I love this tutorial. I am just starting on my first piece and this helps make it so much clearer when you start and end threads and which direction you go for what ever pattern you're doing... Which seems simple at first but I got so zoned out I had to pay attention.😂
When I see your work and your talk, You take me to the Another World . I don't understand your work, but at the end , it's Fantabulous. Just Love to see. 💫 💖 💫
You are ALWAYS inspiring and your work always beautiful. You're such a great and encouraging teacher. I love your love for hand work as it matches my love for hand stitching of all kinds. Thank you for your gentle ways and for sharing your gifts and talents.😊❤
Beautiful. I love the way you show the whole process breaking it down into understandable segments. I understand it so much better now and feel that I could do this.
Great tutorial for all Sashiko enthusiasts! ❤ I wanted to drop a quick message to let you know that I’ve featured your post on Crafts on Display, hope you enjoy it!
My new friend, You are Amazing. Your Techniques are very nice and informative, WOW! Using different colors threads give such Wonderful depth to the designs. 🙏🇺🇸
Beautiful and so nice. Soothing and relaxing to watch but I feel somehow difficult to follow bcoz fast and aditing video fast but can be understood by watching repeatedly I am a slow lurner. Blessings ❤
Some mention katha here, absolutely correct. Id seen village woman sew layers upon layers of scrap fabrics and old cotton sarees as outer layers and make warm dense quilts for winters that were very, very warm.
@@kadenmoore7918 even though both are made of running stitches, sashiko and kantha are different in origin. Kantha is a quilting embroidery and independently originated in Bengal. Sashiko is a reinforcing or patching technique. They are different in their original utility.
Is it really? It's like the most simple stitch possible(running) and sashiko originated with Japanese farmers trying to extend the life of their clothes.
Sorry, I did not understand what you do with the ends of the thread? You said to leave 6 to 12 cm pf the thread, but as i can see you just cut the end? How it does not fall apart?
It is also called visible mending. You can use this technique to add patches to clothes and make them look good even after fixing. Or collect these squares and make a blanket, table runner or wall art. There are many great patterns, not just easy lines or crosses. Have fun

These are just lovely! Thank you for another great tutorial!
La delicadeza con que efectúa cada punto. Cuando se termina el hilo, une la puntada, pero sin nudo, extraordinario. Muy bien. Gracias 😊

Sasiko is Indian in origin. It is Kantha stitch which later became Sasiko in the Japanese language.

Do you have any sources for that?
Eso de: si es de la India o Japonés el origen del bordado importa pero lo más importante es aplicarlo o hacerlo, ya lo hicieron?
@@rosaisela0905mucho Agradable 🎉
Are there any specific names for this patterns like ( hemp leaf pattern ) or something.
What will you do with these lovely creations?
Very good

А куда эти вещи можно применить? Я ваш язык не знаю, но все понятно как делать, только не понятно куда это применить?
