Before embroidering, you first need to digitize the design for chenille. This means adding a chenille module to your digitizing software. The chenille module is available for any tier of Chroma; you just need to contact Ricoma to access it. To activate the chenille module, click “Help,” “Activation,” “Product,” “Chenille” and insert the serial number that was provided to you. Then restart Chroma.
When digitizing these designs, the inside will use chenille and the outside will use regular satin stitches from embroidery. To start, go to the Chenille Fill tool, click on the machine wand and select the color you want to fill the interior areas with. Then switch to Complex Fill and change the color to do the outline. Next, use the Selecting tool to convert the complex fill to a satin stitch. Then, make some changes to the density and the push and pull compensation. After that, choose whether you want a Lattice or Spiro fill type. That’s all it takes to digitize a combo chenille and embroidery design! You can repeat these steps for other designs.
The MCC-061501 is a combo machine that has one head for embroidery and one head for chenille. The head has 15 needles, a sequel and boring device. The chenille head has an 8” x 6” display panel and uses one needle to bring up thread from the bottom of the machine. It’s similar to a regular embroidery machine, but with more features for chenille. You’ll also need to transfer the design onto the machine by inserting the USB. Next, import the color sequence and set up the embroidery. Then, hoop a sheet of cutaway stabilizer and start up the machine.
Love the way he says Loop
Thanks so much for watching!
Too bad that machine wouldn't fit in a house! You guys should make the chenille part available separately
Hi Brandon, thanks so much for watching. We'll pass this along!
Amazing!! I have to work my way up to this level! Can’t wait for my MT to arrive!
Congratulations on your new machine! And practice makes perfect! Love what this machine can do!!! The designs came out beautiful!
Thanks so much!
I had no idea having to do chenille like that on a varsity jacket required having it's own separate machine. Super interesting! That seems like a pretty good niche to invest into with how few chenille embroiderers there probably are out there.
Absolutely!
Wow. That turned out awesome. I tried to have a custom letterman jacket done a couple years ago. With Chenille patch the on the shoulder & cool embroidery on the back. Sadly the person ordered the wrong jacket & I missed my deadline for a show I was going to. So canceled my order. Still wish I could find someone who had one of these machines & knew what they where doing. Great video. ❤️🤘
Thanks so much for watching. Sorry to hear about your order. Next time!
What brand and size of thread did you use? How about th density t avoid puckering.?
Great questions, Gabriel! This is a specific type of thread exclusively used for chenille and it's called wool yarn. But, you can use other yarn-like thread. Also, keep the stitch density around 4.0 to 6.0 stitches per millimeter (spm). This density range allows for enough coverage without overcrowding the fabric, which can cause puckering.
I’m definitely interested
Awesome! Please submit a request with our team > info.ricoma.com/contact-us/o?Organic%3A%20Ongoing%20promotion&Organic
These look amazing!
They really did come out awesome!
I do not have room in my shop for a third Ricoma machine! But I want it!!!!
Let us know when you are ready :)

Hi there! Chenille is not available on the EM1010. It's a combo machine that we have available! (:
What does the combo machine sell for?
Can i do chenille on the em1010?
You can add it as a add on but only to certain machines ----> ricoma.com/US/machine/mcc-061501
is it possible to install the Chenille device also on my SWD1501 8S machine?
It won't be possible, Antonio.
What the smallest size you can do with chenille?
The smallest you can do is 0.0100.

Yes you can!
I love this machine, I currently use a SWF but want to do chenille. How can I get this machine ASAP!!
Contact us and a product specialist can walk you through it!
What if I want to design patches to sell, but I don't yet have the capacity to manufacture them myself? How would I go about finding someone to make them for me cheaply enough that i could make a profit?
Hi there, thanks so much for watching. This is a great question to ask in our Facebook support group, Embroidery and Custom Apparel Mastery. This group is meant for all lovers of embroidery with lots of resources and more members discussing topics and helping each other out and learning about Ricoma machines and other brands! We recommend you join this group as we'd love to have you! facebook.com/groups/embroiderymastery

Hi there, we use Chroma.
@@ricomatv oh thanks bro maybe I will start learning the chroma way of digitizing
I'm use to wilcom but now I begin to like this chroma
I have been watching a lots of videos on this channel
@@ricomatvplease where can I download the chroma software?
This is sick! Does it take longer for chenille to stitch versus regular embroidery?
Yes somewhat, the speed of chenille is a little slower
Plz learn me how to create gredaint colour what software are u useing plz tell me
Amazing video😮…can you please tell me what kind of thread do u use of chenille? Is it same threads you use on embroidery?
Yes! Before embroidering, you first need to digitize the design for chenille. This means adding a chenille module to your digitizing software.
How can one is South Africa can get Chroma? Because this side my Ricoma MT1502 came with Perla Premium but I'm interested in Chroma since I would like to own this machine in near future.

Do you supply global . Patches only for me
Hi there! We are so sorry for the misunderstanding. We don't do customized orders.
How did you cut the patches? What is the boaring device?
Hi there, thanks so much for watching. A boring device is a special knife that bores a hole in a fabric and then a needle and thread sew open the hole, the size of the hole is adjustable and the shape can be created through the process of digitizing to meet your desires. Hope this helps!

Activation code does not work.
Hi! What activation code are you referring to?
There are ways this could be made with a regular machine. A demo with a ZSK (German machine) here. Hopefully Ricoma could do this too.
ruclips.net/video/ENnQTZqnv1Y/видео.htmlsi=8Ff0cKBPhCZw7PvB
Ricoma machines can absolutely do this. They are using a large needle with "BURMALINA" thread and the file was digitized to give the chenille effect. Nothing we can't handle.
Por favor en español,
