Those are adorable. Thanks for the application site. Maybe if you turned the Ricoma light down we would be able to see when your projects are under the needle. Thanks for the videos. I love appliqué.
The designs are so cute! Yes, it does appear to be an easier way to complete an applique, Also, you've given me ideas on using patterned material for appliques instead of just using solids. I'm going to go and check out her site. Thanks again for sharing.
I just used fabric from my scrap bin. You can use most any fabric. I recommend cotton. Fat quarters (small pieces of cotton fabric) can be purchased at stores like Walmart and Joanns for a very affordable price ($1-3)
Hi, Lorrie! I was wondering if you have had any problems with your EM-1010 satin stitches. I've had 2 different designs from different companies that I purchased and when I go to stitch, the 1010 would start and stop then cut the thread over and over. Someone told me it could be the width of the satin stitch exceeds the limitation of the machine. That just didnt make sense to me???
I don’t worry about the alignment and it depends on the design as to whether or not I remove the hoop. It’s usually easier to cut around appliqué when you remove the hoop from the machine. If it’s something I can easily access I will leave it on the machine
You could use any color since they are all covered in the finishining stitches. If I were using a single needle I would use the color that I'm using for the very first finishing stitch in step 8 or 9
I really like the picture in picture format. Thanks for a great tutorial!
So glad you liked it
Thank you for showing what you do in the control panel. I learn something every time you have a Ricoma video
Thank you for sharing the baby burp cloths, Great
I have an EM-1010 as well. Your videos have helped me gain confidence and filled in the gaps! Love them!
Great to hear!

Love this design!
Hi,
Loved the video, I never tried Appliqué before. I was quite afraid, you made it look easy. Did the fabric come from Amazon?

I have not had that issue but it does sound like perhaps a digitizing problem or your tension is too high
Great video! So 🥰
Lorrie, this is really cute. Do you take out the hoop with every color when you aren’t videoing? Do you worry about the alignment?

What color would you recommend for stitching all of the stitches for doing the first step? Thank you for the tutorial!

@@LorrieNunemaker great, thank you for the help!
What size hoop did you use
I used the 5 x 5 mighty hoop, but you can make it with a 4 x 4
