I know the recommendation for embroidering shirts is cut away stabilizer, but I was curious to see if tear away was possible on t-shirts. Glad to see you confirmed it was possible.
My no show mesh seems to release from the fabric during stitching so I often don't use it but I have some T-shirts to do and I think I will try it again. The two layers you add here are both tear away? Thank you! The mighty hoops are on my Christmas wish list!
I have never done embroidery but it looks like a lot of fun. It also looks complicated and I might be intimidated by trying it...so tempting but requires a lot of research I’m sure! Lorrie...you make it look so easy.
Hello Lorrie, firstly thanks for your orders they are so helpful. I was wondering if you had classes for beginners I've never touched a embroidery machine and really would like to start. In this industry it's really not a lot of resources....
Thanks for video. You put no show on back of shirt. What put tear away also? I thought idea of noshow is to avoid other stabilizer. Learning so don’t really know
Got you. Thanks for quick reply. Maybe I need to look at video again. I though you put no show on tshirt, just a small price, but out tear away in the hoop. Would tear away stay on the tshirt as well. I appreciate your help.
Hello thank you for that video so much. If you are doing a bigger design, number one can it be done on a t-shirt and number two can I still use the same stabilizer?
Every design is different but if digitized and stabilized properly you can do larger designs on thinner tshirts like this. For larger designs I would recommend sticking to something that doesn’t have large areas of dense fill stitches
Depending how dense the design is I would either do that or if it’s not too dense I’d use no show and tear away and remove the tear away when done but again it really depends on the design and how stretchy the T-shirt is

Great video, thank you. I was wondering where you got the laser for your machine, I have the EM1010 and would love to get one ... thank you

Thanks for video. You put no show on back of shirt. What put tear away also? I thought idea of noshow is to avoid other stabilizer. Learning so don’t really know
I put no show because it’s a white tshirt. Tear away would’ve shown through.

Are there different measurements to measure down from the neckline if you are using different size shirts?
Between 7-9”

@@LorrieNunemaker ok thnkx I'll try it
Would you use the no show poly mesh for a design that goes on the back of a t-shirt along with cutaway? I am working on a 7 x 7 design.
