do you need to make sure the hat is positioning in the middle on the Y-axis as well? how do you know to position the hat perfectly on the y-axis so the machine doesn't sew in the wrong area?
i tried to embroider aprons, but it would always stitch lower than i wanted.
should we do a trace stitch beforehand to make sure?

that’s why i add the lines in the stabilizer you put the beanie right at the second line and it will center it correctly
