    This is a great idea. Have you tried cutting the vinyl with the cricut before placing it down? Trying to figure out how to save time and eliminate the final hand cutting.

      It’s really not hard at all. Basically just applique with micro fiber

    Thank you so much for posting this. I don't have an embroidery machine yet, so it's nice to see what other people use for these types of projects and what they are capable of. One question: Why not cut the faux leather with the Cricut? Would it all be too narrow or tight around the edges for the machine?

    I wanted to do bunny ears like this. Kreative kiwi has a Easter gift bag with separate ears that you could do this to.

    This is great! For the gold, could you cut that as an svg on the cricut first? (By inflating an additional placement stitch more…?) to help avoid the hand cutting?

    I am so excited! You have my head spinning with ideas. I would love to see a video with HTV as the glitter gold instead of the leather so I can add it to a sweatshirt. Is there a way that you could cut gold glitter HTV with the cricut then applique the microfiber towel top of that? I would love to make a sweatshirt with my daughter's Greek letters. Thank you for the inspiration.

      I’ve used it with no problem but you’ll want to be sure and cover it with a cloth and iron from the back

      It’s basically a towel so they wash fine however the faux leather isn’t meant to be washed over and over so I wouldn’t put it on something that you machine wash often

    Is there a reason why you wouldn't: 1. Put heat n bond on the back of the gold befire running it in the embroidery machine? 2. Cut the gold layer on your cricut?

    Just found you, and love your content. How easy is embrilliance to use. I just got a Babylock venture and I’m looking for software to help me use my 14 x14 hoop and need to split images is this a good software?

      of all the software programs I use for embroidery, Embrilliance is probably the most user friendly. It really depends what it is you want to do with the software.

      No reason other than I precut pieces of the cloth to the letter size as shown in the video.

      I haven’t tried that but if you’re putting it in a garment I would
      Use glitter iron on and appliqué right on the sweatshirt
