Cillian is one of those rare actors that can perfectly portray any role: protagonist, antagonist, romantic hearthrob, psychopathic villian, traumatized soldier, charismatic gangster. Man is a chameleon of an actor and he is always able to bring a new side of him to the big screen.

And I love how he can play the very charismatic strong guys in Peaky Blinders but then play very weak and sort of frightened characters in Inception and 28 Days Later

Like in 28 days, he really played a man trying to survive a nightmare. Very realistic. He's a very talented actor. Very rare to have an actor with his looks not be top of the tabloids.

Breakfast on Pluto was a movie where Cillian Murphy stole my heart. You can smell, feel and breath the person he is portraying. It's like a smooth river that takes you in it's flow and never let's go. Very enjoyable, very intense, also scary.
He is nothing like Thomas Shelby in real life, not even his real accent is close. Yet, he is so natural in his role, even his accent is spot on. What an amazing actor!

And now Cillian can add "Oppenheimer" to this great list. I can't wait to see what other projects he'll be a part of. He's really a fantastic actor, but he's also a genuinely kind and humble person. I love how shy he is and doesn't strive for fame and attention, yet he loves what he does. And his eyes are absolutely BEAUTIFUL.
He is one of those actors who just does his job, isn't involved with any scandals, doesn't show up dressed like a hobo or like a peacock and thus doesn't become a talked about super star, but he definitely shaped modern cinema. Great dude.

His vocabulary at times impressed me, his personality also fascinates me, if you see him in other interviews when he's not talking he's got that 1000 mile stare but he still listens to what's going on, he also mostly keeps to himself and always puts on strong performances; that's why we appreciate him I guess.

He has always been one of my favourite actors ever because he's not yelling and screaming in every role he's in, when emotion has to be portrayed he just FEEEEEELS - you can see it in his big beautiful blue eyes everything that he's thinking and that's just amazing
No Red Eye? That's an underrated thriller and really, Cillian carried it, he was perfect in the psycho role. He's in general not a guy fit to play just ordinary dudes, his face, eyes, and the way he talks are too expressive and specific.
Due to his specific eyes/face and voice, he really is a good fit for intense or complicated characters. I think he would make a great Bond villain.
His accent control is amazing, I never would have guessed his normal voice after seeing him in the Nolan Batman’s.

It's funny how you seem to forget Cillian Murphy was in some of these great films, like inception for example. Yet despite not being the main characters for these films his performance is always amazing. he has a wide range of acting too which I think also makes him less noticeable in these films sadly because he can be so different role to role.

He's such an underrated actor. He is able to clearly portray the scene with just his eyes and facial expressions.
I think that’s why Tommy is so great to watch. If you’re not paying attention to him you can miss a lot of his emotions. I especially love when him and Alfie/ Tom Hardy are together, they play off each other so well.

Yes I like that they added that in the movie because in the comics when he doesn’t have the mask on he is not so intimidating. I think him being and intimidating person with and without the mask was a good addition to the character. Especially looking at how Johnathan Crane was already being the Scarecrow
