In my experience, I find that the biggest, baddest-looking dudes at the gym are also usually the nicest, most personable guys once you actually approach them, and are willing to spot me whenever

That gym owner is a W guy. Not only friendly with everyone but also gave his prize to that guy. When you get rewarded for your hardwork you push more hard.

I found him a little arrogant considering these two were gassed. Not to say the results would have been different but I would have appreciated a little bit more humility.

fg: Doing it properly, re progress and lack of injuries has its own rewards, at least for those who are trying to improve vs. showing off.
I was doing 33 pull ups. Then I filmed myself and I saw that my form was shit. Jesus all those years... but I always travel and train alone. Now I am doing 15 clean and I'm growing wings.
Strict pull ups are the truth. Even my upper abs are engaged and tight after those

Yeah he was a heavier guy on those pullups and still pushed out 20. If you weigh more than 210lbs, pullups are no walk in the park

It's super strange...but, although I am a female...in a wheelchair...Will inspires me. It's very hard to burn calories consistently in a wheelchair, but through his videos I've learned it's the little changes, that add up and stick. It's like caloric monopoly, got to spend them wisely. My budget is limited but I hope to get some exercise equipment one day and keep improving. My 9 year old son is also a fan. Much thanks.

Jacked people can rarely do that many pull ups. It’s the skinny lean people who can’t bench 150 that you gotta watch out for. They’ll bust out like 50 sometimes it’s crazy

They have good endurance too.
Me who's 225..... practiced for probably a month and got 30... Stopped for a week could only do 10

my roommate in college was crazy, 5’7 140lbs lean and did 29 pull-ups, 245lb bench
That's a great gym, and the people seem awesome, specially the big guy, that's a dude everyone would be lucky to have as a friend, uplifting someone that naturally and seamlessly means the guy is just wired to be kind to others.
Alex walking away to do lateral raises mid video is the most gym rat thing ive ever seen and I love it.

One of these things I like about these videos is they show us just how much people can push themselves when it’s on the line. I feel a lot of people I train don’t know what they are fully capable of and even myself at times.
I don't think anyone is able to use their full potential, just think of the people going in to a psychosis, their strength can just skyrocket and they are so much stronger then they normally are, imagine if we could unlock that part of the brain or whatever it is.. I think Eddie Hall was very close when he did that world record deadlift etc, he talked about how he went to a very dark place to be able to lift that.

Actually pretty long arms. I get that it’s harder with long arms but easier if you have a lot of mass behind those long arms.

The records belong to the longest guys with the biggest arms. So wouldn't say that. The tendons are also further upwards on the arm attached so for some people with long arms that really makes up for the length
