Great video! I was coming to learn how to make chenille patches with my pe800 and learned how that my vinyl cutter can actually cute fabric too. I never knew that thanks!
This is a great idea. Have you tried cutting the vinyl with the cricut before placing it down? Trying to figure out how to save time and eliminate the final hand cutting.
I just got this font myself from the same company, I’m gonna follow your way of making these using my cameo 4. Thank you for showing little tips and tricks for us beginners
Thank you so much for posting this. I don't have an embroidery machine yet, so it's nice to see what other people use for these types of projects and what they are capable of. One question: Why not cut the faux leather with the Cricut? Would it all be too narrow or tight around the edges for the machine?
Cute idea! Thanks for a great tut. I will definitely use my SNC to cut the letters. Will try HTV for background. Hopefully it can then be fused to project. Fingers crossed.
Love Love Love this ❤️ I just placed my order for supplies on this one! You always inspire Lorrie, and make the process so much easier with your step-by-step details! ps-do you sell your sweatshirts and or share where we can get a lace-up like yours?! Thanks Lorrie!
This was a very useful tutorial. I have Premiere+ and mysewnet for my embroidery so I have to figure out if I can create this with either of those softwares.
This is great! For the gold, could you cut that as an svg on the cricut first? (By inflating an additional placement stitch more…?) to help avoid the hand cutting?
I am so excited! You have my head spinning with ideas. I would love to see a video with HTV as the glitter gold instead of the leather so I can add it to a sweatshirt. Is there a way that you could cut gold glitter HTV with the cricut then applique the microfiber towel top of that? I would love to make a sweatshirt with my daughter's Greek letters. Thank you for the inspiration.
This was a very great tutorial! May sound silly but My question is, do you just heat press the patch to Fanny pack or whatever item you want add patch too? Or do you glue the patch on?
Hi can you tell me if I need to purchase embrilliance in order to see & function the appliqué tab? I do not have it under my color chart under “Thread”. I only have 1 tab and that’s the Color tab with the “View box underneath that says Threads and Palettes. Thank you so much!
It’s basically a towel so they wash fine however the faux leather isn’t meant to be washed over and over so I wouldn’t put it on something that you machine wash often
Is there a reason why you wouldn't: 1. Put heat n bond on the back of the gold befire running it in the embroidery machine? 2. Cut the gold layer on your cricut?
Just found you, and love your content. How easy is embrilliance to use. I just got a Babylock venture and I’m looking for software to help me use my 14 x14 hoop and need to split images is this a good software?
of all the software programs I use for embroidery, Embrilliance is probably the most user friendly. It really depends what it is you want to do with the software.
Odd question because it is not relevant to the video, but may I ask what software or app did you or whomever used to create the awesome cartoon character of you at the end of the video? Thank you very much! Stacie in the Youngstown, Ohio area.
Oh. My. God. This is genius!!!! You're a genius. You just saved my christmas gift.
I make hooded towels and always have tons of towels scraps. I can't wait to try this!

Lori these are so cute and I agree they sound complicated but I love them. Also Evie is so lucky to have such a talented grandma.
Hello 👋 how are you doing today?
Girlfriend, you rock this the information alone on how to send to the cricut was awesome information.10 perfect.
How cute your pink iron is
Thanks, you have inspired me to give this a try with your step by step. I can see I really could use that little Vac.

Another AMZING tutorial !!!!
😍😍😍😍great tutorial!!! I was going to use wash cloths but I love the microfiber idea!! They look amazing!
Thanks. That was my original plan (wash cloth, towels) but then saw the microfiber 😀
What a neat idea!!!! Love it. Now I’m on the hunt for the towels!
What a great idea. I gotta try this.
Brilliant! And I love your hoodie!
Thank you!!
Super cute!! I guess I need to unpack and start using my embroidery machine. Lol Seems complicated, but I do love the end result.
It’s really not hard at all. Basically just applique with micro fiber
Thank you so much for a great tutorial using the microfiber!! I will be trying this!!
Thank you so much for this I saw these in Michael but the cricut band I love them
Thank. Love this. They are so cool. I got a bit confused, I will have to watch again.
Thank you for sharing this tutorial, I can’t wait to try!

Yes I been trying to figure this out !!!
💕 What a fabulous idea! This looks fantastic! Thank you so much for featuring us 💕
Do you have a way to do this without the embroidery machine?
I don’t think so.
@@Miss-Laineof course there’s ways
I wanted to do bunny ears like this. Kreative kiwi has a Easter gift bag with separate ears that you could do this to.
Love this. Thank you so much for your great instruction and fantastic videos.

This is a fantastic tutorial. Thanks for sharing❤️
Love it! You can also right click on the color and designate position or material.

Love this idea…. Have you ever tried to put letters back on scanncut or cricket to do final cut?
This is great! For the gold, could you cut that as an svg on the cricut first? (By inflating an additional placement stitch more…?) to help avoid the hand cutting?
You could It would require precise placement
@@LorrieNunemaker Try and show us please😁😁
Hi can you use HTV glitter vinyl or do we need faux leather for the background layer? They will be ironed on final product. Thanks!
great stuff. I have the scan n cut!
This was an outstanding tutorial! ~~~
Amazing 🤩
Hello 👋 how are you doing today?
Cute! Can’t wait to try this, thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you so much for this video! I want try to make this on my brother pe800 and I do have a Cricut maker 3 now 8 need embrilliance essentials
When you are sending it to the cutting machine do you take the clear coat off the vinyl before cutting?

Neat idea! Actually I really like it...will try to do it with my Explore Air 2 (bounded fabric). Great technique TY for sharing!!
Hello 👋 how are you doing today?
I Love the tutorial :)
Thank you for sharing! Can you use the heatnbond ultra without issues with the faux leather melting? Would love to know any tips you can share!
I’ve used it with no problem but you’ll want to be sure and cover it with a cloth and iron from the back
Great info
Can you do an in depth one with no cricket??

I'm making my bff a patch and we bought the ultrabond. Is there a reason you use the lite specifically? Thank you for this!
I’ll try it on my Brother Innovis NQ1600E
Hi Lorrie, can you please show how to send the design from the chroma lux to the cricut for cutting. Thank you.
See this video. I used chroma to create my applique pieces for this bib. Same process. ruclips.net/video/wo9L8SK9IAM/видео.html
Love these How do they wash up?
It’s basically a towel so they wash fine however the faux leather isn’t meant to be washed over and over so I wouldn’t put it on something that you machine wash often
How do you import the creative applique fonts into Embrilliance?
Where did you get the double heart applique? I've looked on Creative Appliques and can't seem to find the heart.
Is there a reason why you wouldn't: 1. Put heat n bond on the back of the gold befire running it in the embroidery machine? 2. Cut the gold layer on your cricut?
❤️❤️❤️can this be done as a no sew project?
Stay tuned
Why do you inflate the position stitch? What does that do?
Здорово 🙌🙏, как называется материал с блеском? 🙏

Where did you get the bags?

I’m really new to embroidery. Will this work on a non commercial machine?
Absolutely
@@LorrieNunemaker thank you. I have a husqvarna viking Ruby royale. Headed to see if you have a playlist on embrilliance 😊
Is there a reason you don't put the H&BL on th back of the entire microfiber cloth and then cut into the 3x3 pieces?
No reason other than I precut pieces of the cloth to the letter size as shown in the video.
I'm curious if the faux leather can be laundered? I have someone that wants to put a name on the back of a sweatshirt. Thank you!
I haven’t tried that but if you’re putting it in a garment I would
Use glitter iron on and appliqué right on the sweatshirt
@@LorrieNunemaker is the iron on just a vinyl or another faux leather?
@@revamerschman1089 it’s an iron on/HTV
Couldn't you have also cut that layer on your cricket?
Couldn’t you have just cut the gold part with your circuit instead of having to trim after?
Do you have an affiliate link for the vacuum?
It’s listed in the description 😉

Is there a way to do this on ricoma?
Yes. I made the heart on the Ricoma
Hey is the willl the college font work with this

Great idea, but I can't touch microfiber. That stuff sticks to my fingers like velcro! I hate it. 🤣
You could
Always use a traditional cotton towel/washcloth
