while still insightful videos just hit so differently.

    Will im a 30 year old former Alcohol and cocaine addict, im in severe debt and currently living at my moms house. But i work 2 jobs to pay back what i owe and to help with my part of the rent, i workout 5 days a week now and in 2 years i will be debt free and have my life back again.     theyre both great for the price, what i do like about the 2nd one though is that they work on your mobility and flexibility. A lot of people that go to the gym forget how important they are, and a lot of times you don't even notice how much mobility youre lacking because you just get used to it, so having someone able to see it and try to correct it and tell you where you need help will improve your lifting a lot.

      But you have to put time and effort in finding them, and applying them.
      Trainers exist because for lot of people it's easier to have someone else couch them step-by-step.

You can literally find ANYTHING online, you can be sick and diagnose yourself and even find remedies for whatever illness you have but aat the end of the day youll still see a doctor.

If you have a literal full team of experts dedicated to getting you from point A to point B, you’re gonna get there faster than doing it all by yourself. Trial and error is a pretty slow process and people who can afford $8,000 for personal training probably don’t have a whole lot of free time to spend on fitness RUclips.

    i paid around 700 euro for my 3 month personal trainer. we talked every day, and check my kcal and macros everyday too. We check my weight once in week. ( median weight ) and it was awesome! best choices. i lost 10kg ( had lot of problems first month ) and my Bench, Squat, Deadlift was like +300% improve.

    When I did it it, I charged my clients between $15-30 per session depending on the package. I think I provided good quality training and tips, so it’s not always about the price tag. Just find a trainer willing to give their clients the best possible service because they understand and work with you

    you know the 8,000 dollar trainer really knows what's he's doing when he's holding your wrists in the movements and not your elbows. We learned that in our exercise science class in college. Super dope.

    that first guy probably took the cake though the second trainer would make more sense to someone with a "status/title" i got the feeling that the first guy would work for 95% of gym bro's but for elite/"status" individuals one would need the more extensive approach.... either way great job on sliding them tests in and keeping your cool/calm
