Bro, after years of recovering from awful addiction and searching for a style, Oli looks fucking great. I'm so glad that he didn't stop singing. Big ups Oli and the band.
6:00 bmth and bfmv in 2009/2010 was awesome but tbh I feel like bmth are peaking again rn. The music they've made recently and the setlist now is killer.
Out of almost any bands evolution over the years, I respect bring mes the most. This band has made literally almost every genre you can think of except for country and the made it work in their own way. They've been slowly getting heavy again and I can't wait for nex gen!
I saw BMTH live in Melbourne for my first time, and it was one of the best concerts/shows I have ever been to. They deserve all their success and i have been a fan for years. Proud of this band and it really feels they are only just reaching their stride. Olis vocals were incredible, the spectacle and production was next level.
I saw them in Adelaide a few days ago. Second time seeing them (first time in 2022 at Good Things Sydney) and it was a great show! They never disappoint
Having been a fan for over 15 years, and with these fellas always at the top of my yearly spotify wrapups, I CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW KEEN I AM TO SEE THEM THIS WEEKEND IN BRIS!
it's great to see they've managed to keep the spark going. I love that Oli can still release singles that are so far removed from what he has done historically because he wants to explore other things and that they managed to find that happy mix as to what fans think BMTH is now. The comment around "kids still need mainstream heavy music" made me think of Linkin Park so much - BMTH will always feel like the successor of them for me. Can't wait to see you guys this week - hoping I can get in early enough to see Daine too! Also really appreciate the comment that they aren't "limiting" their openers because Sleep Token are fucking elite performers as well.
Always appreciate when Vegan graces us with his presence. I hope he knows that he’s loved and vital to the band. Easily has the best stage energy and moves of all of them.
You guys nailed your show on Wednesday! Saw you guys 16 years ago at billboards in Melbourne with a day to remember and parkway drive! That fact you played diamonds are forever was such a throw back Thank you legends! Keep charging
I think if you truly are a fan of a band you follow them no matter what path they decide to take when it comes to growing and changing up their music!! The evolution of bmth is truly amazing to me!
I've been a fan since 2005 (I was 12/13) and am still a fan now. Got to see them at both Melbourne concerts and they were just as amazing as they've always been. If BMTH are playing, I will be there
Great interview, so nice to see the boys so happy and looking forward. I've loved this band forever, they work so hard and deserve all their success. Also, I'm gutted I'm not in Oz right now. BMTH and Sleep Token? It's the stuff dreams are made of..
The lady doing the interview is a natural at this, great energy and great questions/topics. The guy on the other hand is a damn robot reading a script; no natural flow or conversational awareness, just reading questions off of a screen.
i love that they know there are basically no other bands that scream that are anywhere near as popular as them and i love that they’ve decided to keep makin that music for that reason
People can gate all they want. But people cannot deny their talent and determination, reguardless of what sound they're creating. I love all their styles. But glad they have brought the heavy bk at thevsane time. Best of both worlds.
I was there Sunday night Sydney show and it was absolutely memorable, everything was bloody on point, daine, make them suffer and sleep token were on point too, was a bloody great experience and will forever remember it as a bloody perfect night. Thankyou 🤘🤘
I was there too - the show was phenomenal! I took my Mum who isn't the biggest fan of their music but by the end of the show she had tears in her eyes and wanted to know more about them and their music!
BMTH are one of the nicest and genuine people I met. I had the chance to meet them before their concert in Bulgaria recently. They were so down to earth, they took photos with all of us, we chat for a bit but they were in a hurry, never the less they spared some of their time for their fans. People say never meet your heroes but I'm glad I did. Been a fan of theirs since 2010 and will forever be
Saw them on Friday night for the first time and the show was incredible. Extremely entertaining, a great stage set up and the vocals and band sounded perfect. Would go again in a heartbeat
I grew up with them, I trust 'em since 14 years ago and I still do, they helped me through a lot. I didn't like 2 songs in all my life 😂 can't wait for their new stuff. Love you guys 💖
Bring me the Horizon is great because their style of music evolved as we did growing up! There's everything in their discography to make it easy to relate to during any moment in your life! You want heavy, you got it! You want smooth and emotionnal, you got it! Great band! They will always be my favorite!
I can vouch for that to as my first metal concert with my hubby and the metal community that night was damn good honestly. Everyone has gone through similar experiences and I just loved the atmosphere the people were so awesome so kind and on top of that the concert was fricken awesome it felt amazing. And people's outfits as well my god it was so cool I wish I could be in that moment forever it was so good.
Most memorable BMTH show for me Kingston Peel 2006 in tiny pub venue (Count you blessing was their latest album), they were so close Ollie Sykes kneed me in the face haha (by accident of course) Download was amazing too a real achievement, great to watch their evolution loved the new stuff too glad their not afraid to grow musically!
fans that were there before Sempiternal and sticked with the band through That's The Spirit and amo became the ones that trust the band undonditionally with creative decisions. but also I think because of the artists like BMTH, Falling in Reverse and such, that try out various different stuff and put out albums that are nothing like the ones they have done before, is also the reason overall music fans become more tolerant and acceptive towards mix of genres, and whatever nonsense artist they never heard before come up together for a record and produce bangers no one though of before; stuff like this makes me excited to explore any genre of music, re-visit my old favorite artists with this 'new' view, and just enjoy the music in general without trying to define and/or analyze it too much. btw matt looked very anxious and disturbed whenever he wasnt speaking, but thats likely just me overthinking and projecting my own feelings
Bring Me The Horizon is the first band I’ve EVER heard say “we’re not going to randomly change our stuff and do what we want to do, we’re going to do what our fans resonate with”. Wow… most bands always say “f the fans, we’ll do what we want” and they fade into obscurity.
They used to say the exact opposite, but I guess they changed their mind. They got tons of flack for changing sounds on basically every album except the last one, and they've always said they didn't care, they play what they want.
Saw them on Wednesday, all acts were peak! Make them suffer I’ve seen 11 times now over the years, love them so much and they absolutely crushed it! I hope they do something with bring me while they’re touring!
My first watch here, but do the guests always stand or it's like that just here? I just feel like I'd be wayy more comfy if I could sit down. Just a note tho, nice show.
I love how they are breaking the genre barrier but still keeping there metal style have post human continue forever thats i think the deepest they have ever been since septernal .... to bad Jordan had to leave
Just recently (2 weeks ago) started listening to them because of Babymetal. My son who is 10 loves the song King Slayer. I like their music. And I got a crush on Oli now. 😅
Did Oliver do something different to his hair again? It looks a little shorter then the last time I’ve seen him. I still think he looks hot with either long hair or short hair

Ket will do that
Oli referring to people at the show as Kids…. Lad I wish, I’m 33 and been following you since 2008 😂
53- I’m like their Mum 😂
And most people began listen to them when they were teenagers, I was already an adult then
Lmao I'm 25 😂
bmth soundwave 2011 was peak

bmth has always been such a great group of musicians and artists, im so happy to have been around for so long to see them become so recognized
Surely you get them for like a version.
