Cubase Solution: Alt+B/N for Transient Navigation. B backwards, N Forwards. Forwards didn't work for me idk, maybe a Cubase problem. 1) Copy your Sample 2) Go to the end of the Track 3) alt+b to find the first transient 4) ctrl+v paste the sample repeat 3 and 4 5) delete your intial file or save it elsewhere
I make a copy of the original kick track and then just use Slate Trigger 2, find the sample you like, swing it to 100% replaced. Blend to taste. There will be no phase issues, because it's EXACTLY the same as played. The only time I would apply what he's done here is if I wanted to discard the original dynamics of the session. This method is a waste of time if you're trying to retain the original dynamics.
Andrew Wade spoke about it while doing the Attila mix and he said that the Slate Trigger, even being the most accurate of all triggers, its still innacurate for some hits. So I suppose that Dan is doing it the copy paste way just to avoid that. If you want to trigger it all and still retain the dynamics, try the DRT plugin.

Massey DRT works well for this as well and is sample accurate. I used to use this method but a few years ago got drt and havent looked back.

How the hell did he sample paste that that fast??? Quick keys please?
tab to transient, I assume.
Usually, you can hit the tab key to jump to the next transient in your audio source.
I know tab trick but going to the other track and then going back up. I mean i would group this and do it but he didn’t...
in pro tools ; is down a track, p is up a track, ' is to the next transient, L is to the previous
Jesse Clark HACKSSS
I've automated this in reaper, takes about seconds a song
I wonder why he didn't just use a sampler and draw midi notes and velocitites etc instead of copying/pasting...
he explains that there are issues with using a sampler engine.
Is there such pasting option in FL Studio?
Do they have teachers who speak Spanish? I almost do not speak English
Metti i sottotitoli in inglese, è più facile da capire 😉
Aprende inglés viejo.
El mejor contenido de audio siempre está en inglés, sobre todo para rock y metal.
Am I naive and in the past thinking thats the quickiest way to kill all the vitality in this music?
