    Yep, that's what I need to do, a grid for making my sashiko stitches, which I love. Yet, my stitches without lines go all over the place...❤😅😊. Thank you for the tutorial.

    What I like best is how the simplest stich of all looks so amazing on a pair of pants. If you just need to mend, you could learn just that basic stich to keep your clothes going. A basic set of sashiko mending supplies for a beginner is available for twenty dollars on Etsy and instead of tossing costly clothing and destroying the planet, you could make a work of art.

    I have noted that hold the needle different from what I am used to, so if I try this technique I will have to create the needle support in your palm, all very interesting 😊

      Hmmm… I’ve never noticed that… but I imagine it can happen, that’s why you want smooth out your fabric after you pull your needle. :)

      Hi, embroidery thread may give you another look. You can use any thread, although cotton and sashiko threads are recommended because they are soft and easy to absorb water and moist, and also environmentally friendly. :)

      Try attach the fabric to a cutting mat with grid and then draw lines according to the grid may help. :)
