Thank you for understanding. You don’t really understand how anything works unless you can trouble shoot and problem solve when you run into issues. That’s life. Always something. Either you work threw it or you ball up in a corner and quit and blame everyone else. We don’t quit over here. 👍🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾

You make me hopeful. I’m at home recovering from cancer treatment and can’t go back to work but I need to do something. After watching your videos I decided to make the jump and start my own business. I was blessed in that some friends gifted me my Brother SE700. Without their help I couldn’t even start learning. 😊

I found that using a large hardcover book to push on the hoop helps close it easily because it can put pressure on all four corner at the same time

I love this tutorial. Quite a few lessons learned. Keep my embroidery scissors near because the threaad stitiched the foot to the fabric.
Use clips because the fabric adjusted and the end of the hat got stiched into the design.
3 hats and and me tryibg to figure out why the outline stich is not aligned. I realized i did not use water soluble stablizer. Now the stiched align.
    ❤thanks❤

This is by far one of my favorite videos on Beanies. Thank you so much. I just purchased a Brother SE1900 and I’m ready to start embroidering things here and there. I got the machine basically for my brand labels. But you gave me a cute Beanie Idea for girls. Thanks for such a wonderful video. Made my day.

I’m thankful that you show the mistakes....THANK YOU 🙏 not only does it make you better, but it also makes us better....I am a crafter at heart ❤️ crochet 🧶 knitting ( well a little knitting 😊) sewing 🧵 I too have a brother embroidery machine and finally launched my crafting business this year yayyy
several years ago the Lord told me that my prosperity was in my hands...I would always sew and make things here and there for myself....and others would ask me to make them something as well..... but this year A Dubb.....it’s on and popping.
I have hats & scarves, socks, T-shirts (honestly still learning on those, but did have a order of 17 shirts for a fifty and fabulous bd party huge success) made and ready for purchase...I have a brother embroidery machine as well...innovis 2800D. You just motivated me to use it more...thank you so much I enjoy watching you...I just recently found you but I am a new fan thanks for showing your flaws that’s great.

That, is a good look'n hat you got there in your video bud.
I appreciate you for the real talk. ✌
I grew up with a heavy sewing/cross-stitch/embroidery influence from my Mom and now I'm picking it up as a hobby.
but the more I get into it, (the video tutorials I watch) the more I get overwhelmed..😵
But you are correct, I am gonna make some mistakes, I am gonna fall up the stairs, it won't be pretty the first time around, but its all a struggle, I gotta learn to handle the basics, and I gotta just get back up and keep going 😇
    Thank you,

Love your entire video! Learned how to hoop a beanie, even though I own a different machine. Water soluble stabilizer, if you lightly wet it, it comes off way easier and stitches are safer, the left over stabilizer can be used to pat the wet stabilizer off the design. Im glad you use it though! First video I see that it's used in! 😂

Great video and "Happy Belated Thanks to the Lord Day"! Being positive makes it easy and admitting you don't know everything makes a great business owner. I watch others as well for all types of craft ideas; sewing and embroidery (a super way to learn) and I'm finding out so many different and effective ways to do things. Believe you me, learning is a process and we positive folks want to grow in the right direction. Keep throwing out those "not-so-perfect" videos. They truly help us all!

You can use chalk and make a directional mark on your hat before you fix the hat to the ring. Example: write "this face up" That way you know if the hat is installed incorrectly before you even start the embroidering process.

I also sew and do a little Cricut. So tomorrow I’m going to attempt my first beanie. I am 65 and have a pixie hair cut, but I don’t care! Thanks for your super great lesson!!! I’ll let you know! I wonder if others have this problem with acrylic beanies. Use a practice beanie to get tension right. Then embroider a logo onto beanie and it comes out great. Hoop another beanie the same way. Embroider it out and tension issues abound. See some bobbin thread on right side and eventually I'll lower tension. Does not improve stitch out. Is this the stretchy material or me.
