I use my Cricut to cut a rounded corner rectangle that measures an extra 1/4 inch than the design. I do fuse it centered to the design. It is neat and saves the trimming of the poly mesh. I also use it to cut tender touch.

How well does he glitter hold up and wash in the landry?
I do this type of style! But I just use glitter iron on HTV.

I noticed that the glitter faux leather letters were already "shaped". How did you precut them before stitching them down?

What do you think about using glitter HTV - can cut on the Silhouette and then place -- then press with heat press??? I think I will try it.

I really want to make the patches on the backpack....and the one you show in the video is PERFECT! You mention it's from Target, but I've looked in my local store AND online and can't find it. When you exported the tack down stitch to your silhouette, how much larger did you make it from the original tack down size? Also what settings was your cutting machine set to? ☺️
I don't know how you line up the glitter faux leather over the tack down stitch!! I'm a perfectionist and I never could get the leather perfectly centered over the tack down stitch. :(

Looks great! However, idk how that glitter ribbon will wash as well as how comfortable it would be to wear. From what I know about the ribbon is the glitter is chunky and scratches. Maybe a gold glitter embroidery vinyl will work better.

Where is video for cutting the faux leather on your machine? I tried looking but couldn’t find it.
Not everyone has that embrilliance software to do these patches I have essentials and stitch art that’s it
How did you cut your glitter ribbon out with your silhouette? How did your machine know the exact size to cut it?!
What size or how much larger did you make the metalic?

Hi! I’m pretty new to embroidering but would eventually like to make it a small business. Which machine would you recommend starting with? Right now I have a Brother SE625 but my hoop size is only a 4x4 which limits my projects. Thank you! And thanks for your videos/tutorials!
Congrats on your new embroidery adventure!! Hmm it depends on what you plan on embroidering! If you can get away with 5x7 hoop there are some good options in the $1000-$2000 range! the next step up after those would be a Brother Persona or Baby Lock alliance around $5000 (they can go up to 8x8 hoop ). If you want a bigger embroidery field then that then a Melco Bravo would be a great choice with 16 needles at great price point! This machine is similar to brother or baby lock 6- 10 needle home machine but with way more features and needles!

What kind of thread did you use on the glitter canvas. Would you have to use a metallic thread?
I used my normal thread!! I just used my gold color!!!! I don’t like using metallic thread!! It breaks too much!
