    Not sure why, but I find that very encouraging. I might not beat someone who's been training since they could walk, but compared to myself a year ago, I'm the best version of me that's existed so far.

    •  3 месяца назад +44

      I think it is most definitely a misread, as it took very long for something was measured, and from my experience these finger measure devices can be wildly inaccurate at times. More importantly, he had way too much energy, and was talking way too quick for a SpO2 below 90 (These people have trouble standing and will not casually bench their 5 rep max). Then later after the pull-ups he is measured at 98%, probably a lot more accurate, and then they put him on oxygen -_-

    • @nonsensequitter
      @nonsensequitter 3 месяца назад +28

      They read it wrong. His heart rate was 80 and his O2 sat was 93. ER nurse here, at 80% he could be on the floor, not speaking in a normal voice.

    •  3 месяца назад +12

      @@nonsensequitter The oxygen saturation really was 80 at 1:44 (it only has 2 spots for digits before it displayed and says SpO2 % below it). The device just couldn't measure it well. Probably, it was not well attached to his finger, or too much sweat, etc

      @@leighgale2470 That's because Will wasn't in danger of significant damage to his well being. It's extremely hard to push hard enough, especially without adjustment, that you could hurt yourself past needing to hop on the oxygen even with someone pushing you like the gym owner was. The composure also means no major panic if Will had actually needed more help than a walk or crawl to the oxygen machine.

    15:02 This is basically how asthma feels, but with a lot more wheezing and a different rescue treatment needed. Great message at the end too. Cardio and breathing exercises are so valuable for quality of life, especially if you have a respiratory condition. You may not break records, and it's scary to be so vulnerable in mild workouts from exercise-induced asthma at the start, but it's all about improving what *you* can do. Putting physical hobbies like dance and trampoline within reach, and decreasing or even ceasing the need for medications and rescue treatments as your symptoms improve, it's life-changing.

    • @GodLovesYou215
      @GodLovesYou215 3 месяца назад +4

      These videos will always be temporary then you’re going to go right back to the sadness. With God He is eternal. Though with God you’re still going to go through things because that’s life but the difference is-is that you have God, and there’s peace in His presence. Everything in this world is temporary while God is eternal. But it’s fine though because us humans have short lives and we will be in heaven soon as long as you accept Him and pick up your cross and follow Him. Meaning let go of your old life for the life He has to offer and follow Him. And deny your temptation but we will mess up sometimes because we are not perfect and the only perfect one was Jesus, so when you mess up just get back up and continue to walk in faith in Jesus Christ. Remember that, “The righteous man falls seven times and gets back up”. And once you have your faith in God you are made righteous in His eyes. Just keep Jesus first, focus on Him like a tunnel vision. And most importantly love Him because once you love Him everything else in following Him should fall into place since you love Him. Keep your head up and keep God first. But remember we are all human and we are not perfect, we are all going to have ups and downs, we are all going to have doubts, we are all going to have feelings. It’s normal. But it depends on on what you do when you start to feel those things. Are you going to run to these temporary things that will satisfy you only for a little bit but can’t fill that void in your heart. Or are you going to surrender to God and accept His gift of salvation and love Him for who He is and not for what He has to offer? God bless you and keep your head up❤. Remember that I love you, God loves you way more than we all do, and Jesus is coming soon❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ Real soon❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

This reminds me of how strong she was and how hard it must have been. The way Will described the feelings really hit hard. She would always say how you couldn't understand how hard it was. This video is very timely for me. I live in Philadelphia, PA and recently traveled to Colorado for the first time ever, we immediately upon landing in Denver(about 5,500 feet above sea level) went to Grand Lakes to stay the night(8,500 feet above) and then in less than 24 hours we drove to 12,000 feet above at the Rocky Mountains and took a short hike.
    I could barely catch my breath during a normal everyday walk at 12,000 feet, it was wild. Then at Grand Lakes two nights in a row I got a total of 3 hours sleep, because everytime I was getting ready to fall asleep, my body woke me gasping for air feeling like I didn't have enough. I learned out there there are many companies who sell or rent oxygen machines just like the one they had in this video for people to use while there.
    Luckily for me when we drove back to Denver for the remainder of the trip, I was able to sleep and breathe much better. Props to Will because after what I went through I can not even imagine attempting this much less completing it. The pain yall see, trust me, it's real.

    What I think happened is that Will was panicking war for a while cause he wasn't able to breath properly due to altitude, so at the end his body confused the sense of not breathing due to exercise with a panic attack and he got all the other simptoms of a panic attack like crying, feeling terrified, etc. It happens in many people, specially if you have anxiety or depression history

      I run your program over through boost camp and it’s great how it’s set up through that. Got my bench from 185 to 235 in a 12 week training block 💪
