A lot of memorable roles. Definitely the right pick for the joker, it seems like he’ll do a good job
I wonder if River would've still been big..what would he think of his little brother. Both iconic actors. Love them...RIP River
I have loved him since 1986 when I saw him in Spacecamp. Besides Gladiator, some of my favorite performances of his were Quills, The Yards and We Own The Night.
"Smile though your heart is achen"
The premiere of “Joker” at the Venice Film Festival drew an eight-minute standing ovation for actor Joaquin Phoenix
It's inspiring to peek at the struggles of people who are larger than life. Thank you.
I think he’s an amazing actor! He really seems to indulge into his characters.
Joaquin Phoenix is the SHIT!!!💘
Who's here after watching his Joker movie?
How is the movie
@@vanish4all Masterpiece bro, no joke..
@@vanish4all its one of the best movies ever
@@vanish4all Very good.
River would be so proud of Joaquin if he was still alive, both incredible actors, imagine how good River would of been now ? as a kid he was unrivaled.
"He never impersonated Johnny Cash, he became him." That makes me so scared for Joaquin playing Joker 😭
Me too
That's Right
Perfect blend for taking the joker role
I've only seen Her and now Joker and wow he really is one of the greats.
Signs was the first film I watched with him. Since then I've loved him
lisamity actually yes, I have seen signs but I was so little and very scared so I dont remember it... maybe I'll try watching it again!
I have always loved Joaquin. He has lived a hard life but so strong to be able to go through all that and still captured the love from everyone! I’m a huge fan!
12 tf? @Water Bottles
haha why thanks ill take it as a compliment, its in my genes and get facials reguarly. @Water Bottles
plus its a filter.
Now he's going to be the best Joker we will ever see!
Joaquin Phoenix is inarguably one the best actors out there.
He is able to really become the character assigned to him and make that character come to life or feel real. Like it’s really the character themselves we are seeing.
Props and mad respect to Phoenix 👏 👏
i never knew river was his brother just made that connection, how terrible :(
everyone in the comments are saying they’re worried about joaquin and they don’t want to lose another joker. joaquin himself said joker didn’t cause any mental stress for him. todd phillips said they laughed alot off set. joaquin is engaged to his beautiful fiancé rooney. he seems very happy and healthy to me. i understand why people are worried but he looks like he’s living pretty good to me despite everything he’s been through.
Happy to hear this..even I think they are happy healthy
Had River lived I believed he would have been a huge star.
I love Joaquin Phoenix and I think he’s very underrated! He should of ran for an Oscar for his role in “We Own The Night”! That’s my opinion I think that was one of his best performances and god he was so hot in that movie!
he’s incredibly handsome
Dude has gone through hell and back and still aspires to more and more - working harder and harder, and always thinking about what he can do better. A model for this next generation (and all of us) that is much needed.
am 65 I've been in love with this man a long time I know am nothing but I would love to just meet him
I didn't know about this guy before the Joker trailer, now I'm obsessed lol. He is great and I can't wait to see his future projects!
River would have been bigger than Leo. Remember Joaquin said he was going to retire? Lol
Oh right he did lol
River was dicaprio before dicaprio
I love leo but river was a better actor, besides he is leo's inspiration, he said he was going to retire but even his girlfriend then said she didn't believe he would actually quit
Shut up
Very hard to say, he definitely had the potential.. But would he of landed roles like the Titanic which made everyone on the planet into movies or not know who Leo was
You forgot to add at the end “and then he got the role of Joker coming soon, and he went back to being absolutely fucking crazy...” 😍
I relate to Phoenix so much, I feel like he is like my soul dad, i also use to be bipolar but I’m going thru therapy rn and I feel better
Joker was so beautiful. Thank you Joaquin Phoenix.
You are a Beautiful person, You are so Talented ,be who you are . I Love You💗
Thanks for the video !
Loved it...
Who had the massive crush on river Phoenix RIP angle we miss you
I have so much respect for Joaquin Phoenix now. Wow. Just wow...
