I have used your presetting/pretensioning the the hoop for probably 6-8 yrs now. It works perfectly.

I love the idea of painters tap. I wished I thought of it.

Can you use painters tape to tape the fabric out of the way.

I noticed that your spool of thread was placed on the spool pin upside down or backward. I'm curious: Was this done for a specific purpose? Thanks for the video, great info!

The thread is less likely to get caught between the spool holder and the spool and bind up and break. You can see the white spool holder inside the bottom of the spool.

So if I would like to sew hoodie myself and then embroider it, I can firstly embroider front side and then just sew like I normally sew? It seems easier to center pattern when I have only front side and don’t have to manoeuvre like this

@@tulaj_pieska I would actually rough cut the front, embroider where you want on the fabric, and then cut your front. Then you get perfect placement without having to deal with any wonky seams.

Okay but if i firstly embroider it and then cut front panel piece it’s harder to keep max fabric usage saved plus i can always slip scissors while cutting and not get perfect same seam allowance etc = my graphic won’t be perfectly placed for ex in the middle.
I think its better to make embroidery on raw part before sewing (already cut, not cutting from whole fabric piece, embroider and then cut hoodie pieces) and then sew all pieces together into whole hoodie - this would get similar effect when you wrote about bulkiness and seams issues (idk if I clearly wrote what I meant 😅)

@@tulaj_pieska yes I understand you. I’m going on what I have done in the past. If you are more comfortable the other way, then that is the best way to do it. Good Luck!
