“Really, really, really,” Terribly articulate!! No offense, but perhaps you are referring to his elocution. One need neither be well educated, nor especially articulate, in order to be a talented actor. Clearly, Boyle thinks highly of him.
There is something so satisfying about actors living in their country of origin after going mega in Hollywood. I don't know why but I find it comforting.
We see how attached he is to the character of Thomas Shelby...he understands it so well. That's why we love him so much in this role. I love Cillian Murphy, he is so humble and down to earth.
I feel like Cillian is a very self-aware person. The way he thinks about what he is going to say next is very mesmerizing. I've read a few books about people who are self-aware and how they choose their words very precisely. It was a very interesting interview. You get to learn a lot about the actors and how they actually feel about a movie or a certain role. And how it relates to their own life in sort of a "destined way".

Cillian Murphy Colin Morgan Both Irish Both have gorgeous cheek bones and beautiful blue eyes Both have no interest in social media Both incredible actors and dedicated to their craft.
I like the way this interview is made, it takes time and they let him talk. Especially in contrast to media nowadays, where we are trying to consume as much information in as little time as possible. It's quite soothing to watch.
Cillian always had these eyes, like he doesn't care, like he knows he's capable, at any moment, of cutting you raw through your ego and your heart with his actions and words, without even touching you or raising his voice, if he so chooses. And yet, I bet he actually is just a cool, nice person hehe.
No Red Eye? That's an underrated thriller and really, Cillian carried it, he was perfect in the psycho role. He's in general not a guy fit to play just ordinary dudes, his face, eyes, and the way he talks are too expressive and specific. Due to his specific eyes/face and voice, he really is a good fit for intense or complicated characters. I think he would make a great Bond villain.

He has always been one of my favourite actors ever because he's not yelling and screaming in every role he's in, when emotion has to be portrayed he just FEEEEEELS - you can see it in his big beautiful blue eyes everything that he's thinking and that's just amazing
i'm just shocked that his accent in peaky blinders isn't his real accent
He's fantastic with accents, I've always known he was Irish (as I am) but I think this is the first time I've heard him speak in his own accent. It's so jarring to hear your own accent coming out of a body that you've associated with so many other voices.

I don't know why "Red Eye" is not mentioned here. He's such a great actor. I love his performances and his ability to express so much with his eyes.
Can we just appreciate Chris for calling him for his roles
batman Chris always knows what’s up 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
He is so articulate, speaks so well, makes you want to listen to anything he says
I think when people don’t talk a lot generally, when they do talk you listen morw
I think it's his Irish accent because I feel the same way when I hear Colin Farrell talk
@@ElviraBby there's no such thing as an Irish accent! Ireland is a big country - many accents!
@@user-vg1tt3vg9y Sorry I didnt mean to generalize😅 I guess I like Cillian's particular accent and Colin's too
“Really, really, really,” Terribly articulate!!
No offense, but perhaps you are referring to his elocution.
One need neither be well educated, nor especially articulate, in order to be a talented actor.
Clearly, Boyle thinks highly of him.
I’ve never seen him with a beard. He is always clean shaven
TraderAhmed you mean you never saw him with a beard, because what you wrote contradicts itself
Ibraheem Talha lmao I just noticed that
It's for his role in The Quiet Place 2
He has a beard in the movie Perrier's Bounty if you want to see him with a beard.
Growing a beard when you have a jawline like that would be downright criminal.
There is something so satisfying about actors living in their country of origin after going mega in Hollywood.
I don't know why but I find it comforting.
He looks like a Sims character that I create with the best option in every category.
Sims eh? Well you just reminded of another beautiful irishman

I love how cillian talks about his first day on set and being face to face with LEONARDO DICAPRIO and he chooses to talk about the tilting water.
this means he was more impressed with Nolan's directing skill than Leo's acting skill

And how it relates to their own life in sort of a "destined way".
absolutely! and he approaches each role with a sort of reverence and compassion for the people whose experiences he is portraying.
Do you recommend any books on the topic you mentioned? I'm intrigued
Good to know some people appreciate self-aware people. Sometimes it get's confused for insecurity, restraint or awkwardness. I like how you describe it.

His role as Jackson Rippner in Red Eye was absolutely stunning, the man him self looks as if he's a twisted psycho killer, he has a threatening presence and with his handsomely evil face expression, and finally his blue devil eyes, the film was amazingly intense because of him

"Chris called me up and said he had a role in this film".
"And I actually read the script this time"

I can't see enough of Cillian, such a great actor he is. He deserves more and more recognition and appreciation ♥️
How Cillian hasn't received an Oscar yet, I'll never understand.

I could listen to him talk for hours, his voice is so calminggg
