I'm assuming because they're stamping their names on it, and want to be the "best" I assume. Do everything technically correct as much as possible. will the listener care? no.
@@Hovss yes. I get it. Just I've spent hours before editing drums and the difference isn't very noticeable. However I always have good solid drummers. I myself have been playing professionally for over 20 years now so I can't absolutely tell if the drummer is off the click and then maybe I will edit a bit. But not every single hit. Crazyness. Programmed drums are already on a grid and processed so don't get that one either. Just use good samples... lol.
@@JUNK_ZONE I mainly mix metal and rock and always have great solid on the click drummers to mix. Guess that helps. I also do alot of drums for people. Not sure why they go so overboard on this. Easier to quantize the whole kit then go through each and every bit etc etc. any programmed drums and don't need this crazy amount of work. They are on the grid perfectly and already processed to hell and back. I've tried doing editing this in depth and can't tell a difference worth it. Maybe a tad cleaner but then it just sounds fake as hell like every modern drum production.
Not trying to start drama but your thumbnail has broken a little persons heart. I would have msg you privately but we can’t do that on RUclips. Just thought you might want to know since you must not have anyone in your life that suffers from a strabismus so it probably seemed harmless
As much as I understand your point of view, and why you feel this way, keep in mind that most people can cross their eyes, and they usually do it to make themself look 'funny', not to make fun of others who struggle with this permanently. It's not really that deep. I'm sorry for your condition, but it kind of proves the point that people nowadays find everything offensive. You can't just have some harmless fun without people pointing out how 'wrong' it is :/
@@THAMNOSI’m not offended, I was trying to educate the OP about the fact that a child that does have it got their heart broken because someone choose to do that to imply “stupid” it doesn’t say why your drums sound silly. It says stupid, context matters. These videos pop up in your feed without any control from the user. Clearly the OP doesn’t care or he would have modified the thumbnail. It was a teachable moment. People can choose to do better once they know better or they won’t.

Best commercial of silencer I’ve ever seen lol
Imagine if we got this plugin 10-20 years ago, would be used more than stock EQ.. :D
👀
@@blacksaltaudio Definitely going to grab this for my collection. That’s freaking awesome, y’all
I like this guy. He focuses on the important shit.
Lasse is such an underrated engineer!! His mixes kick ass!
As a 20-year pro, I am loving this rundown. Fantastic!!!
Video saved. There’s some gold here!
I love the mulitple aproaches!
Great video, thank you
Hey Joel! Nice to see ya! ))
How are you making key tracks that are completely in phase?
With Massey DRT, then manual check and adjust where needed
Deutsches Denken! Cool trick with the analogue ON. 🤘🤘

Hahaha that Massenberg plugin out here looking like the GUI was made in 1996. Good plugins tho

Not sure why people spend so much time on drum editing. I don't do any of this besides trim in between Tom hits and kick and snare just gate.
It's just about what style of mix people are going for. Flavors.

I was wondering why the bsa gate worked better and quicker than slate drum gate.
What plugin would I use to get that buttery smooth Lasse voice and sexy accent
😂😂😂😂
Silencer is the best drum plug-in ever!
