Just thought I would give you a tip. When changing your thread color. Don't pull the thread up cut it at the roll and pull through. Keeps the fibers from messing your machine up over time
It does make sense and the manufactures recommend it but to this day I don’t do it. I always appreciate someone telling me to do it the correct way but I still do it the way I did it in the video. Saves thread and it doesn’t harm the machine as long as you raise the foot which releases the tension.
Can someone please explain what dude means exactly by “ Cutting it at the roll” etc?? I get that you don’t do it, but I’m still curious what the heck that statement even means lol
Thank you so much! This was by far the most useful video I’ve found and I’ve watched so many. You’re also the first person to talk about the tension wheel and I know you just saved me from a ton of headache haha. Can’t wait to try embroidery out. Thanks again, I appreciate you!
Best video bro. Please make videos where you were learning and show us those mistakes (tensioning wrong, hoop too lose. Just for us to see the end results. And keep commenting while working that's the best. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
You are a great instructor. Telling it like it is. ☺️. I am new and just got my machine yesterday I get my thread today. I have already learned a lot just watching this one video. I look forward to watching more of your videos.❤

Had to pull 100 stitches because I didn't have the design on my screen facing the right direction. I'm going to rewatch your video a few more times to get it clear in my head! Thank you! - New subscriber!
Let me start off by saying that I enjoyed your videos as they are very educational and easy to follow... I am a business owner of my own brand, UmmiHandz Uniq where I sew, crochet and sell my own merch which I expanded this year... I have learned how to used htv transfer vinyl and paper, sublimation and now embroidery from your channel... I Love the Brother's machine... I have the Limited Edition for my sewing machine and a Brother for my embroidery machine which I purchased from Amazon before right after the pandemic had ended somewhat... I wanted to make my own logo patches... I say you did a wonderful job on this video as you helped me alot of where I went wrong... I only been on the machine once and haven't had the chance to pull it back out... Now, I cannot wait to get my work area back in order to do my own patches...
You are seriously amazing! One of the best step by steps I’ve ever watched. Everyone else bores me and then I end up confused. Thank you a million times! 😊
Thank you so much for this video as I just purchased a SE700 because I really wanted a sewing machine and I was also interested in learning how to embroider. This video has been so very helpful to me as I start I start on my embroidery journey.
Thank God I've found this video, because I have the same sewing machine and tried to do embroidery then the needle broke and lost interest for about 8 months but always wanted to finish it and learn more about the machine I was even going to hire a personal tutor for $200 dollars while this video was playing but then I noticed that the machine looked like mines then noticed that it was my same exact model Brother SE600. There's no video that explains this machine like you. Thanks you saved me money that I can invest in you instead because you know alot about this craft. Thanks👍
Thanks for the video! I've been searching for a video to show how to use the stabilizer and hoop on a t-shirt. I followed along and was able to complete my first project.
I’m using 100% cotton fabric because i have a lot laying around. Never use tear away on clothes that get washed. Why would fabric feel weird on the person wearing it when clothes are made of fabric?
Thank you so much for this! I just ruined a shirt because of how thin it is, and I was so stressed about stabilizer that I didn’t even consider using fabric instead! You da bomb!
There are many types of stabilizers; some better than others. I have even used interfacing. He has a great idea for using up a lot of scraps or old garments cut up:) Whatever works for you is fine.
Well i'm glad you found this channel also. Welcome, and I hope you make lots of of extra income with your new tools. I actually love my sawgrass. Im sure you will too as well as the embroidery machine.

good advice on using fabric for a stabilizer. I would have to apply the soft stabilizer to the back of the shirt after embroidering because the cut away stabilizer I used does not feel good against the skin.
