I cannot believe they’re going back to a heavier sound, that’s like a dream come true. I liked a few songs from Amo, but my lord their other albums are just on a different level.

Este primer registro es en gran medida un registro de protesta. Está tratando de capturar la ira, la tristeza, la frustración y el miedo y la paranoia en todo lo que creo que todos ustedes están pasando colectivamente en este momento.Para mí es realmente importante que capturemos eso, no solo en las letras, sino también sonoramente, que realmente ilustre el ambiente.
Los últimos tres discos que hicimos fueron solo Jordan y yo produciendo básicamente
Con la habilidad técnica y creativa de Jordan, no hemos reclutado a nadie en los últimos seis o siete años para ayudarnos.
Realmente queríamos intentar colaborar con las personas en estos próximos discos. Encuentra personas que traigan algo a la mesa y puedan hacer algo que tal vez no podamos.Cuando se trata de nuestra música más pesada, sabes que ese es nuestro tipo de pan y mantequilla, y sentimos que lo hacemos bastante bien, así que es realmente difícil encontrar a alguien que cree que puede ofrecernos algo diferente.
Lo bueno del bloqueo ha sido, que he estado jugando muchos más videojuegos. He estado jugando a éste juego llamado DOOM Eternal y mientras lo jugaba me enamoré absolutamente de la banda sonora. Es jodidamente loco, es pesado como la mierda, tiene éste tipo de distensión ciberpunk punky, una especie de vibra enorme un tipo llamado Mick Gordon realmente produjo toda ésta música.
Al principio cuando estaba tocando durante el día y luego Jordan y yo trabajábamos por la noche y me gustaba usar ésto como referencia porque los sonidos allí suenan muy grandes tan impactantes de una manera que no he escuchado en ninguna otra música de metal y entonces me di cuenta de que, como sabes, tal vez éste es el tipo con el que estamos buscando colaborar. Entonces "Lo golpee". Sorprendentemente se puse en contacto con nosotros y dijo que era un gran admirador de la banda, realmente amaba lo que hacíamos y que le encantaría trabajar con nosotros. Así que comencé a hablar con él y conversamos.
Le conté mis ideas y le escribí un montón de notas y básicamente dejé la canción con él y regresó con una "maldita" biblioteca de sonidos.

Entonces, la idea es casi como si el mundo fuera éste ejército y éste es algún tipo de líder que habla con sus tropas, así que realmente tuve ésta visión de que casi podía escuchar la marcha en los pasos de la música como cuando habla con la multitud y todos los pequeños detalles y cosas así, y ya sabes, el segundo verso, por ejemplo. Estoy hablando de teorías de conspiración y sabes, toda ésta mierda loca que la gente inventa para tratar de explicar algo que es realmente simple. Es casi como si tuviera ésta sensación mecánica y paranoia esquiva.
Agregó texturas y afinaciones a las voces y una "mierda" como esa realmente solo lo empuja aún más para hacerte sentir lo que estábamos tratando de transmitir. Sí básicamente lo
rompió y estoy realmente entusiasmado con la forma en que resultó. Creo que vamos a trabajar más con él en éste disco.

This is great. Mick gordon is a mix between trent reznor and modern metal, so you are getting a huge package. He's a great metal producer, one of the best right now.

It's actually crazy: when I was listening to Parasite Eve the bridge had a super Mick Gordon-esque vibe in the processing of the guitar/ synth and it really reminded me of him a lot. Love his style!

You guys have inspired me so much musically and lyrically. I’m what the kids call “an emo rapper” I hate being put into a category so much because I don’t stick to one genre. I just like making whatever style I’m feeling that day. One day I could work on a Midwest emo song, one day I could be working on a cover, one day it could be a rap song, one day it could be an acoustic song just whatever I’m feeling. You’ve inspired me to keep making music and never stop evolving or stick to one genre. I’ve been a HUGE fan of you guys since I was a young lad this blog has given me the inspiration to keep writing/recording. I was in the ledge about to give up and stop because of a serious drug addiction and oli, you’ve inspired me in that way as well. I’m still using unfortunately but only after about 5 days when I’m terribly sick and feel like death. I’ve started tapering off it so I’ve started taking the right step in the right direction and I’m getting there slowly but surely. You’re music and writing/recording has helped me with addiction so much and has taught me that I’m stronger/smarter than what I originally thought and I’m just gonna keep fighting until I can’t anymore. You guys have inspired me to start a blog as well and I’d just like to thank each and every one of you guys so much🤘🏻🖤 love you dudes sincerely HXLLXWHEART
