Thank you Sara! My granddaughter has asked me a couple of times if I could embroider a garment for her and I have shied away from it. My hubby has lots of old T-Shirts I can practice on! Thank you for giving me the confidence to give it a try!
Just bought a new machine, have never had embroidery machine and terrified to start embroidering. Ill be watching many videos before starting! Thank You your video is easy to understand.

Hi, watched the video and at one part you talked about cutaway stabilizer and hooping two layers of no show mess. When you finished the stitch out, I didn’t see any cutaway stabilizer as you were demonstrating the way to trim on the inside of the shirt..can you explain further? Thx u in advance. BTW your videos are always helpful…🐾🐾
Hi Sara just about to enrol in your classes hoping that all goes well this time. Just watched your t-shirt video and really impressed. Can’t wait to get started but will have to wait until tomorrow. Thank you once again. Eve Cortazzi
Thanks for your tutorial Sarah - I have learned a lot from you about sewing machine embroidery. You are a great teacher. Will you be making tutorials on how to download embroidery patterns on the IMac? Thanks again. Looking forward to more of your tutorials.
Great video. However, my machine is a 1956 Singer 222 lightweight and I just wanted hand sew a cat. At least I now know where to place it! So thank you for that.
So from the floor to the t shirt the stabilizer should be 2 no show mesh layers for skin protection), 2 cut away layers, the adhesive and the t shirt? Is that correct?
I can NEVER get a shirt that doesn’t pucker! Even with 2 layers of invisible mesh stabilizer. The only shirts that ever turn out is if I use the stiffest stabilizer! Frustrating. Then can’t where it cuz the stabilizer!
I’m a grandma who is a Disabled Veteran is could you please put on CC so that we who a hearing challenged can follow along? I long your channel but it’s difficult to follow many times. Thank you. Have a blessed day.
I just started embroidering. I love your idea of using the spray adhesive instead of putting the fabric in the hoop. It works great. Thanks
Excellent video Sara. I am sharing this with my Facebook Group.
Thanks for sharing!!
Your video is wonderful! It helps to see a demonstration rather than read the manual or hear instructions. I think I'm ready to tackle a shirt now.
Thank you, Sara! I have three t-shirts folded in my sewing room to embroider on and this really gives me confidence to try it!

I can NEVER get a shirt that doesn’t pucker! Even with 2 layers of invisible mesh stabilizer. The only shirts that ever turn out is if I use the stiffest stabilizer! Frustrating. Then can’t where it cuz the stabilizer!
So you leave that flapping piece of cut-away stabilizer inside the shirt? How do the professionals do this?
